I've heard literal horror stories about ontrac from so many people (even my therapist?) and so when I ended up getting them for my package shipping I was scared. They did deliver which I'm thankful for. My items were in great condition, which is even better. Everything was there too! Infact other then the absolute blunder that was getting my address wrong in every sense (I still wonder how that happened lol) the shipment was great! When they said they delivered and no one answered I was a bit afraid seeing as literally everyone but me was home that day and no one got it, but after a quick message they got it to me by the next morning which was amazing and I can't thank them enough for that! But in the end, be careful when shipping with companies like this because it's a hit or miss, I'm just glad I hit a homerun with this one
EVERYONE gets this or they get their package thrown or destroyed. They probably opened my package and then said I need 3 days to confirm my address which is funny because I ordered 2 of them and 1 was delivered fast by FedEx. The other I ordered first by OnTrac and it's still not delivered even after ongoing disputes on my address. It's Philadelphia pa. You cannot find Philadelphia pa? Don't work for a shipping company if you're bad at addresses. I cannot order anything if I did not add my address in so 2-3 weeks now and nothing. A refund does not even help the issue. I'm so frustrated / disappointed / angry at the shipping service.
I never received any proof that my package has been delivered they just marked it as delivered and their customer service is so bad! I asked for proof of delivery and they couldn't provide any this is absolutely the worst shipping company i've ever seen!
Very unprofessional no customer service and very rude. Delivering my package today one star this is the worst company I have ever dealt with rude people.
This is by far the worst company for delivery and the whole world. They must hire everybody that the post office FedEx UPS and Amazon won't hire. Always dropping packages on the totally different streets that don't even have the right house number on it. It just amazes me how bad this company, drivers or maybe the dispatcher is Someone doesn't know what the they're doing and I think it's the whole place Jacked
Tip for consumers:
I wish the place that I ordered from did not use this company

They've had my package for 4 days and I still haven't received it! They don't have a live person you can speak with. There texting option is ridicules at best. How the heck do they stay in business? Who would want to use them? They really do suck at delivering. Who owns them? Bozo? Their CEO must be a complete moron.
Tip for consumers:
Not a good company for shipping. You would do better using the USPS.

I order Daily Harvest food and for whatever reason they use this company to deliver their perishable food, and since OnTrac can never deliver on time my food always spoils so they don't deliver it. It's either that or that's just what they say but actually take the food for themselves...
This is by far the WORST carrier to ever use for delivering shipments. Never you use them. They keep on lying that they attempted delivering and no one was home even when I was sitting in front of my house the whole day waiting for them. I was sitting on the steps and received a message that they attempted to deliver but the front door needed an access code. These criminals should be behind bars. How I wish -5 stars was an option.
The delivery person won't deliver to my actual address but leaves packages in my neighbours yard. They also usually do this after dark, so the packages are out over night. I have reduced ordering from Walmart because of this issue but now Sams Club is also using them for deliveries. When I pay for delivery I expect it to be delivered to my address, not have to collect it from a neighbour.
These people are absolutely unreliable and extremely disrespectful. They have been days late constantly for every package they're supposed to deliver. And not only that, but they have damaged packagings, shipped to completely wrong addresses, or just lost the package. We were told a package was delivered to our house but it was absolutely nowhere to be found. We checked our ring cameras and everything and they didn't even deliver to anywhere on the whole entire street! Then when contacting customer service, they made it clear they had no intention to search or track the shipment and refused to resend a new one and didn't even offer a full refund of all that we spent. Which was 60 dollars plus shipping! Avoid this company at all costs. They're unreliable and lazy.
15 years ago I had the misfortune of using this service. I never got that package. Now years later they still do the same thing. I ordered something online and sadly for me it's ONTRAC they use. Of course, my package is gone again. Don't use ONTRAC if you want your package to get from point A to point B. It goes from point A to where? The dump? Drivers homes? The side of the road? You will die not knowing where your package went. They say they've improved their service...it seems they are better at covering their tracks. They don't care about customer service. In fact, try to contact customer service and you'll get the run around. There's nobody there. They take your money and your package! Thanks, I didn't deserve to get my own package.
OnTrac is the worst. Amazon uses them occasionally and I've complained to them about the fact that they frequently mark the package as "Delivered" when it hasn't been, this has happened almost every time I've received a package through OnTrac... and it's not like it shows up the next day either; this last package, which came today, showed (through the Amazon website via OnTrac's tracking number) as having been delivered 6 days ago, the text message I have indicates it was delivered 5 days ago... and it's not like the package was shipped across the country either, it came from a city in my state that is a 3 hour drive away.
My hope is that Amazon stops using them and until they do, I will make a complaint with Amazon every time this happens.
My items were supposed to be delivered within 3-7 days. On the 8th day I received a notification that my package was delivered. Nothing at my door or mailbox. The picture shows they delivered it to someone's house. I live in an apartment with an apartment number. I have contacted customer service via email and have yet to receive a response.
Do not use this carrier they messed up on two package they packet had about 5 item in they went to the wrong address then did not try to deliver my packages and send it back which, they put on it I refuse my package they are not a good carrier I wish they shut down business
Apparently the company didn't teach they delivery drivers to check for back patio instead of leaving a package at the front door of the apartment complex knowing it can easily get stolen I did not receive my package and they did not want to refund the money because of they delivery driver.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use this company

Nothing I didn't receive my package because the driver left it at the front door, and I live in an apartment complex.
Absolutely the worst delivery company ever. My package was out for delivery at 11:30am. They "attempted" to deliver at 10:20 pm but didn't because of security concerns. Why would you try and deliver that late in the first place. Ridiculous! They don't even deserve 1 star
Horrible…packages ordered same date and shipped 500+ miles to now stall for 6 days 20 miles away. Won't even let me come pick them up. Not only do they suck told vendor I would never buy from them again if they continue using this company. This is not my first go around with OnTrac. They need a rebranding and overhaul cause nothing has been good…can't even give no star which is what they deserve. Their chat on line does not even work have to call and either wait or leave your name for call back. Customer service is of no help.

