This company's clothes are trash now. The people that bought this company destroyed it. They ruined this legacy. Sell it to someone who will do better.
They ripped me off too, so now, every morning before I start work, I sign their email (*******@nyandcompany.com) up for a TON of junk email! I also call their "customer service" number *******692, which they don't answer, even during regular business hours), and I blow a loud horn or whistle in the phone, or tell them what a crap company they are.
Join me! Let's drive this company crazy or out of business! The more the merrier.
I wish I could give a negative review. I have ordered from this company for many years, with no issues. However, the order I placed on March 18,2024 still hasn't made it to me yet. I called and emailed multiple tomes with no response. No response, not a peep. I have a store card with them, and I made a return from a purchase in earlier February of 2024. On February 15,2024, I received an email saying "Your return was delivered via UPS on Feb 15th, 2024. Due to a high volume of orders, we are experiencing a delay in processing returns. Please allow additional time to receive your refund. We appreciate your patience, and you will receive an email confirmation once the process is complete. Please note, that depending on your original payment method, it may take additional days for a return credit to appear on your credit card or bank statement." It is now April 5th, 2024, and no credit back to my NY&Co store card. I am now getting an interest charge on an item that I returned. I reached out to the card company any the said they cannot issue a refund. While I had them on the phone. They called NY& Co and could not get a hold of them as well. They have lost a customer

I've ordered from them in the past maybe 3 or 4 yrs ago and never had an issue. However, things have changed badly.
I'm starting to wonder if they are based in a foreign country because of their shady business practices. It's been 2 weeks and my $300+ worth of clothing has not been shipped; only a shipping label was created. They do not respond to emails or calls so don't waste your time.
It's a shame I had to do a chargeback with my credit card company. That is what I recommend the rest of you do if you have ordered something and have not received it within the 5-7 business days their site alleges.
I used to absolutely love New York & Company when they were stores through out the state. The quality of clothing and styles were amazing. Now that they are strictly online, the quality, sizing consistency, and styles are horrible! There was a huge sale the other day and I was unsure of the size I should get for some pants in fear of having to return them. Thankfully I had some old pants from NY&CO so was able to determine the size I would possibly need, and the ones I ordered actually fit. But it doesn't happen like that all the time for everyone. I just went on the site to order some more items and everything I selected was final sale!
The fact that EVERYTHING is NOW FINAL SALE, NO RETURNS is outrageous! This is a great way for them to lose all their customers. Buying online is already hard enough, but being stuck with clothes that do not fit really sucks.
So I guess I am no longer a customer. They need to rethink their policy and go back to Final Sale for things that are clearance/red line.
I wouldn't recommend getting anything from their site unless it is jewelry or other small accessories that are more than likely going to work out.

1993 Wrk for NY&Company formaly know as Lerner. Shopped 20+ today I'm disappointed that its no longer what it was back in its glory. All but 1 piece of clothes was ok the rest of clothes were subpar. I purchase a bulk of Final sales based on past experience but now its not the same. Now I'm stuck with items I cant even exchange or get credit for. There no longer buy again.
I have been a fan of this store for several years. Once the brick-and-mortar stores closed, I noticed that the clothing online was of lower quality. Last year, I decided to try them again and saw they were hit or miss, but I loved a few items. In January, I ordered two suits and returned one. I received confirmation that my return was received and waited patiently for the refund. After weeks, I emailed Customer Service and was advised that the refund was processing, and I was offered a discount for a future purchase. Thankfully, I did not fall for that. Now, my request for a status update is being ignored. After researching, I learned that several others have experienced this recently, and now the return policy says all sales are final. They don't answer calls or emails. Do yourself a favor and just pass. You have been warned.
I bought a dress in November that didn't arrive until January. I was charged 3 times for the dress. Once it arrived I was very displeased with the quality so I immediately returned it. The company emailed me on Jan 23rd confirming they received my return. It is now March 8th and I have not been reimbursed for the return nor can I reach anyone at customer service to give me an update. Will never be doing business with them again!
I returned a partial order, email from NY & Co confirmed items received Feb 6th with a note to be patient for the $100.60 refund. Next message on the 16th said the return window closed on the 12th! They held onto the order until the return window closed so no refund.
Contacted my credit card company, they refunded my money.

After a very frustrating return experience with no refund in site, I am just learning what a messed up company this is. I wish I had never purchased anything from them. The original shipment took a long time, but that was nothing compared to my return. Emails bounced back, no customer service staff, voicemails unanswered. Now I come to find out that the parent company is actually going under. Be sure to dispute the charges with your credit card company before it is too late.

Been a month and still no refund! They confirmed a month ago that they have my returned items but I am still waiting for my $263 refund. I have emailed, called and chatted. They keep saying they are sorry for the inconvenience and wait 5-7 business days for an email that my refund has been started. Never get anything and still waiting on my money! I used to love this company but I will never purchase anything again! One unhappy customer.
Horrible company and customer service. They have had my returned item for over 6 weeks. I have contacted the company several times and get an excuse that the warehouse has still to process it (since Nov. 27,2023 when it showed they had it in their possession). I get the same excuse and it will be 3 to 7 business days to process. They don't process and won't return my money. I have contacted them weekly and it is the same lie. Order N*******

Beware of buying clothes from NYC and sending back returns. Back in late September 2023 I received my items and needed to return 3 of the items. I didn't receive a return label and stayed on hold for more than 30 minutes waiting for customer service and no one came to the phone. I decided to pay UPS to return the items. My tracking number showed NYC received my return on 09 October 2023. I waited 2 weeks. 7/10 days for processing return and 3/5 days for refund. I tried calling nothing. I emailed and was assured I would receive my refund. It's now 19 November 2023 and still no refund.
The blessing in all of this is I used my NYC card and sent them proff of everything and they have filed a dispute and put a stop on my account so I'm not charged interest and sad part is had I received my $115.00 refund, I would have only owed my NYC card company $18.00.
I will no longer buy from NYC and I no longer advertise clothes I bought from them. I also warn everyone to stay away from them. Also, I'm told on other post I am not the 1st person NYC has done this to. NYC are scamming consumers once they receive they merchandise they have failed to return our refunds back in a timely manner. Beware!

Was on phone for over 1hr 20mins and no one answered - all because shipping address was incorrect. They refused to help in correcting it and told me to go to the carrier after 5 days of waiting for package to ship. I was told by carrier that they NY& Co has the ability to change it so now I have to play a waiting game to see where package ends up!
These scammers haven't even shipped my order on 14 days since I placed the order. I tried emailing and got no response. I tried the chat and she basically told me to wait longer and would not cancel or refund my order even through my order was still listed as "unfulfilled" on the website. I waited on hold TWICE for over an hour to talk to a human and I NEVER got one. I finally just went to my pal pal and requested a refund and escalated it for PayPal to get involved- PayPal refunded my money within 5 mins. I will never EVER buy from them again
No stars if possible. I purchased a dress for which I paid $41.49 I had to returned it because it did not fit right. I received only about $17.00 back, because they made me pay for shipping it back to them. The shipping charge was more than $20.00 when I had pay only $7.00 for shipping when I purchased it. I called them but their customer service is low quality and they kept my money and the dress. Stay away from this place.
