Outstanding rounds! We left the choice up to SDB to choose our rounds. They sent our entire order, 40 rounds, in Buffalo's! Second time buying from SDB and certainly will not be the last.
Ordered 2 royal mint una silver bars ( 10 oz) limited edition, paid $622 3 weeks ago, items in stock at the time order, never updated status. Called and placed on hold forever! Items now out of stock and will only allow exchange for lowered value bars and will not refund the difference in value ( silver is down form time of order in addition bars ordered now are not premium limited edition bars! Very rude an unethical company!
Somehow, spot prices were different, (their advantage), than any other spot price found online. Was told there would be "no slicks", not true. Have many that have no dates. I have only checked part of a bag. Look at the one in the center of the pic. The ones without any part of a date, will be hard to sell as junk silver. I do not think that DS Bullion would buy them.

I have 2 orders and ******* is charging 4% if uses credit card. The market price is
$1982 and grand total becomes $2132. I thought I was paying $2050 something and the check out did not warn you or anything. The first order is not arrived yet and you can't do anything about it. You can't cancel because they charge you Cancellation fees are calculated as 5% of the order total or $35, whichever is greater, plus any applicable market loss. They make sure you pay.

The credit, debit, and Paypal pricing is advertised on every product page in the pricing grid while browsing. This is also visible when you are selecting payment method on the order review page prior to placing the order.
This payment structure is identical to all bullion dealers in the precious metals industry, and is not specific to our company. We offer a cash discount price because the cost to process a credit transaction is often as much as the profit would be. This is due to the fees from credit card companies and the expense of fraud prevention systems that are unfortunately very necessary in this industry.

I placed two purchases on line two days apart. I mailed checks to reduce the credit card fees. The first order they did actually send. But it took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. The second order never came. A month after I placed the order they sent me a demand for $500 because they claimed they never received the second check. The $500 was service charge - their fee for loss of a sale. They made absolutely no attempt to resolve the problem. The company has fully automated systems. They could easily send out an email after 5 days saying they had not received the check and give the opportunity to pay by credit card over the internet to avoid the service charge. Nope. Too profitable for them to say the check was 'lost in the mail.' More likely it's in a drawer where they put checks when they don't have supply to fill the order. Horribly bad business model in the electronic age. Never using them again.

Don't pay with anything other than a credit card. If there is a dispute (like they lose your check), you are SOL.

Your order was cancelled due to lack of payment. Cancellation fees are an industry standard. Because we operate in a live market, once an order is submitted it becomes a locked trade. Your products are moved out of our inventory and held for you, and we hedge our price based off the market price at the time you submit your order.
Prior to cancellations, SD Bullion will reach out to the customer. Prior to cancelling this order, our team reached out on October 7th and October 13th about not having the check. An automated email also was sent, notifying the customer of the possible cancellation if we do not receive payment. Because there was no response, the order was cancelled.

SD Bullion screwed up my electronic payment, and when the order still hadn't shipped after 12 days, I called to check on the status, and the person I spoke to told me the original check had bounced. That was an absolute lie! They messed it up. I would recommend that you avoid this company.

Regarding the turnaround, we apologize if there was any confusion. Checks and e-checks typically take 3-5 business days to be processed internally. After that, orders are sent to the shipping queue for 1-3 business days. Delivery with free shipping is 5-10 business days, once shipped.

As SD grows larger and larger their time-to-ship also continues to stretch-out. After 10 days their system prints a mailing label, but then it takes at least another 2 days for shipping to actually happen. Customer service says 6-10 days, but now even that's not realistic. Too bad they can't even meet their rather poor performance standard. Even for long-time customers, you're going to have to wait an extended time no matter which shipping option you choose. My latest order is now supposed to arrive in a total of 16 days, much slower than others like Silver Gold Bull and JM.

Please take into consideration there are different internal processing times for the diverse payment methods. Payment processing times are as follows:
Bank wire: 24-48 business hours
Electronic check: 3-5 business days
Personal check: 3-5 business days, once received
Credit Card/Paypal: 24-48 business hours
After the above time frame for our accounting team to fully process the payment, the order is released to the shipping queue. As per our shipping policy, during normal market conditions our shipping queue is 1-3 business days after your payment has cleared our account. The current shipping queue time is expected to be 3-5 business days from payment fully processed by our accounting team. Please notice FedEx 2-day or USPS Priority is “once shipped”.
In sum, first the payment has to be processed and that time depends on each method. Then, the order is released to the shipping queue. Finally, delivery depends on the shipping method selected.

They are far cheaper than my local shops and have a larger selection. I normally buy whatever they have the cheapest for silver. I will say I bought my majority of silver from SD with few exceptions. Wish there were other faster ways to send money that would not cost extra like sending a check by mail or need to go to the bank. All in all they work great for me. Very happy.

