If I could give zero stars it would still be to high. Since their return policy is very misleading I filed a claim with the BBB. You have to read their exchange policy and assume it applies to other policies. This company sucks and I deserve my full refund

I recently purchased a barbell from Rogue Fitness, attracted by their advertised "lifetime warranty" and "30-day return policy." Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.

Within three weeks of receiving the barbell, I discovered a deep scratch on the coating. Concerned about the durability and overall quality, I reached out to Rogue Fitness to request a return and refund under their stated policies. However, after a week of back-and-forth communication, they refused to honor both their 30-day return window and their lifetime warranty.

I'm disappointed with both the product's quality and the lack of responsiveness from customer service. They do not stand by their warranty or return policy, which is frustrating as a customer who trusted their promises.

If you're considering purchasing from Rogue Fitness, be cautious. In my experience, the barbell's coating was of poor quality, and the company was unhelpful in resolving the issue. I hope this helps others make a more informed decision.

Some Rogue phone Customer service reps are hesitant to help, I would give the 2 reps I spoke with today a negative star. You are giving a bad image to an otherwise great company.

Order not delivered
December 28, 2023

I ordered gift cards for my son for Christmas as of 12/28/2023 the still haven't showed up. When I got in contact with customer service all I got was they must be lost! So now I'm trying to get replacements and no confirmation of a new shipment. Is this how you run a company. They have the money.

Not at all surprising to see that this company has such low reviews. I purchased a Concept 2 ERG bike in June of last year (2022), and though Concept makes a short seat option, Rogue Fitness does not offer this option, or let you know that it is available. So I bought a bike that almost works for me, being 5' 2" with short legs. After developing knee pain my physical therapist determined that my bike was not set at the correct height (too tall), but I can not adjust it low enough. After some research, I found that they actually do make a short version. Rogue Fitness is unwilling to accept a return or purchase a short seat for me. They are catering to tall men and have zero concern for short humans. I hope they go out of business. Note. They lost a good customer. I have bought both the rower and bike and had planed to buy the skier as well. My son has all three machines as well.

DO NOT PURCHASE FOR STUDIO/COMMERCIAL GYM! Let me start by mentioning their products look great and are aesthetically pleasing. But there are many areas of improvement that are needed. One if you're a business I would suggest steer clear of their products and customer service. They're quick to sell you products but are not flexible with making adjustments to fit your business. Customer service was horrible, I was looking to return a few products after making a huge purchase for my studio gym and they tried to make it as difficult as possible to get it done. It took about a month to be able to just send back products. Their product are extremely oversized and are not fit to be in regular space. When purchasing equipment and having a career in the fitness industry I was expecting their equipment even based on their descriptions to be able to fit in a traditional commercial gym setting. No, they fit but only after taking out part of your ceiling since the engineer didn't account for the space it takes to assemble and place upright. With my purchase, they sent me 9 pallets and did not offer assembly literally they treated it just like a transaction with no type of service. So if you are looking to start a gym DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ROGUE.

Buyer beware
December 29, 2022

First, I am posting this review here after Rogue refused to post it on its respective product webpage - I attempted to post it 3 times, but, seeking to silence my review, Rogue deleted it. Second, this is maybe one of only three product reviews I have ever left since product reviews became a thing, but the manner by which Rogue has handled themselves with this situation - beyond the matter of the bench (see below) and more so, their low level of ethical customer service - warrants a review and investigation. Had Rogue taken care of the issue, this review would never have been posted. Concerning the bench: For a $1,000 workout bench, the level of rust/corrosion on it, in such little time, is unacceptable. We are exceedingly clean people who ensure our workout equipment remains equally clean. This is the second of the Rogue AB-3 we've owned; the first did precisely the same thing before it was replaced. This bench we received began doing the same thing within the first 30 days of owning it! We did not contact Rogue immediately, just thinking, "it is what it is." But it got to the point that the bench became difficult to adjust, and frankly, aesthetically, a $1k bench shouldn't look like this. We had been saving for a complete home gym – upwards of $25k and were concerned that other Rogue equipment might rust/corrode to the same degree in the same amount of time as the bench had. We wanted assurance that Rogue would back their products – enter stage-left, our issue with Rogue customer service. Concerning Rogue customer service: Resolving this issue has been ongoing for some time now - up to 2 years. Earlier this year, I had a pleasant exchange with a Rogue customer service agent who was either a.) going to refund us or b.) replace it. However, our emails were intercepted by who appeared to be a manager, a Mr. 'Terry Z' in "customer service" (maybe others?) who rudely denied our request for an exchange and going so far as to even 'gas-light' us, indicating it was user error- he refused to continue the email conversations, and simply ended with the quotes I included below. At that point, my wife and I were at a loss – I reached out to Rogue numerous times after that, but I'm assuming each email was intercepted by Terry Z. We decided, for our sanity's sake, at the time, to let the matter rest – he had accomplished his goal of silencing us for the time being. But now, we must speak up: a.) the bench is nearly unusable since the rust/corrosion is making it difficult to adjust; it's unsafe to use, and b.) it seems there is a consistency with some customer service reps at Rogue telling customers who are having a significant issue with a product that that issue is limited to their product and no one else's (see other reviews). As I said above, we have been buying and saving for a complete home gym for some time now. We've loved Rogue equipment up until this product (and more so, the customer service incident – had Terry Z taken care of the customer, the bench's rust/corrosion issue would not be deterring us from purchasing such a large order of Rogue equipment, as we would be confident Rogue's customer service would 'back' us. But now, we fear purchasing anything else, not trusting we'll be taken care of if there's an issue in the future. For Rogue customers: Buyer beware! For Rogue, my questions are: Is it company policy for a manager to have permission to override an already promised exchange and/or refund? Is it company protocol for a manager, when he/she is 'done' with a customer, to have permission to say, amongst other things that were said, comments such as, "This will be our last email regarding this matter" or, "This matter is considered closed"? Is this gaslighting/'Jedi-mind trick' an intentional way to get the customer to feel they're in the wrong and to walk away with their tail between their legs? Again, we do not believe the above is representative of all Rogue employees. We've had pleasant interactions with most. But our formal complaints went ignored, and that's not indicative of a company seeking the well-being of its customers or their continued loyalty. Consistency communicates - notice the consistency of negative reviews of Rogue on this site and elsewhere? Make a wise decision and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

