After recieving my booklets it is apparent this is a scam. Google can do a better job. When I didn't even start the course and tried to cancel they expected the course in full. Buyer beware.

I took a course years ago and was super excited. Come to find out that this is an expensive piece of crap that holds no value to any employer or school. They are not credited, so if you are doing this for yourself, it is great, but if you are using it for credentialling, save your money; no one/employer recognizes a school unless they are accredited. Now I have to start all over again with an accredited institution.

Based off of what I have read, it sounds like a lot of people thought that this would be an easy, cheap way to earn an education.

Though the Institute has lower prices than a full college would, I have had a great experience thus far.

It is at your own pace, they do expect monthly payments (which is disclosed before making your first payment), you must finish your payments before you get your diploma (again, disclosed and fair), and they expect you to keep a good standing GPA.

A lot of these people writing reviews can't even form a complete, gramatically proper sentence. It sounds like they didn't fully read through the guidelines disclosed BEFORE your first payment is ever due.

Please read the full description when signing up for SCI. They were very thorough, the customer service has always been helpful for me, and the option to contact a professor is always there. Yes, they send you course material that you must study and then test on. Yes, you have to wait for it to arrive. However, they automatically ship out your materials once you've finished part of a module, which is super convenient. Yes, you may have to wait a few days for it to be delivered (patience is a virtue you need to learn anyways). They even provide you tracking information though, so it is never a surprise.

Again, I do not understand why so many people have felt the need to write bad reviews when most of the concepts they are complaining about are self inflicted.

Thank you SCI. I hope to finish my course soon! I have used it to begin my own company, which has already been successful without my diploma in hand yet.

This place is horrible I only been with them a month they are not professional they show u that they don't care about explaining anything or helping u they send a book like some of the other reviewers have said and u are basically on your own so yes definitely think about where and who u give ur money too I am locked out of my account and have been trying to get it resolved for 4 hours by telephone now with these people who can deal with people who are simple at a job for a paycheck they sent even reach back out to u to see how ya made out how do u expect new people to view ur company aa the best well this one has a long way to go dont waste your money or time.

I'm a 71 year old male who has just finished motorcycle/atv course I found this course very informative.

This is a BS place do not waste your money. I paid money to become a teachers aide and I can complete a course faster than it takes for my packets to come in the mail! What school doesn't offer UPS or Priority Shipping? I even offered to pay for UPS out of my own pocket. They said no. They like to state to me each time that your packets have been mailed out but thats a lie. This last packet took 15 days to get to my house. This is a crappy school. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Stratford Career School is a scammer's dream of making money & services useless, non-credited towards college transfers to legitimate Universities & not an asset on your job resumes as employer's don't consider this School as a means of future job as a qualified degree to consider for employment. Don't waste your $ on a school that has no beneficial future returns to show for as an accomplishment in higher learning! Consider a major University or Technical College instead. You're guaranteed the best of education and the best influence for future careers in the field of job choice.

I have taken three certificate programs with Stratford and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I took Psychology/Social Work, Criminal Justice and Canine Specialist. I am an ordained minister so the first 2 programs gave me some extra education to help me in my ministry. I took the canine specialist course because I wanted to be able to work with our own dog. I am considering taking either the Vet Assistant program or Spanish as a second language.

They are only for the money.
The programs are worth nothing.If you sign for their program you owe them the full amount even if you see that the course is useless.Be careful!?

I registered my son for a class However he was not able to do it so I decided to ask if I could exchange for a class for myself but the woman in admissions was so rude she didn't let me explain it to her it's almost like is was in a hurry and didn't want to give me any of her time I'm so disappointed with this school and don't recommend it to anyone

I have joined their administration assistance program.It had 7 modules. They just sent you book and then we have to read no online training nothing. How can one person can learn different computer topics just from book. Please don't west your money. I love to study so I have join this program but I haven't learn much. Totally disappointed.

Please run from these people i signed up to go at my own pace an yes i missed a payment then they contacted me i payed the whole bill out now i can't get my work nor will they answer the phone when the operator did answer she told me she didn't care that i payed it will be three months before i could gain access to the program and hung up on me which was totally rude this place totally took my money i pray these people the best of luck smh their going to need it God is going to get them i hope this whole place burn down they fraud people.

I'm currently taking their creative writing program and have had no problems with them now or previously when I took their high school diploma course.

I applied for the forensic psychology course and had money taken out of my bank. Stopped taking money out and charged me for course. Sent my account to collections.
