Poor Customer Service

We purchased a Dolphin Triton with PowerStream Robotic Pool Cleaner from PoolZoom on July 24,2017, Order #*******645. We received the Triton Robotic Pool Cleaner on July 27,2017. The next day we used the Triton Robotic Pool Cleaner for the first time. It does not clean our 14,000 gal fiberglass pool, especially in the shallow end of the pool that is 3 ft deep. At this end of the pool, the Triton appears to blow the dirt up on the pool steps, which are not cleaned, and into the corners of the pool, where the dirt remains. Also, the cable was tangled. It defeats the purpose of having a robotic cleaner if we still need to clean the pool manually. We do like the ease of cleaning the collection cage in the Triton which is pulled from the top of the pool cleaner.
On July 31,2017, I contracted PoolZoom and talked to Alex. I explained to Alex the shortcomings listed above. We exchanged several ideas on the Triton Pool cleaner issues, which did not appear to be malfunctions. I asked about exchanging the Triton for another Dolphin Pool Cleaner during our conversation. Alex recommended contacting Maytronics to see if there is any trouble shooting that can be performed. If not to call him back and we will work out a solution.
I immediately contacted Maytronics and discussed the issues with the Triton with Power PowerStream Robotic Pool Cleaner. Maytronics did not believe there were any malfunctions with this pool cleaner and advised calling PoolZoom back to discuss an exchange. I called PoolZoom and talked to Karen. I explained to Karen that I had talked to Alex who stated that I call back to discuss an exchange of the Dolphin Triton Robotic Pool Cleaner. Karen stated Alex was not available and PoolZoom does not allow any exchanges once the equipment has been used. This does not make sense. How do you know if the equipment works without using it? I asked for Karen to wait and discuss with Alex when he returned. Karen stated she would do that and return my call within 1 hour. I believed Karen would call me back, but it is now several weeks later and I have not received a call from PoolZoom.
PoolZoom has demonstrated very poor customer support.

I would not purchase any product from PoolZoom if you need to use that product before knowing if it works or not.