Poor Customer Service
December 27, 2022

Ordered package and guaranteed delivery before Christmas. I notified them immediately after seeing me delivery was scheduled for 12/27. They said UPS is not calculating for their terminals being open on 12/24. Come on. UPS has been in logistics before Rogue was even a thought. Surprise the package was delivered on the 27th. Rogue says you can send it back and we will refund you. I should have followed my own advice. Any company that does not have a number to call like American Airlines, you should know their service is poor.

Awesome Customer Service
December 15, 2022

I made an online purchase which they shipped right away. Unfortunately somewhere with the carrier (had tracking #) the package didn't deliver. When I reached out to Rogue, I was able to immediately speak with live person. They listen to my concern (early Christmas gift) and indicated they would follow up with the carrier then sent me an email on the status. I waited one day to see if the package would be deliver before responding to Rogue. I didn't have to respond because Rogue overnighted ship my order for a second time. Very please with my experience and truly appreciate great customer service. Note we previously have purchase home equipment (squat machine, weights, barbells, bench) in 2021 and found Rogue USA made product to be great quality.

No Customer Service
September 26, 2022

When I placed my order on 09/07/2022 it showed both items to be in stock but I later received a notification that the mat was on back order for 30 days. On 09/18/2022 I was unable to figure out how to request a cancellation so I put in a request for a return and noted that I was trying to cancel the order. On 09/19/2022 I was able to locate the chat on the website and requested the order for the mat to be cancelled and was told that they would check to see if it could be cancelled. I also received a message confirming they had reached out to see if it could be cancelled. On 09/20/2022 I received a tracking order for the mat. So suddenly when I want to cancel the order it is in stock and shipped. I immediately reached back out by email to let them know I received tracking information and was advised I could refuse or return the package. I was not home when the package was delivered so I attempted to ship it back but the cost was over $80 for me to return the unopened package. This is as much as the mat cost! I reached back out and had several back and forths with a representative who stated the only thing that could be done is sending me a label on their rates but still at my expense. As I explained to that it seems ridiculous for me to have to pay for the return when 1) the item showed to be in stock but wasn't 2) The item was on a 30 day back order until I tried to cancel it 3) When I tried to cancel the order I suddenly received tracking info even though it had only been about 2 weeks not 30 days.

Customer Service Lies
September 2, 2022

I ordered 200 sq ft of Aktiv gym flooring on 8/22. Their site shows they sell 25 and 50' rolls, but there is no option to select what you want. Seeing this, I called prior to placing the order. I was told that they fulfill orders in the fewest cuts possible, so the more you order, the more 50' rolls you would get. In my case, 200 sq ft equals 1 50 roll. It arrived today in (2) 25' rolls, thus I am going to have extra seems on my floor, which I wanted to avoid, thus why I called to get clarification. As soon as I saw what was delivered, I called Rogue. The CS representative was less than helpful. He said he pulled the notes and saw that I called prior to placing the order but they are trained to tell people to put the lengths requested in the comments when placing the order. No where on the site or flooring page is this instruction given. No where in the conversation that I had with them PRIOR TO PLACING THE ORDER was this mentioned or I would have entered this into the comments. Rogue told me too bad, you are stuck with your $800+ dollar flooring order that you place because our representatives told you the wrong thing. Will never do business with them again.

