Several times google has time and time again taken away my purchases, deleting my and stealing my content(s). For example, music and movies I have purchased off of their store. They have no archive of my purchase history and ask me to locate it myself or send them a bank statement from 7 yrs ago. Why am I doing their work? DO NOT PURCHASE FROM GOOGLE! You have been warned.

SO THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE THE (CREDIT CARD OR PAYPAL ACCOUNT) ON FILE WITH THE (GOOGLE PLAY STORE)... CUSTOMERS NEED TO (CANCEL ALL PAYMENT METHODS) WITHIN THE (GOOGLE PLAY STORE) TO (STOP!) Almost all songs are represented. Not the most intuitive design, but overall I am using it for a while and don't want to change anything.
I too got scammed by someone regarding the Google Play cards. Someone pretended he was my boss and asked me to go and get $500 in google play cards. The scammer quickly downloaded the cards. Google Play is not secure, they know the issues and do not help at all. They quickly point out they have a clause regarding fraud and the customer is the one on the hook - they will not refund nor block the cards and say they have no way to track which person's google play account downloaded the cards (that information would be helpful for the RCMP). These are extremely unsecure cards - they do not value the people and are not protecting any of us. They simply need to add a feature to track down which account downloaded it so that in the future, when this happens again, and it will - they can take the funds back from said account of the scammer. I am now out $500 and it feels just horrible to be scammed. I will never purchase the unsecure cards in the future and feel horrible for the next victims related to google play.
My wife discovered that someone spent over 1400£ on coins for a game downloaded from Google play. We don't know who was but perhaps a child. We asked for a refund within 48 hours but Google replied it's against their policy and we should contact the developer. The developer in their website says purchases are normally not refundable. That can be legal but certainly isn't fair
As a result of fraud, I had to deposit $1500 in Google Play which their representatives told me I could get back. Now they're telling me it is against their policy. I asked them at least transfer my balance to Google Store so I could buy an imac or something that is worth $1500. Still, they repeat it is company policy and they cannot transfer. There is nothing in Google Play that I can buy with $1500. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
Too bad I can't give zero stars. I had a credit in my account that disappeared. Trying to call Google Play customer service is like talking to a wall. First, you can barely understand them. Then after a full 15 minutes (no exaggeration) of them "authenticating" my account, they tell me that my credit expired. WHAT? Then, trying to get a supervisor on the phone is impossible. They tell you someone will call back (total lie). By far the most frustrating customer (non) service experience I've ever had. They are so many great subscription services. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu... I'm a happy subscriber to all of them. GOOGLE PLAY ABSOLUTELY SUCKS! Don't waste your time or money

I purchased a gift Google play card and they refuse to credit my account with th 15$ after spending hours on the phone with support and sending MULTIPLE copies of the card and receipt. They are now demanding I input my credit card or debit into my account in order to get the balance of the gift card. I am now forced to go through the process of consumer protection agency in order to get my 15$ or refund. Already has been a complete waste of my time. Never had this problem with ITunes. Imo if you have the option between Google play cards or ITunes, go with ITunes all the way! Easier and hassle free! Take my word for it and NEVER waste a penny on a Google play card!
For over 10 months Google charges me $4.99 to $10.99 a month. Sometimes twice a month. I can not use my debit card on my Google account but someone I don't know can. I tried many times to get this fixed but can't. I even tried getting a new card but it cost $50 which I do not have because Google is letting a stranger take my money. I just want them to remove my card from the other account or accounts that are not mine. It's been over 10 months trying to get them to stop charging me for other people's Google accounts.

I don't know why they allow any trash like copypasted clones of "clash of clans" stuff. It's so annoying and hard to find really interesting and useful content. Please, clean that pile of garbage.
The service is great and always was great. The only thing - you do the reasearch and stay happy, as the previous reviews say - there are every single app issued for the devices so thus a very high percentage of those made to only get some money without anything great of user experience.
