I have been a long time buyer from Pot of Gold until now. But not any more after this incident.
I bought a single long gun of which their shipper tried to charge me over $175 to ship from AZ to VT. I ship firearms all the time and ship coast to coast for about $45 or less. Pot of Gold told me they were getting someone else to handle their shipping but only got their shipper WestSide Mail Center to drop that $60 to $115.79.
That was three weeks after I had paid for the auction. Now a week and a half later their shipper hasn't even brought it to FedEx. As a business owner I realize my reputation is based on how I do things and on how well I choose those who do things for me. I would give both companies an F at this point. Purchased long gun from auction.
I lost a lot on money on fine weapons that I allowed them to sell. 3 of them I changed my mind and wanted to take them out and was told I wasn't alowed too. They were also vague on explaining the buyers and sellers fees when I was there. I would never go back, the secong time is my fault
