Purchased play cards from Walmart. Every time I have to wait days for them to review the receipt, and eventually I get what I paid for. Which is bad enough.

Not this time. All I get is a response saying that they won't help me. Save your money, go with apple or something. Google gets away with robbing people.

I used to have a device that worked with this, that one broke. NONE of my ones now, work. NONE of them. They're all "unsupported." ALL. OF. THEM.

Total garbage don't waste your money. My upgrade originally said 49.99 and was charged 99.99 and they refuse to refund me. Installed less then 24 hours

I have been having negative experiences with games which claim to pay cash which I downloaded and saw advertised on games that I downloaded from Google play,
The short of the matter is,, outside of the twelve hours per app it takes for users like me to learn that the apps don't pay out and the advertising is false, Google become an instrument for these losses of time, huge let downs and false advertising because they don't require or seek truth about these games or claims independent of what the developers or other game reps tell them, nor does Google play require their services be delivered within a reasonable time.
The app mentioned here is called Fantasy Blast., it was downloaded on Google play.The problem is I won $1,000 dollars on this app which was promised to me if I watched 30 more videos (which are primarily advertisement for other games and one repaet ad for credit Karma) and waited five hours I watched the videos and waited five hours only to be told I had to wait an additional 49 hours and watch fifty more videos without stopping...
In short Google needs to protect it's consumers from predators making false claims about their products and services by initiating a review of their products before or after complaints or negative reviews are made against them and eliminate their products from the Google play store if they are found to be rooted in creating false expectations for consumers.

I had a Google Play account for Kahoot. I contacted Kahoot and canceled that account. Two months later Google Play billed me for it and now they won't refund my money. I even have an email from Kahoot.

I bought 2 fitbits through google play-they came with 6 months free premium subscription. But google play took $14.99 after just 3 months and are refusing to refund. Just as well I noticed early or it would of been more. They are thieves. BTW a 1 star review because 0 is not available, shocking service.

They steal your hard earned money, they get your money, but don't keep their part up. I'll never buy another google card again. Very unhappy, you don't even deserve 1 star

Stay away... robbed of 120 quid with no explanation... shocking company! Bought a card x 2 occasions that wouldn't work get a no reply email basically stating my concern is not eligible for appeal. No explanation

Don't play any games they are all scan on google play I try for 1 month and they're only good of taking money.

I bought two $50 Google Play gift cards. The first one I bought I went to redeem, and it said that I had to redeem it in the country that I bought it in. I live in the United states, I bought it in the United states, I went to use it in the United states. I argued with Google about this and I had to send in a receipt and a copy of the card. I figured it would be a couple days, so I went and bought another $50 card at a different store. Again, in the United States. And the same results. It would not let me redeem it because it said I had to use it in the country that I bought it in. I sent receipt and copy of the card to Google over and over again and they refused to honor it. Now I am out $100 and they have $100 of my money. And they refuse to make good on it. I will not be buying Google cards again for any reason. It is a buyer beware sort of thing when you buy from Google that's all I can say!

I was being charged for a subscription that I contacted In-App customer service to cancel, but Google Play would not help me with this. They directed me back to the developer of the app and said it is at their discretion. I have proof that I asked the developer about cancelling a subscription from 5-17-2021 and they continued to charge me until Jan 2022. I also have proof that I reached out again and they told me that Google Play would have to issue the refund. I am just irritated with both Google Play and the app, I quit playing the game in April 2021 and asked to cancel once I saw I was charged in May.

I bought a Google play card at Walmart for 50 dollars at Walmart. Google play scanned the card and said it was invalid. They or Walmart would not return my money. I am out 50 bucks. I spend at least a thousand on those gift cards every year for the grandkids but this is the last penny I ever spend on Google play cards.

Google play takes people money as a 3rd party for developers app, Then when your account on the app get hacked and then Ban, They don't do nothing about... Even when the developers of the app don't contact the customer back. They just take people money and don't worry about the customers account. For Example The Grand Mafia

I had purchased Google Play gift cards in $10 increments for my husband in the past. He always peeled off the label to get the activation code. For his birthday, I got him a $25 one. He tried to peel the label off, but it needed to be scratched off and by that time was unreadable. Even though I had the receipt, the activation receipt and photos of the front and back of the gift card, and over a month of stringing me along, they refused to provide a refund or send me a new card. I will NEVER buy another gift card from them again.

We only use google play once in a while to download books for my husband on our tablet. I wanted to download some books for him for an upcoming trip and bought a $25 google play card at our local store to pay for it. I went to download the card within just an hour of buying it and got an error message that said "we need more information, please click here". When I do that it said I have to fill out a form and submit pictures of my card and receipt which I did. I also tried calling the phone number on the back of the card but due to being short staffed, they have not live customer service to help you have to do everything on line. Well after a couple days of waiting I got my response. I got a short letter that simply said your appeal request is denied. WTF! NO reason, nothing, just "denied." So now I am out the hard earned money I spent because their system is screwed up and there is 0 customer support. I will NEVER buy anything with them again. Sad a company has to treat people this way.
