I purchased two shirts, size XL on line. They fit well in the shoulders and arms but were huge in the body so I went on line to begin a return. Became annoyed I had to pay for the return and then more annoyed I had to pay $6.95 for each shirt I wanted to return. I wrote to customer service and received a condescending email back from Ed, which is attached. Pay for shipping and pay for returns and pay north of $100 for shirts and the customer is always wrong. That's Orvis!
I have been a customer of Orvis for many years. Things happen and there have been a few issues I have had over the years but their service agents were extremely helpful and knowledgeable they went above and beyond to make me feel valued and resolve my issues to my full satisfaction. For example last week I made a purchase and there was a mix up in the warehouse, I received someone else's order. Orvis overnighted my replacement and even sent me a gift card for my trouble.
I emailed my brother a gift certificate Saturday and my sister sent my brother a gift certificate Friday at 4; 42 pm. Orvis' website states an emailed gift certificate would be received by recipient within 2 hours. However, I was told both certificates would arrive Monday. This is unacceptable, and deceitful marketing by vendor. Fraud. I want answers.
I wish I could give a 0. I was an employee for 7 years had to go on FMLA and they kicked me out with any little excuse! They accused me of sexual harassment on the most perverted employee they had I even had witness and the guy still stayed and I was let go. I worked my $#*! off everyday! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING THEIR CLOTHING ITS ALL CHEAP AND COMES FROM CHINA! I was in quality when I was terminated. I saw the most cheapest $#*! ever!
Instead of replacing defective product they told me the item wasn't available and sent me a check? The item in the correct size and color is at a local store. Customer retention not a priority!
Had jacket for 6 months poorly made Orvis say I sat on it BS. I expected better from Orvis it's junk.
Answer: Very easy. Their live chat seems to always have a live agent available. I have chatted with them many times between 6 am and after midnight. They respond to emails pretty quickly as well
