Do not show anyone near, within 70 miles, of where you live or are located. Waste of time and money, and not even close to matching your request. Total rip off.
I love this site! I have been on many sites and have met a few good guys but none wanting a real relationship I'm 42 and wanted something real. I moved to fl last yr decided to give this site a chance best decision ever! After only a one day on there I started talking a guy who was older so I gave I a chance went out an we have been together ever so nice our first date! The "Hack" was an internal issue and they refuse to take ANY responsibility for their careless and reckless technology or error. YOUR information is NOT SAFE with Our Time, or whoever they call their overseas business name. I have cancelled my account and suggest ANYONE else registered with OT does the same!
This site has no positives, it is full of Scammers who have had their photo's scanned and posted and it is not them. Unfortunately it would seem that a photograph is taken and Our time personal then write the review and messages, do not be fooled STAY WELL AWAY, or you will be disappointed and let down!
I have been at this site on and off for over a year. When my subscription expires this time I will not be back. I am a 76 year old male and finding a female in my age demographic is like winning a powerball lottery. Odds are about 1 in 2oo million against.
I have viewed thousands of women. Seldom do I see a woman in my age demographic, and when I do odds are she will be miles and miles away from my home. Usually on the order of 50-100, but oftan hundreds of miles away. Serously, who is lookinjg to date someone hundreds of miles away?
Our Time does not attempt to pair up members based on proximity. Rather Our Time just shows every woman on the site. All ages, all races, every state. It is no wonder their ranking among dating sites is so low. Unless one lives in a major city where there are apy to be many members one isn't likely to meet a dating prospect within reasonable driving distance, unless you consider 50-100 miles reasonable.
I don't know if women experience the same situation as males, but I expect they do.
I agree with Jon C completely. And if you go to other review sites that have a lot of comments on them about Our Time (like Disqus) there are LOTS OF COMPLAINTS about how the site will overcharge your card etc... I recommend staying away from them. I recommend that you read the reviews of the site in more depth before giving OT your credit card information.
Chat is terrible, the people are from across the country, no one ever chats back because it's too hard. I wish I could get my money back. Lots of e mails telling me I gotta a message when I don't!
