On the second day after registration, one man began to simply attack me with insults that I was a bot because my page was not verified, I added a passport photo, but my profile was deleted instead of verification, I turned to the manager and they began to accuse me that I seemed to indicate in the questionnaire that I am not looking for anything on the site - this is nonsense, I indicated that I was looking for a long-term relationship. I turned again to the manager - to explain that something was wrong and my questionnaire indicated that I was looking for a relationship, this time they answered me that I allegedly violated the rules "harvest or collect email addresses or other contact information" What emails? I didn't understand at all, I just sent a passport photo to verify my page! People they do not read anything, they just send some sort of preparation of excuses and even not looking at the passport or the reason why the person turned to them. More nerves than positive.
Worst dating site ever for scams. Fake profiles running rampant all over the place. All you have to do is try POF and see no one asks for you email until it feels like the thing to do. Simple conversations normally short on POF. But if those scammers on Russian Cupid get your email get ready for a story and a half and plenty of pics you never asked for. LOL! Freakin brutal!
Yes, I talked to a few people who were normal, but 90% was fake. So pissed! Worst experience I ever had on a dating site tried 8 to see whats out there. This one is the worst! But plenty of those international hot shot sites with hot girls are also brutal for fake profiles. If your in North America, I suggest you go with POF for the fee go at it. Not all that is said about this site is true. Granted you do have your opportunistic individuals out there. But frankly, every culture does. Just use common sense and be honest with the individual you are communicating with. I have met the love of my life on this website, and I thank God for this everyday. We have been together for over a year and it has not been easy for either of us with figuring out the distance, and difficulties with dating someone from another country across the globe. But it can work and I can tell you, when you find this person, it is with all the effort. So don't be frustrated with some failures or heart breaks. Be confident and strong and move forward. I sign up yesterday, create profile add passport to prove I am real person and today my profileis deactivated by manager. I never wrote noone letter to no one there. Looks like they are not interested in real people-users. They only collect girls passports and photos and create fakes to man pay for communication with them.

I am a Russian woman, who tried to register on that website. I sent my scanned documents(!) to prove that I am real, but they blocked my account after they received them. I emailed them asking about the reason, but never received a reply, tried to contact online support team, but my requests did not submit.

Fake profiles are used by stealing photos from Instagram.
If a girl can't be bothered to fill out a profile she is fake!
Many of the new profiles are created at the same time, using the same profile names and ages. For example I saw four "Marinas" created at the same time, all with same details, using the same stolen photos from Instagram.
When you complain to Russiancupid all you get is a pre-wrtten auto response.

Daily, I discovered 25-50 new scammers, many regulars. I was simply thrown out of the side because I knocked on these scammers. This is ridiculous, 4 of 6 girls i was chatting had the same story "I'm mix half American half (other nationalities) my dad was American and he passed away 2 years ago now i live in Ghana" always the same BS and they send me selfies and lots of pictures but the moment i asked for video chat sometime was wrong with their laptop of cellphone.
