At first I was reluctant to order my book because of many reasons. But, my expectations were surpassed and my fears are taken away. My book came out as I had custom-made it! I love Photobook!

AWFUL, STAY AWAY!

Simply awful in every way. For starters, Photobook Canada has NOTHING to do with Canada. They are based in Malaysia and when I reached out, they said they wanted to get Canadians to buy their products so came up with the idea to create the name Photobook Canada and included an Ontario address in their contact page (basically to trick them into purchasing from them). Nowhere on their site do they mention Malaysia in any way. They said they have done this with many countries as well, which makes me sick to my stomach as they are clearly okay with duping innocent consumers worldwide.

I only realized this when I got a notice for a customs bill. I was surprised to receive this bill as I thought I was purchasing from a domestic/local company, something I always check when shopping online, so I reached out. That is when they told me they are not in Canada but in Malaysia and they created this site and company name to get Canadians to buy from them. I told them that had I known, I would never have purchased any products from them as I'm not spending $20+ on customs for 3 calendars worth $40 that I can easily have done within Canada.

I requested a refund as I was deceived and misled to make this purchase and no longer want their services, and they refused. Further to my frustration, they charge shipping fees PER item you order, even if the items are all in the same order and going to the SAME ADDRESS.

So for 3 calendars worth $40, they charged $29 in shipping (3 separate shipping fees), then you get a surprise $21 customs bill. $50 in shipping and customs for $40 worth of items! The only thing they said they can offer is a store credit in the amount of just the customs bill. They think I want a store credit for their deceptive company and spend another outrageous amount in shipping and customs? Are they out of their minds? I'm just speechless after dealing with them and am completely disgusted at these kind of businesses that are just total scum and have no integrity or soul.
