If you order an item and they ship the wrong item to you, you end up getting a partial refund because you pay for the shipping both ways as well as the tax paid on the item that you never received! That was how I felt and rightly so. But I must admit that after contacting them thru their chat now line, I was kindly assisted and refunded the remainder so that I received all of my money back. I'm just not sure how I feel about trusting their shipping department again.
After taking quite a bit of time selecting items for a wardrobe refresh and placing the order, Nordstrom rack cancelled my order without explanation. Even if they suspected fraud due to the fact that I added a new ship to address, that order should not have been cancelled. The items had minimal stock and now more than likely those items will become unavailable. The order should have been placed on hold, the inventory allocated and I should have been contacted immediately or within 24-hours. This is not a good business practice. I will shop my wardrobe refresh elsewhere.
Great deal you just have to dig. Unfortunately I stopped using the app after they changed it and now won't show your old purchases. I've seen others complain about this. I hope they bring this back. I now shop in the stores instead, ones in California have some amazing finds.
Bought two expensive sweatshirts online. Came in box with small packing slip, folded in half, with just the two items listed. Didn't fit. Busy traveling for work so did not have a chance to return for about 60 days. When my wife took them to a store to return them, because I was again out of town, they said the purchase was too old for them to accept them, as there is a 30 day deadline for returns. Turns out the policy was printed on the back of the packing slip, in very light and small print, which was not visible because it was on the inside of the fold. Called customer service, and all they did was repeat that they could not issue a return label for purchases outside of the time limit. What a scam.
So much better than their main store. Got my 19 year old grandson a complete outfit for $89.00 for his uncles wedding. He looked fabulous. The salesman that helped was so friendly and helpful. Love it!
I have used Nordstrom Rack on line for many years. Always receive the same great customer service you get in their retail stores. Never an issue with returns. Against my better judgement I recently tried Blue Fly and be warned - they are deceptive and impossible to get a refund.
Should stick with the companies you know and trust.
Sure, they have a nice selection but horrible customer service. The people are nice but there are about 2 of them. I am now 78 in line for an online chat to resolve my issue. It took almost 2 weeks to receive my items; I returned several on October 13 (have receipt) and still, November 1, no refund. In the days of Amazon prime and Zappos and more... why is this the case? I will not shop here again. I have other choices.
I ordered shoes from Nordstrom Rack a few months ago. After a few weeks of getting notices that my order was still being processed, the third week I received notice that my order could not be filled what does that mean? Two weeks ago, I ordered two tops. I am getting same messages. What gives? I wind up with cc credit. I don't like this business practice.
Bought a pair of Sperry boots online in May, then started to wear them in Oct, the zipper already coming apart in two months. I called their customer service and was told they can't do anything about it... Bad customer service and bad product
Please don't buy online! There are holes all over my blouse. The product description does not indicate that it is damaged. They refuse to return the money. The customer service stopped responding. No more online shopping! Bad quality, bad service.
On Dec. 6, I ordered a pair of Ray Bans sunglasses as a Christmas gift. The glasses never arrived, and I called Nordstrom Rack Customer Service 8 times to ask for a refund. On Jan. 7 I was notified that my item had been delivered; however, it was not delivered to my address. I had to call once again to beg for a refund, and I finally received it today. If I had bought the glasses on Ebay, I would have received a prompt refund after 2 weeks. Unfortunately, Nordstrom Rack does not treat its customers as well.

No apology from them and I myself still have to take them back. How can you put in the parcel old decrepit shoes? Where do workers have eyes?
I placed an order for 5 items late 12/27. In looking at an email next morning I realized that PayPal had defaulted my shipping address to a previous one (in another state). I got on chat and was told 1 item had shipped and there was no way to reroute it. They put in a request for refund due to being unable to reroute. I asked them to change the address for the remaining 4 items. They could not. I asked to cancel unshipped items. They could not. I was advised to call when I received tracking. I did. Could not reroute 4 items. Placed refund request. Just received email that 1st request was denied…Guessing same 2nd…
Terrible service. Ordered 2 pairs brooks tennis shoes. Waited a week before any response. Then they cancel the entire order saying a inventory dispute. Sorry about your luck email is all I received. I missed another chance to get what I wanted waiting for them. STAY AWAY.
Awful online experience. Ordered a gift 10 days before Christmas, got an email notification is was cancelled, no explanation on December 21st. No easy way to contact them, very long wait to call or live chat.
Won't shop with them again.
Horrible customer service. Waits several business days after you order to ship your items, and takes FOREVER to arrive. Seriously, why bother.
Also, had an issue where they cancelled an entire 8 item ($400+) for no reason after it shipped.
There are so many other places to shop online.
Hate how they deal with cdl still after complaining about the package not reaching and always getting lost now I done buying from Nordstrom rack too. It's so sad all they say is will give u ur refund back..
It's a shame that this site doesn't have the option of 0 stars. Nordstrom Rack customer service department on the phone and online are very bad. Don't waste your time trying to place an order online, they would cancel it with out even letting you know, and if you call them there is nothing they can do.
Absolutely dissatisfied customer. Made a card payment in-store Maple Grove, MN. My debit card information was stolen and had over $3,000 stolen from my bank, the next day from Oklahoma! Of course I opened a police report. I want to warn customers that this is a concern when you make payments in their store! Bad experience overall, will be taking my business elsewhere!
This company must be getting greedy; They have cut down on staff due to flag ship Nordstrom's store being dead. Orders used to come in less than 10 days; now you don't even get a tracking and I have been waiting for items that stated they would be shipped in 7-10 days. That was 3.5 weeks ago. Nice way to lower your customer base. T. J Maxx much better- they know how to treat their customers. I get items there in 5 days from date of order.
