I ordered two gold maples from SD Bullion and had planned to order one per month until:
They sent me wire instructions. I followed them to the letter but it seems as though they are not able to take my bill pay from my local bank which wires my rent money every month. My bank looked to correct things by sending a check. Turns out the address SD provides is inaccurate so I have a check and instructions for SD bullion on how to accept a wire from my bank sitting God knows where.
SD Bullion contacted me threatening ME with a cancelation fee though I have done my due diligence. Will never deal with these crooks again.

I used to love your company but resent experience with you customer service has proved to me that you talk a good game on these videos and with you cards in shipping boxes but when it comes down to it, you are more interested in making money first. Buyer beware! They don't stand behind their products.
I purchased 1 brilliant uncirculated (BU) coin and 4 very good (VG) coins. The "BU" has rim damage, very little original luster, and deep scratches. One of the "VG" coins is cleaned, 2 of them have an outlined design/missing rim details.
Emails asking for assistance were given dismissive responses and a manager on their call hotline was unwilling to even receive pictures of the coins in question.
Apparently, their merchandise is "graded by third party sellers" and they "have no control over the quality of merchandise".

Thank you for your feedback! Bullion coins tend to have minor imperfections from the manufacturing process. This has no impact on the value of the bullion. If you are a collector looking for flawless coins I would recommend purchasing graded MS70 or proof editions of the bullion coins. Proof coins are inspected by the mint for quality of strike and for any flaws.

I ordered silver that was not delivered. When I called I was treated very poorly and rudely by staff. I sent them almost $5500 and its been 25 days and I have received nothing, no help, no resolution just some excuses with their fraud department. I will be contacting the federal trade commission and the consumer financial protection bureau tomorrow to report this as fraud. I have ordered gold/silver many times but not from this company. They push the "2 day" FedEx shipping but take 3-4 days to process. They charged me immediately then sent me an email saying that my order will not ship till next month on an item that shows "available" online. Garbage

Presale/delayed items do show as available on the site, however, you cannot place the order without acknowledging the ship date for the item. You have to physically check the box agreeing to the ship date.
Please take into consideration there are different internal processing times for the diverse payment methods. Payment processing times are as follows:
Bank wire: 24-48 business hours
Electronic check: 3-5 business days
Personal check: 3-5 business days, once received
Credit Card/Paypal: 24-48 business hours
After the above time frame for our accounting team to fully process the payment, the order is released to the shipping queue. As per our shipping policy, during normal market conditions our shipping queue is 1-3 business days after your payment has cleared our account. The current shipping queue time is expected to be 3-5 business days from payment fully processed by our accounting team.
Please notice FedEx 2-day or USPS Priority is “once shipped”.
In sum, first the payment has to be processed and that time depends on each method. Then, the order is released to the shipping queue. Finally, delivery depends on the shipping method selected.

This company as compared to the other "BIG' companies is in my opinion the low price leader. They charge for shipping ( no free $99 and over) but there is a way around that. They offer free shipping by choosing one item from their free shipping included menu. Include the one cent item on your order and the entire order ships for free. I am into Junk silver as it is quoted but everything used to 90% "JUNK". Oh well. Service is prompt!
There are many sites online that want your gold and silver business--many of them (particularly those with a huge advertising budget allowing them to buy celebrity endorsements) are very poor choices that pressure you into buying overpriced, over-hyped coins that are no more valuable than generic bullion. That is not the case with SD Bullion. While you may not find the biggest selection at SD Bullion, you will consistently find what you are looking for at far better prices than those high-pressure dealers. Avoid the disappointment and buyers' remorse by going to SD Bullion for your precious metal investments.

I ordered a bag of half dollars, should have been 200 coins, only received 199 coins and one of those stuck to a magnet. Sd bullion customer service refuses to make it right, they offered me a fifteen dollar coupon. What a joke. I won't be spending thousands of dollars shopping with them. Nothing to compare against. My first experience with on-line Bullion Dealer was pretty much as expected. Coin delivered in reasonable amount of time for paying by check as I did. Somewhat surprised it was left in mailbox rather delivered to door in person to an adult. Return addressing shows no clear indication of what is inside package which is good. Coin looks great. SD has my business! Most complaints I read about are either bogus or a big misunderstanding. Guess it comes with the territory.

First time ordering from you and I picked your busiest month. Took a little longer than I expected but it is understandable with the volume increase. Wish I ordered more as prices have gone up quite a bit since then.
I've now made 2 purchases with SD Bullion, the first being to dip my toe in the water, and the second being full steam ahead. I got exactly what I ordered and in a very timely manner. I used 2 different payment methods and purchased both silver and gold without hassle. While other sources and websites may have more diverse product offerings, SD Bullion offers a still wide variety products at exceptional prices! If I had any feedback, it might only be that I prefer the old website more than the new one. New website doesn't show as much price breakdown information versus quantity as the old one and it just feels a little bit clunky. With 50 ounces of silver in 1 ounce of gold now in hand, I'm off to a good start, and I intend to go much farther! Apart from one offs and visiting my local coin shops, I intend to do all of my online precious metals purchasing through this website!
Rather long time period between order payment and shipment, even if you pay extra for 2-day service. Email questions are not always responded to. And for some reason, they charge sales tax on shipping and handling. Even when your state specifically exempts such charges. Not sure why their performance has slipped, but apparently is has.

Love your company used you a bunch butch probably not for junk silver again. Had 4 quarters that were not even silver and what I consider to be a very high number of badly worn and no date coins. It took 5 phone calls to get it correct as I did make a change to the order within less than 24 hours. I still don't think I was charged correctly but tired of waiting on hold to try and correct the issue. Sort of left a sour taste in my mouth!
