Inadvertently booked a Super 8 through Reservation.com. When I realized my mistake, I went to the Super 8 site and got the same room for $10 per night cheaper. I called Reservation.com and was told I could cancel but they had a non-refundable 19.99 service charge.
Total scam, don't use them!

Fradulent billing, charging in US$ instead of Canadian$. The transaction was based in Canada for a Canadian hotel. They only show that it is in US $ at the end, once the transaction has occured. A 30% difference + a 50$ fee on top. Scammers. Thieves!

We were charged taxes and fees twice for a 2 night stay the room charge was $58.24 per night and they charge us $171 for the 2 nights then 30 mins later a separate charge was charged to our card for $14 something for cancelation options which I did NOT authorize that charge to our card I called the 1800. # and they said that's how they work and can not help me. The worst experience we have ever had with a hotel booking site insane never again...they don't even deserve a 1 star rating they deserve to be shut down. 😒

This company has had its issues in the past with many customers, me being one of them. However, after 5 year, the new vice president of the company contacted me to correct the issue. I was issued a full refund for my situation. I am completely grateful that Mr. Ojeda reached out to me to show me something that I had not seen from this company in 5 years, that he cares about my opinion and about me as a customer. Thank you Mr. Ojeda for correcting my issue and I wish you all the best in your new position.

Thought I was on the hotel website and turns out I was not - its not refundable and they also add a fee - watch out when making hotel reservations! I have looked everywhere in my email and also have no confirmation from them - called hotel and have reservation but can't cancel!

If I could rate it lower than 1star I would. Should have looked at these reviews first. They basically have no customer service. Cancellation policy is detailed on the confirmation email which in my case was not refundable even if I was 11 days away from the arrival date. Is this even legal? They don't understand the reality of people changing plans for whatever reason. Do yourselves a favour... DON'T USE THIS SITE if your planning a trip.

Traveling to PA for funeral. Made reservation thru this entity for 10/18-10/20 thinking I was going to Hampton Inns and Suites on 9/27 realized that this was wrong Hotel when discussing with family. Immediately attempted to cancel and called motel directly. Was advised they would cancel on their end but since reservation was with 3rd party would have to cancel with Reservations.com. Went on line and cancelled and printed cancellation notice dated 10/3. Cancellation notice stateses refund within 10-15 days. Now 10/27 and no refund to credit card. Called and was addvised reservation not refundable. Will dispute charge with credit card. THIS IS A SCAM

I never write reviews. But this site scammed me 300.00. I thought I was booking on hotel site. I booked and tried to cancel five minutes laters and they wouldn't let me. They are way more expensive and zero customer service.

Let me start by saying I'm furious with this company. They do not even deserve one star. I booked my room through them and when I called the hotel there was no reservation made. After speaking to three different people at this reservations.com they told me I couldn't get my money back because I agreed to a no refund back if I cancel. Excuse me I did not cancel you took my money and never reserved my room. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well about this. It is horrible to rip innocent people off. Please do not use this company.

Very rude to our family, and will never use them again for a trip. We made reservations, and to pay day of arrival because of circumstances of raising our grandchildren and they took all the money out of our bank account immediately causing problems with our bank and we was told if we cancel, we would be billed double

They tell you they are giving you the lowest rate and then turn around and tack on a huge fee. They don't sent confirmations. Very difficult to work with. It's a rip off!

Please do NOT book with them. They charge surcharges and hike up the $$. Charged me $239 more for my 3 day trip. Expedia and priceline are so much better. Reservation.com are theives!

Worst place ever. Book at one price and push pay then the add on fees come. They want an extra fee of 19.99 booking fee a 68.45dollar room went to 107.14. They refused to cancel after I demanded numerous times to cancel it. I will have to make a dispute with credit card. The Robyn who works there is useless and refused to give me a manager. Don't use them ever.

I booked for three nights I booked the wrong date called within 5 minutes of the booking. To change the dates. They would not only charge me for the dates that I booked on accident. But for a new reservation if it was modified!? Literally was not trying to get any money back was just moving the date but said they would charge me regardless. And then asked if I still wanted to book the other dates!? I would never recommend this and I will never use it again

I went on my regular hotel website, don't know how this company got hold of my booking, took over the payment. When done I realized the problem, they charged me a higher rate than hotel plus a service charge. Call hotel the room is refundable and they refused to refund my credit card. Be aware of these scammers.

They are cheater. Charged me almost double what was paid to the hotel. When I contacted customer service. They refused to refund me by saying it is against their policy. I have the receipt from the hotel. Don't trust them. Whatever they are promising is opposite to what they are doing. We should file a complain about the websites like this. They should be blocked.

Do not give this place your credit card. Horrible customer service. Bait and switch and they have terrible pricing too.

Ordered 1 room for 3 people, was double charged on a feed that was never disclosed to me. It was never returned. Then no refund available. Finally upon arrival the second bed in the room was charged again. In total the reservation came to 80% higher than a regular hotel room with a trustworthy company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Do Not make your hotel reservation with these people, go directly to your hotel website and phone number, these people are liars and scammers. I usually don't write these reviews, but I was ripped off, and gave called them several times, waste of my time, so now I'll write and warn other people, I own my own business for 35 years, so I usually don't like if people get in reviews and say horrible stuff that isn't true! But this was a total scam and messed up hotel reservation
