This dealership has vehicles for a fair price. We just got our car so I can't comment on the quality long term but so far it runs great. However the hospitality and customer service was terrible. We were coming from out of town so I talked on the phone with the owner the day before who said to give a call when leaving town and someone will be ready for us, even if it was after hours. There was a big storm and so we got there a half our later than planned, but had called on route to explain we would be late. The manger said he would not be there but a sales person would help us. When we got to the dealership the sales person was incredibly rude. If they didn't have the ideal car for us I would have walked out. He yelled at us saying that they close at 6pm and he has a family and things he wants to do. I was so shocked I couldn't explain I spoke with the owner on the phone about the later time. Clearly there is a severe lack of communication. The salesperson grumbled when we asked to take it for a test drive. Luckily everything was great on the test drive. When we returned to the dealership the salesperson continued to be very rude. We had some questions and he used derogatory language and harsh tone when answering. Additionally paperwork is sloppy causing significant issues for registration. Lastly the gas tank was left empty. The owner eventually showed, thanked us for our business and asked for a 5 star review. I won't be recommending this dealership to friends and I absolutely will not be giving a 5 star review. It was nice the car came with 6 months power train warranty but because of the sloppy paperwork process, and horrible customer service I am highly doubtful it will be helpful if we never need to use it. 2 stars only because they happened to have a good vehicle for a fair price on their lot and so far it seems to be working out.
My experience with prime was frustrating & very disappointing! First I found the salesperson to be unprofessional, telling sleazy inappropriate jokes! I did buy an suv as I believed the price was reasonable. Agreed to pick up our purchase in a weeks time. Upon arrival, we found the vehicle was not ready! It was brought out wet into a very dusty environment! Before leaving the lot the engine light comes on! The salesperson gets the mechanic to take vehicle into the shop while we wait! The engine light was cleared but leaves us with serious concerns, as no explanation was given? We took our suv home & left it in the garage for a week! Went to use it for a trip, but it wouldn't start? Through exploration we discovered the battery was cracked & had been for quite some time by mechanics inspection! This leads me to believe the inspection paperwork is not to be trusted! I hadn't recieved my 6 month warranty from prime after repeated calls & requests! I thought it prudent to have this before I informed them of the cracked battery. After months of waiting for my warranty I inform them about the battery and show them the receipt with date purchased believing I should be reimbursed for the cost! I drove there to show Peter the new battery & receipt! I was told I waited too long! He wouldn't even look at the new battery! I was told the owner would be informed & a decision would be made? Never heard back from them! Other issues & deficiencies were found in months following our purchase! My thought is once they have your money you're out of luck! Not at all impressed with prime! Perhaps the owner was never informed of my issues since I was never even contacted?
