Tl; dr - I'm not one to write reviews often but my experience with Projector People can be summarized as uncaring and incompetent and definitely NOT worth your time. Ordered a HU80KA LG 4K Laser projector with "guaranteed" 3-days shipping, it came 30 days later!
I reached out to Projector People multiple times that month specifically to my sales rep Sarah Buss-Fonk via phone and email. Not only was she unapologetic for the delay and kept saying it was coming in just 3-more days (untrue), when I asked for a tracking number she gave me one for an accessory that came with it instead. When the projector again didn't come after an additional week's delay, Sarah acknowledged Projector People still hadn't shipped the projector in the first place!
Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, Sarah tried to blame the manufacturer of the projector and recommended I call them to complain (and in the process named the WRONG manufacturer over email proving she wasn't paying any attention). When I explained it wasn't the manufacturer, but Projector People who guaranteed 3-day shipping, she claimed that I "could have cancelled the order at any time" and stopped responding to my calls/emails altogether asking for a refund or a discount.
I called Projector People asking for a manager to call me back. No manager would talk to me and no one at Projector People attempted to call me. Instead, when I called in I was directed to voice mails that were never returned. Finally, I had to ask a poor secretary for a manager's email and put the manager on the month-long email thread with Sarah showing weeks without any response and multiple instances of Sarah telling me it has shipped when it hadn't. Only then did the manager acknowledge my request to return the unopened projector that came a month late and get a refund.
2 stars instead of 1 because once I did get approval for a refund, it was done quickly.
In summary, Projector People sales reps and management were unresponsive and cowardly, hoping I would just give up and take a projector that should have come in 3-days in a month. It took many calls and emails to even get a refund for an unopened, returned projector. Small companies like this have to have good customer service. I could have gotten the projector for the same price on Amazon Prime with included 2-day shipping. Don't shop at Projector People, it is made up of people who don't care about customers.

Ordered an Epson projector from them on 10/11/2015. Credit card was charged instantly. Their site showed the item as "In stock - ships within 24 hours". 3 days later, still no shipment ackowledgement. I emailed their customer service and got "I'm sorry, the product is not in stock due to high demand, but we placed the order with Epson to have shipped direct to you and you should have within a week". Week and a half later, still nothing. Check ProjectorPeople.com website and it shows "In stock - ships within 24 hours". I email asking if mine has shipped? Response "We received in about 5 units last week but Epson was supposed to ship yours direct to you. Epson didn't ship your order yet. They are telling me now Mid-November.".

The same day I posted the above review I was contacted and assured the projector would be overnighted to me. It is the following day and I did receive the projector as promised.
