Opcity and upnest are Realtor.com Lead service products sold to Realtors. They send you a lead and then you and YOUR BROKERAGE (so all agents in your brokerage) have to pay them for the next 2 years for that lead or anyone that lead knows. Its a HUGE problem since an agent at a brokerage could get a lead and not get that lead engaged - and then one month or 14 months down the line a different agent at that brokerage could get that same lead organically or from a lead service and Realtor.com will demand payment regardless of any proof you can give no exceptions. Avoid at all cost
I worked with Trisha Barry – an excellent agent. She listed my place in townhouse and we were on contract in 3 days, above the asking price. She is an excellent negotiator with a very personalized touch. Highly recommended!
Tamara Nicholson was the best realtor we have ever worked with. She spent over three hours with us on our first meeting before we even signed on with her. She was available 24/7 and went out of her way to make selling our home a pleasant experience. Tamara provided us with continual feedback and sold our house in a timely manner. She is professional, conscientious and compassionate. I highly recommend her services to everyone I meet.
I have cash to purchase property-the full price its selling for. $5755. This land must not be worth enough to be worth Blanca (realtor/agent) time. Nor her broker (Alan). It sees as though there is not enough profit involved. She said she will no longer be able to help me because she's not feeling well, and her broker is to busy to help me! I have cash and am unable to purchase land. If possible I recommend researching who the property owner is and if at all possible cut out the middleman. Also it will save you more than $1000
I have worked with several different agents in the past and decided to go with Lisa and Dion Hocking from a friends recommendation. I am so glad I did. They were there every step of the way; before the sale, during the sale and after the sale. They always had my back and kept me updated every step of the way. This was in regards to the selling of my home and the buying of another home. If you are looking for a realtor who you can trust, I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.
I started using realtor.com to search for homes in an area I am considering for relocation. It's no longer possible to move between the pages of saved homes, most of the time I am unable to move between my account and search features without getting a "Sorry, technical difficulties" screen. I had one response from customer service a month ago, assuring me that it was a known issue and developers were working to fix the problem, but it's not been fixed to date. I have had to look at each listing in my saved homes and search for them on Zillow so that I can save them for future reference. This website has great search features and filters, and I loved the option of being able to record notes on the respective properties, but it's not worth the headache. What a huge disappointment.
Recent changes to Realtor.com are horrendous and not at all user friendly. Please return to original state.
Please note that I was required to give an overall rating... the new upgrades are not even worthy of one star, IMO and I have been a user of Realtor for more than 15 years.
I was referred from my friend Janice Burke from Exit Realty in Hoffman Estates Il-She made the process of buying and selling easy. Very pleasant to work with and available anytime to show me houses. I was able to buy a great house with her help. Very good experience
Do not use realtor.com! Leads are horrible! I really think the leads are fake.
I would call immediately when i received a lead it would go directly to a voice mail with no name.
Never received emails back or text, nothing! When I would contact realtor.com to complain they would always have some kind of excuse. Wish I had read all these reviews before I signed up.
Realtor.com tells me I'm getting leads over 100% than expected. 4 were from real estate agents, 1 was completely fake, All of the rest but 1 I was never able to contact after multiple calls. They say over 100%, I say zero results. They won't let me cancel my contract, just shorten it from 1 year to 9 months which means I have to pay 4 more months for nothing. They offered to give me another zip code for free for a few months but I would have to commit to more time. If they would have let me cancel maybe we could have done business in the future. That will never happen.
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