Don't waste your time or money with Rogue
August 11, 2022

I recently purchased their premium Ohio belt for $150, after shipping and taxes it was nearly $200. I purchased this belt with high hopes. My waist measures around 38 inches, depending on the time of day. The extra large according to Rogues size guide fits a 34-41 inch waist. The belt I received fits on the tightest setting. Again my waist is 38 inches. If I lose any weight at all this belt with be useless to me. I either received the wrong size or the size guide is not correct. When I contacted rogue about exchanging it they wanted me to pay for the shipping. I already spent over $20 to ship it to me and now they want an additional $16 to ship it back to them. I'm sure they also want me to pay to ship the correct belt to me. The shipping alone will total around $60 all because they either sent me the wrong size or the size guide is off. Basically I would have to pay for their error. Do yourself a favor and buy from a more reputable company. I will never buy from them again. Hope this review helps

VERY DECEITFUL COMPANY
July 18, 2022

Purchased there echo pull up package bands, which showed a picture of all the bands at a cost of $80 + $13.91 for shipping & taxes. Same picture showed up on the final receipt! Once I realized that it was not what they advertised I called and asked to return the item do to the misleading add, and exchange it for another item. They refused to void the return item shipping cost even though I informed them that I would be willing to pay for the shipping fees for the new item. NEVER had this issue with Amazon, Walmart, etc...
Purchasing an $80 product from ANY other vendor would have cost me $0 in shipping or return fees! STAY AWAY FROM THIS NICKLE AND DIME SHOP!

Scam artists
June 5, 2022

Don't trust their website reviews as I've confirmed they delete all the negative ones.

They shipped me an order with most of the parts missing, then I had to fight with them over email, then shipped another order with the "remaining parts" which was also missing parts, then had to fight with them over email, and finally got all the parts after a week later.

The parts were machined sloppily and didn't align properly. The thing is a pain to use because of it.

Prices are like 2x every competitor and you pay for shipping. Completely not worth. Find someone else.

I have ordered a lot of equipment from Rogue, from racks to bars, and weights. The quality is high and I have been pleased overall. Recently I ordered some spotter arms (over $300 before shipping) and one of them doesn't attached at a perfect 90 degree angle... is 92-93 degrees and over the course of 30" the arm jets out at an angle. At the tip of the spotter arm its a good 3" in (or out) from where it should be. I reached out to Rogue to let them know the issue, and sent pictures. Instead of helping me or finding a solution the customer service rep was quite literally searching for reasons not to replace, repair or stand behind their product. This is a manufacturing defect in which the bar isn't attached correctly, clearly. Instead of sending me a new arm, they want to charge me shipping to send the entire thing back and pay for another one when its abundantly clear the right thing to do is stand behind their extremely expensive product and send me one that isn't jacked up. I will not be purchasing anymore equipment from them based on this experience.

Rogue had sent me the wrong item and when I contacted them to obtain a return label they informed me it was my responsibility to pay for return shipping for the item they had wrongfully sent. I had already paid $65 to have the item shipped and now I was expected to pay to ship it back? The customer service representative was incredibly rude and condescending and refused to send me to a manager to help resolve this situation. Beware of ordering from this company.

I purchased a sit-up pad for $50. I should have paid attention to the reviews indicating that it was not comfortable and too hard, which turned out to be the case. I returned the pad promptly unused, but ended up paying them $32 for shipping! I requested some reimbursement, and they refused and insisted I pay for all shipping charges. I would advise being extremely careful before buying from this vendor.

Rogue customer service is terrible
March 25, 2022

Good luck reaching a live person at rogue. I had an issue assembling a product and couldn't reach anyone. I tried every promt from customer service to sales to accounting. Every mailbox at rogue says it's full! Can I tell you how annoying it is to have a partially assembled piece of equipment and can't get any help. I've spent thousands with rogue and won't spend another penny. I can't believe a company as large as this doesn't have someone answering the phone. What if I wanted to talk about equipping a commercial gym? I'll try sorinex next time even though they are a bit more expensive.

Their clothing sucks and is poorly made and fitted. Customer service told me "Tough Luck, stuff varies" (paraphrased) and made me pay to send back stuff improperly sized (defective products). I wont buy clothing from them. But just so you know... if you order ANYTHING, it will never arrive in a timely manner and will come from all over the globe with different "mailers". Super pissed about the responses when I asked them to take back their crappy clothing. Their equipment is pretty good. I have a lot of it.

Website Fraud Scam
January 5, 2022

I have an account set up through Rogue fitness Website to purchase fitness equipment. My last order in mid December came went no issues, but I then received 2 messages from an unknown source that offered a "Cashback" indicating it was from Rogue Fitness! I have tried several times over a 2 week period to get a response from their customer service with NO REPLY or response that my personal information has not been compromised. I have have to cancel credit card and it's an absolute joke they have a customer service department that gives an automated reply they will respond in 1-2 days! Obviously they don't care about a fraud scam through their website or the customers affected so the only option left is legal action. Curious is other customer have has the same issues and we can collaborate on this matter.
