Got banned on RealGM for posting "sexist" topic on the lack of interest in women's pro sports, but they left open someone else's thread mocking the WNBA. They also insisted I was a man. I offered proof several times showing them I'm a woman, but they refused to accept it. Not a well-run forum.
This used to be a quality site. I was a user of the site for years. I enjoyed basketball debates and discussions on the general basketball forums and the forum of my favorite team. I also enjoyed the various off topic forums, but the quality of posters and discussion on these forums has been in decline for years now. I'm not quite sure why, but the overall quality of posters throughout the site has been in a steady state of decline as well. Posters will always move on, except too many good posters moved on and were replaced by lesser ones. Again, I'm not sure why. Evidently the site has just lost its luster to many potential high quality posters. If the site didn't have a few unique features related to basketball, this site would be in a free fall instead of just hanging around as it is now as a less than interesting place to hang around online.
I mostly enjoy this board, but the global moderator Magnumt on the general board is on a serious power trip. He will troll other posters, then ban them when they respond. Then he will ban subsequent posters for calling out his misuse of power. Then he will lock the thread to bury it because he looks bad. I usually side with moderators because it can be a tough job, but this guy has a Napoleon complex. Be careful what you say to him.
Update: Several other moderators noticed the infraction, rescinded my ban, and leveled a formal complaint against Magnumt. I appreciate the swift and professional response by the admin of this board.
Duffman100 is a moderator on the Raptors board, he is nothing more than a lowlife who only wants people who agree with him heard. Try to contradict him and he will start issuing warnings and bans. Thin skinned moderators like him on power trips are the reason why this website is turning into an echo chamber where only those agreeing with the moderators are heard.
Great site to check out the latest NBA news. Each forum is moderated by a couple of people so there aren't spam threads or people. The layout could use some sprucing up, but over its a great site.
Howard Mass is a terrible Admin for this company. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Would never recommend doing any business with this company.
Moderators are bullies who abuse their power to harass posters. Verbal abuse, insults, lies, punishment.
