Maybe its my age but im still one of these people that are a bit sceptical and reluctant to hand my credit card details out on the internet. Unfortunately online dating is pretty much a non starter if you dont do this, so I read a lot of reviews and do a lot of checking before I choose an online dating site. So far the only sites that have passed my test are this one (ourtime) and primetimelove.com (ive done some reviews on that site before you should be able to find, its 9/10 in my book, really has everything you need). For this one I had no concerns about paying for the 6 months as its a well known brand with a lot of reviews and even if there are quite a lot of negative points, having your money pinched is not one of them. Its a good site, not the best ive tried but ive met some nice people on the site and even gone on a date. For me its 8/10 and worth a try if youre looking for a site you can pay for that you wont lose sleep over.
OurTime is a complete "waste of Time". Its logarithm pays NO ATTENTION to your preferences so don't bother... not age, nor distance, or any other important exclusion. You can not get rid of individuals even if you block them.
This site is stupid and a waste of money when your subscription is about to expire you will see local adds but they are not current with paying members once you sign paid or not they will continue to shop your profile but in some cases those profile are of people that are dead
Despite my initial skepticism, this online dating malarkey isnt so bad. I use this site and also primetimelove and must say its living up to the (considerable) hype so far. Worth a bash, after all why should the kids have all the fun?
I have been very happy with Ourtime, and it's older sister site - SeniorPeopleMeet. I have tried most all of the prominent sites, and have found this one to be in the top 3 or 4. It is a paid site, so you cheapskates who just want to troll for free won't like it. But I have met some very nice women on this site. And you can join one of them and get access to both - two for the price of one. Now that's a deal.
I have a profile that has two sentences about me, no photo and no subscription. I've clicked on a few profiles and "flirted" with a few. Now I have 37 incoming flirts, 3 incoming favorites and 152 incoming messages. How can this possibly be?
This *looks* like a site that's putting fake messages, fake flirts and fake favorites on my profile in order to try to tempt me to spend money with them.
I'd like to get one of those throwaway visa cards in order to join for a month to see what's going on but $30-$40 is way too expensive for a site that should be free.
I have zero confidence in this site and will not be spending money on it.
I paid for OurTime in February. With four months left, I was hacked three times. My picture was removed and replaced with the picture of another, my password was changed and I fear my credit card information was stolen. I tried calling, e-mailing and writing to no avail. I was on the phone this week for over 8 hours, and finally gave up and cancelled my account with no reimbursement.
OurTime has terrible internet security, and does not protect your identity. This is a truly terrible company. Do not trust your personal information with OurTime.
Another site where you have to pay. You can't read any messages you receive unless you pay $19.99 a month. You can see who viewed you and view their profile and pics but can't message them without paying. It's annoying that every time you click 'view who flirted with you' it goes to the payment page.
I've never encountered such terrible matches on any site. My real complaint is that I specifically asked to NOT be on an auto-renew for my membership. I even canceled it before it could be renewed. Sure enough, they billed me for another $71.88! Of course, it also took 14 days to get returned to my checking account, this causing me to Have an ODC. I made them aware of this over 2 weeks earlier when they charged me without my permission. I have the $71.88 but have not been given back the $34. ODC although I sent them a copy of it from my bank, showing that their actions caused it. What a terrible situation and headache to go through. DO not do business with them!
My profile was automatically shown on match.com, which I was not at all aware of. Met people who had never heard of ourtime.com, and I believed they were members of ourtime.com. Weird. After I had finished my subscription they claimed that I had activated it again. Without any proof for that, they just took money from my credit card again. Not trustworthy!
Answer: Not sure what you mean by the shaded areas. But never mind, I agree with Alex H, don't get involved with them, they are just after your money. The reply rate is extremely low and the site is full of fake profiles. You will just lose your time with it ( like I did and I regret it). It's important to find a legit site, the site that should suit you best and I found mine: https://j4l.com/402007 It's 100% legit and valid and they don't resort to bots and fakes. I met my girlfriend through them so I know it's a working site!
Answer: They are charging me and I cannot get on this site, I want a refund as I have not been able to use this site,
