Outstanding rounds! We left the choice up to SDB to choose our rounds. They sent our entire order, 40 rounds, in Buffalo's! Second time buying from SDB and certainly will not be the last.
Ordered 2 royal mint una silver bars ( 10 oz) limited edition, paid $622 3 weeks ago, items in stock at the time order, never updated status. Called and placed on hold forever! Items now out of stock and will only allow exchange for lowered value bars and will not refund the difference in value ( silver is down form time of order in addition bars ordered now are not premium limited edition bars! Very rude an unethical company!
SD bullion prices are very low. The speed of delivery was a little slow, it was a little tricky trying to track the package, but other than that everything was great!
Not what I expected from customer service. Would recommend they update how they talk to customers. And do not assume they are idiots and have never invested.

Purchased Canadian Maple Leafs on 3/15/2023. Two days later I purchased some additional silver items on JMBullion. On 3/22/2023 I received my purchase from JMBullion!
I called customer non service at SDBullion on 3/23/2023 and was told my order will go in the shipping que in one or two days. I told him I would like to cancel my order for lack of timely service and he said fine but there is $145.00 fee for canceling my order! I said no way, and he argued with me and I said why are you charging me when SDBullion has not delivered in a timely basis… He basically said that how it is because I supposedly agreed to their terms and conditions when I purchased the items.SDBullion is a complete JOKE……
Save yourself a lot of trouble and buy from anyone but SDBULLION!

They even used excuse or address verification this last time after verifying on phone 3 tomes this last 9 days. Email yesterday said i would receive tracking that day. Still waiting not shipped. We do not ship out on weekends, and our shipping queue time is 1-3 business days. We understand that you selected FedEx 2-day shipping, and while this expedites the shipping process, it does not expedite the process for clearing and verifying your payment and order.
It appears that the order did ship out the day you submitted this review, 9/23, and it was delivered two business days later via FedEx.

Product was delivered precisely as ordered an promised. I have ordered from SD Bullion several times before and have always had correct orders and delivered as promised.
I have had multiple interactions with SD and all have been consistent and timely. I have had no issues with my purchases. Each shipment was well packaged and discreet.
This is my first order with SD Bullion. I placed my substantial order (20 1oz Gold Eagles) on 2/16/2021 and paid them via wire on 2/18/2021. I received a tracking number from Fedex on 2/25/2021 for delivery by 3/2/2021. The order never arrived... I notified them on 3/2 and again on 3/4... They told me of "weather delays" but by 3/10 I questioned whether it even shipped... being a new customer of SDB, I did not have any history with them. I was suspect as I have experience buying metal from other suppliers without incident. On 3/12/2021 SD Bullion told me to fill out a "Statement of Loss" claim form with them that they need to explore the claim with Fedex and their insurance company and per their email... "Please allow 7-10 business days for our team to coordinate with the carrier and allow their internal processes to begin. Attached you will find a Statement of Loss Form"... On 3/18/2021 I was asked to submit a "notarized" "Statement of Loss Affidavit": I had to go to my local notary!. I am not sure what lead to the loss of my shipment and what responsibility SDB bears if any. I feel better about this company now that I have received delivery but I do not appreciate going thru this experience. I received my order this morning(3/24/2021) via Fedex 2nd day air. It was packaged well but over 3 weeks later than expected. Customer service helped me thru process and followed up which I appreciate. I will consider doing business with them again despite this rocky first order.
SD Bullion ships thousands of packages and they are insured. We do have a process to follow when packages get lost and we are happy to help when this difficult situation does occur.
I was hoping to get some diversity... but got 50 Britannicas. They were in great shape and in containers. Ordered 150 more 1 oz random, lets hope I don't get 150 Britannicas.