The coins I receive from this company are poor quality compared to its competition like Apmex and JM Bullion. A good knick right behind his neck that just draws your eyes right to it. Coin was also not in its flip and was freely moving around in the bubble wrap. Last shipment was a tube of brittanias missing the foam insert and you can guess the quality of those coins. I suppose that's why they undercut the others by a few dollars but I'm tired of spending money on poor quality. Won't do business with SD Bullion again. Will continue dealing with Apmex, JM Bullion and others.

Highly recommend Apmex or JM Bullion. Their quality is better and I feel they actually care about their customers and would like them to be repeat customers.

Regarding your recent credit card order, pricing is visible and locked in before you submit an order. The pricing may have increased during checkout for a couple reasons:
1. International shipping rates are calculated and added at checkout after you've added your shipping address. This pricing is added before an order is submitted.
2. Any card transaction incurs a 4% fee, which is also visible at checkout before submitting your order after you've selected your payment method.
3. Pricing at checkout is locked for five minutes. Outside of this time frame, it updates to the market again and may increase if the market has gone up.

Though there was an issue with ordering on the web site, "The Doc" made good on a price I could not lock in because of technical difficulties. I have shopped the others, and keep coming back to SD Bullion. They have the best prices and are excellent when it comes to customer service.

NO worries, excellent updates, BEST price, great packaging... I always review and compare to, at least, three other merchants.
I have ordered from SD Bullion, only... because the other vendors are not as economical nor as clear regarding what to expect in the purchase, service and delivery processes..
I've spent several thousand dollars in the past couple of months with this company and they convey they are a good Christan company who "does business the old fashioned way" and they "deliver the highest quality products". These are their words. Their actions however, speak louder than their empty words. I wanted to trust they would ship me (BU) brilliant uncirculated coins and rounds without obvious glaring flaws. Instead, and on more than one instance, I receive flawed coins and rounds, (30) rounds all with the same exact flaw. Then Frank in their customer service tells me if I ship these ones back that they won't guarantee that the exchange ones I'll get will be any better and that they could even be worse. No guarantees! How's that for service the old fashioned way, and the highest quality products? These are their words

Shop elsewhere. They give an illusion they are a good Christian company but they are only words. Actions, or in this case, inactions speak louder than words. If you're not completely satisfied at other online dealers they will pay the return shipping because they genuinely mean what they say.

If you are a collector looking for flawless coins, we would recommend purchasing graded MS70 or proof editions of the bullion coins. Graded and proof coins are inspected by the mint for quality of strike and for any flaws.

Best prices, easy to understand website and straightforward ordering. The check was handled in a timely manner and shipping same shortly thereafter. The $100 "junk" silver half dollar 'bag' had some Barbers worth extra! Some of the Franklins were in very good shape.
No problems. What I ordered was received in a timely processing event. Note: Used personal check, for the first time, without issue.
Note to others: My package was very securely wrapped, as with past orders. Having opened many packages in the past, both work and personal. I knew how to open with safety in mind. Always move sharp tools away from the body and keep your second hand and arm clear. Open with patience and care, order is very well wrapped.
I have bought silver bars from many online retailers. A friend recommended SD and their prices were excellent. I paid by check so I wouldn't have to pay for credit card fees. Paid $1.89 over spot for a 100 OZ bar. With processing and check clearing, it arrived at my house this morning. So 10 days from purchase to free delivery. I'll be buying a lot from them from now on.
First 1 oz. Gold coin I have purchased. I'm happy with the purchase. I wish processing could be quicker but I understand verification of pmt is part of doing business on the internet. I also understand at this point in time precious metals are in high demand due to bank failures and high inflation. However, SD bullion remains competitive and is my go to bullion dealer when I'm looking for silver and gold.
This was my first order from SD Bullion for 100 of the 2017 American Silver Eagle coins. Paid by check and it was shipped within two business days of my check being deposited. I was able to monitor the shipment with tracking information provided and it arrived as scheduled. Packaging was good, no issues. Overall, a great first experience.
Tried to cancel order,was told not possible,your company didn't even have the stock to fill. Sent wire for full amount then received a call to say I need to send ten more dollars to receive order, not sure why but gave my card to finally get order over with.

I bought $100 Face Wash quarters. They mixed 200 fair/good coins with 200 EF/AU coins. When placed in plastic coin tubes there 15 coins short. I called Frank at Cus Service, no help. I will be buying local from here forward.

I bought $4000 on gold earlier this year from as bullion and it took forever for it to come. I also had a problem with the cancellation of some silver that I had bought. I did not know until the end of the transaction, that it was really only one coin that was discounted. They threaten to take me to collections, and in the end, I paid them almost $200 and got nothing in return. I asked if I could use it towards the purchase of other products and I was denied. The first phone conversation I was told all fees would be waived, but they continued to send me letters telling me I was going to be sent to collections. I typically spend between 10 and $15,000 a year on precious metals and will be doing business with anyone, but them.