Repeated lost packages to my address, starting about 4 years ago. They never delivered one single package since then, despite marked as "delivered." I bought from Mango, Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Etsy, and Amazon…all the same…as long as Ontrac is used. When complaints are made and packages resent, the same has happened. There must be collusion between the driver and management for this to happen repeatedly with no resolution. I am looking into complaining with BBB or the courts. Wonder if a civil lawsuit could happen!
Tip for consumers:
I make complaints directly to Ontrac, as well as the company I bought the items.
I am planning to complain to BBB and look into a civil class lawsuit
OnTrac is the worst delivery service. Lazy driver leaves packages at end of driveway for me and my neighbor where we both have covered entrances. It rained later that day. Couldn't drive up driveway to complete delivery?
Vehicle's license plate was TUL868, location is Quince Ct, Valley Center, CA

Ordered from Ulta and my package has been sitting in the Ontrac warehouse in my city for 10 days! I finally got ahold of someone in customer service (after nearly an hour on hold) and was told if it couldn't be delivered the next day someone would call me to schedule a pick up. Nobody called, still don't have the package and it's almost Christmas. Merchants, please stop using this shipper.
How is this place even legal? They have kept every package of mine that went through their Georgetown Texas warehouse. They scan it and hold it for weeks. Then after enough complaining they say it's lost and to get compensated by the shipper. If they have zero repercussions why wouldn't they keep stealing packages?
Tip for consumers:
I’d like to know how packages make it all the way overseas successfully then every single time manage to be lost at the Ontrac Georgetown warehouse 20 min from my house. They track the packages daily and hold them. Then pronounce them lost and they don’t lose a penny. Just gain all these “lost” package contents.

Ontrac is incapable of successfully delivering packages so I never receive any products
... tossed on front porch and both items inside were crushed!
So to summarize, it took 5+ days to travel across the city with the added bonus of my order being damaged... wow! Even if I hadn't been disappointed by OnTrac's service is the past, this certainly would not have swayed me in their favour!

It was a delivery service that was selected by WalMart . . . I would NEVER choose OnTrac!!
I have been waiting for a delivery from Litchfield Park (west of Phoenix) to Mesa (east of Phoenix) for OVER 6 days now. It was scanned in to Buckeye, AZ at 4:16 pm last Thursday & made its way to their Phoenix facility by 6 the next morning, where it sat for the weekend! This morning (Monday), it was put on a truck for delivery to Mesa at 8:07 a.m... and here I am still waiting at 8:37 p.m.!
This is not an isolated incident... for several years, I have suffered with delays to both my business & my home every time OnTrac is used as the delivery method.
If I am ever given a choice of delivery method, I will choose ANYTHING (yes, even dog sled!) over OnTrac!
And after reading just a few of the over 600 NEGATIVE (1 star only) reviews on here, I can't help but wonder how the heck are they staying in business?

This was a delivery service selected by a seller. I had no option.
First delivery date given was 7/25 then their BOT updated everyday through 7/29 for the next day. I called OnTrac and apparently the BOT sends a message at 6pm if packages are not scanned out for delivery. It was suggested I place a hold and pickup with the warehouse, yet there's no scan they even have it. The warehouse is a good 40 minutes one-way for me. What a great concept for a shipping company, get the customer to do it like a self checkout at the grocery store. Just canceling my order with Bed, Bath and Beyond... they can eat this and maybe select a more competent vendor going forward. Sorry can't give zero stars.
When I see ontrac has been assigned to deliver my order I know I'm not seeing it. Out of 10 packages, 8 never arrived. They generally mark delivered by dont. Idk what they're doing with them. I mean that large amount of lost packages makes you think something shady is going on. I also have a security camera so I can guarantee they did not come.
Nordstrom order shipped to an office building. Should be secure and easy, right? Well, the courier for On Trac left the package by the elevators. Apparently walking 10 yards to the ACTUAL suite was too difficult and onerous. Once again, Nordstrom falls short due to their reliance on crap third-party contractors for delivery. I predict the popularity of online shopping will begin to taper off as consumers realize the companies they order from are making so much money that they can write off all of these failed / stolen / ahem, misappropriated packages as losses and still remain profitable.
Had a 10 lbs box of pet food delivered from Chewy.com. Even though there is about 10 square feet of space around my door, the delivery scumbag dropped the package in my flowerbed. This was done deliberately. Called chewy. Com to complain. Also filing a complaint with Ontrac. Informed by Chewy.com that they are firing this company due to many complaints. Good riddance.
Two companies that I order from regularly use OnTrac. I've had so many problems with them, including leaving a package containing food items out in the hot sun on my asphalt driveway when two more steps would have had it in the shade on my front porch, to deliveries made after 9 pm without ringing my doorbell so the packages sat outside all night. This time, a delivery was supposed to be made on Dec 10. It has been delayed every single day for 6 days, sitting where, in a warehouse or in a truck? I can't find out because I cannot get through on the phone. What's worse is that another order made several days later from a different vendor was delivered by OnTrac in 2 days - why couldn't they deliver my other package at the same time? I've told the companies I order from that I will stop ordering from them if they continue using OnTrac. They're horrible.