I ordered 100 ASE random years, BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED! What i recieved was 100 ASE of the same year (2009), I can deal with that, however every single coin is milk white. Not one is Brilliant uncirculated.
Placed my order. Paid with check. Received my product. There seemed to be a reasonable amount of communication from SDB to manage my expectations. I'm a repeat customer and will continue to be.
While looking at there web site for 1 gram gold bars random selection they show 3 different 1 gram gold bars in certified packages and 1 not in a certified package as if to show you what it would look like I thought, I brought 4 thinking I would get 4 certified random packages but i got 4 bars not in certified packages so I called to no availed, the pictures show 1 bar without certified package and that what they sent I said the pictures are misleading, he said the citified are more but they are all shown together with the same price, MISLEADING. Also the two day shipping I paid extra for is misleading after reading the fine print it is only after the items are shipped which took a total of several days when i got notified of shipping it was 2 days after, should have not paid 12.95 for 2 day shipping. While looking at pictures and thinking that is what you are getting and I didn't, and calling someone who didn't even show any care. I will not but from SD Bullion any more, read the whole section and look carefully There Pictures are misleading. Les

The description for this item does indicate the following in the description found on the product page: "These 1 gram gold bars are various mints and brands, however, they are still guaranteed to have pure gold with a variety of packaging and designs. These generic designs on the bars are minted from a variety of different manufacturers that are located around the world. The designs on the obverse and reverse will be dependent on the producing mint. These bars are not guaranteed to have certified or assay provided."
The random design bars have lower premiums because there is no specification on what will be received, aside from the guarantee that these are pure gold bars.
When selecting a shipping option during checkout, each method has a "once shipped" annotation beside it. Prior to shipping, we must process payment and prepare the order. Once a payment processes, orders ship within 1-3 business days. After this timeframe, expedited shipping would be enacted.

Bought silver from them at 30 an Oz. Never showed up. When I called about my order they said I selected to have my metal stored with them. (I didn't) they wouldn't refund or be helpful in any way and said I had two choices. Either I pay the 35 dollar restock fee, or the shipping for it to be shipped to my house. The shipping is cheaper than the fee, so I said sure just ship it to me. Then the person says the metal that was 30 an Oz. Has to be shipped on "current" market value (that is understandable) and I'm done at this point, so I say ok what's the current value? The person says 31 an Oz. I say ok and he makes the charge for shipping and 31 an Oz. Then I hang up. Then I checked the current market price and it was 27 per oz. And called them back and called them out on it. He says I was right and will honor the original pice of 30 an Oz. Not the current market price of 27 an Oz. Even though the first call they said they had to charge me current market price, but now didn't because it was a negative for them. When I asked for the workers name he gave a AL V. Fake $#*! name and wouldn't get me in contact with anyone else. I will not buy from SD bullion ever again and if you can stay away from this company do it. They will lie and "nickel and dime" you, but when it's bad on them they cut the customer off and leave you in the dark. I had to get my bank involved to get my money back, and still haven't yet.

Because the original purchase was a locked in trade, we could either cancel this order, continue sending the metals to the depository, or change the shipping address so the items could be delivered to you. With the cancellation option, per our Terms of Use, cancellations are calculated as 5% of the order total or $35, whichever is greater, plus any applicable market loss. Alternatively, we could ship the metals to your address. We offer free shipping and insurance for orders over $199. A standard shipping fee was charged because any order $199.00 or less will incur a flat rate of $9.95, which is necessary to cover shipping and insurance.
I do apologize for the overcharge on your order. When our customer service agent remade the order, the credit card fee was accidently applied twice. We have been attempting to reach you through phone and email to rectify this situation. We can either issue a refund for the overcharge of $3.80, or offer a $5 coupon for this inconvenience. Our Terms of Use—which are agreed upon when submitting an order—state: “Cancellation fees are calculated as 5% of the order total or $35, whichever is greater, plus any applicable market loss. Market Loss is defined as the difference between the locked spot price of the metals at the time of the order and the spot price of the metals at the time of cancellation.”
Because orders are locked in trades, any change or cancellation incurs a fee. If the market were to drop after placing an order, a subsequent cancellation would result in a loss for SD Bullion. Cancellation fees are assessed to minimize this loss.

Cancellation fees are an industry standard. Every online bullion dealer will have some kind of cancellation policy. Because we operate in a live market, once an order is submitted it becomes a locked trade. An order cannot be submitted until the customer clicks the box agreeing to the terms of use. Your products are moved out of our inventory and held for you, and we hedge our price based off the market price at the time you submit your order.
Per our Terms of Use, any cancellations must be filed via telephone during normal business hours. Our customer service team will evaluate any request to cancel an order on a case-by-case basis.
