As I had been in a break from photography world, I would like to close my account on their site and stop the recurring billing charges.
I had emailed their customer service to close my account and stop the recurring billing on 11 September 2016. And they did promptly respond to my email and told me that they were sorry to hear that and that they had closed my account as well as stopping the recurring billing charges.
I was surprised when I received my monthly credit card billing. There was still a transaction from One Model Place with the same amount as usual.
I mean what is this? A total scam!
I wrote to them again right away.
And until now they haven't got back to me again.
To all people that are working or love the photography world, my suggestion is to stay away from this website.

My girlfriend used this website to get some really good freelance work in our area. I took some shoddy photos and then she posted them online and despite my poor technique she got a few cheap gigs. Then she used those photos to get more gigs.

OMP is a ghost company that provides no way to delete accounts over 10yrs old that still makes $$ from posting old photos that misrepresent the former model AND the website. It's the equivalent of the nasty drunken uncle that tries to touch his nieces.

When you try to contact them via the posted contact page, the page displays for a few seconds (or until you click to enter text), then spins out to a generic WELCOME BACK splash page to log in.

Disregard this website unless you want to use it like the WAYBACK MACHINE. Notify me if you're enacting a class action lawsuit against them.

I am a Model photographer located in CT. I was a member of OMP.com, then they sold the site to someone else and I was not getting good vibs and answers from them so I quit them. After about 6 months i decided to sign back in with them to get my old photos up. And in need of Models, asked and checked new models in my state, searched and there were 186 models in CT. But,... when I checked them, there were really very few, and out of them all, the dates on when these models joined go back to 2010. Very few new models. Site is DEAD, don't sign up with them.

Everything you need to know for glamour photography - About 6 months ago, I posted on this website and was wondering how good it was for an aspiring glamour/model photographer. After getting some feedback, I joined model and photographer community. In the past 6 months, I learned pretty much everything I needed to learn about glamour photography from this site. (I was already a model, so I did have that experience).

I learned the basics of digital glamour photography from their online archived newsletters as well as their recommended books and I even attended one of their workshops in LA which was amazing. I also got a chance to network at their OMP parties and met a few great models that did TFP to get my portfolio started. I took their nude photography class and got comfortable taking photos of nude models. There are not many places where you can easily find nude models that are legitimate and I found many on here both male and female that worked out great and enhanced my portfolio.

The only drawback is not all of the models are current and you really need to make sure the models are 100% committed. Most of these models are part time and as such they have other jobs and committments, so they have often cancelled on me. But overall it has been great to have found this website.

For about 7 bucks a month, this has been the greatest thing to get me started in glamour/model photography.

I swear there are maybe 30 models on the site (in the LA area). Not worth the subscription fee at all.

Better luck on ModelMayhem.com
