I sent Sellbackbooks five different books. The first they paid but slowly. The second they said it was not a real copy and wanted $10.00 to send it back. The next to orders they did finnally pay after I clled and emailed many times. Now the last order they have had since 3-17-19 and it is now 7-4-19. They are no longer responding to my emails and I am haveing trouble getting them on the phone. Not sure if I'll ever get paid or get my books back. Beware this company!

DON'T SELL YOUR BOOKS TO THIS SITE. THEY OPENLY FLAUNT THE FACT THAT THEY WILL TAKE 84 DAYS... NOT INCLUDING SHIPPING... TO PAY YOU IF THEY DO AT ALL.
Their explanation:
"Thank you for contacting customer service.
Your package may have been delivered but at this time your buyback has not been checked in for processing. Please allow up to 30 business days for your order to be checked in. Once it is checked in, it will take up to 6 weeks to process and have your payment issued. "

To which I replied and never heard back from them:

So just to be clear... step 3 of your simple three step selling process entitled "SPEND- Get paid fast with our Direct Deposit option!"... takes 84 days not including shipping (30 "business" days + six weeks)?

What book buyback doesn't offer a Search option in case the ISBN doesn't work? Talk about bomb crazy. Don't waste your time as there are other better, legit book buybacks like Book Scouter and Book Scouter.

Like others, I sent book and never received payment for them. I have been selling for years to other companies without incident. This company claims to need "verification" from the publisher and the book will be "quarantined by the publisher if it's authenticity cannot be verified. They are uncertain if the verification process will be completed and you will not be paid until it is... HUH? A publisher doesn't expend the effort to verify and "quarantine" a book they have NO financial interest in. This is crazy nonsense and jargon for "we are stealing your book and not paying you for it."

I didn't realize they were the same company as ecampus. If you sell books to them, expect to receive nothing from them but this message:

How are any of us supposed to know if a book is not original and how are se supposed to believe ecampus/sellbackbooks is telling the truth? How is is possible that they are sending all of these books to the publisher for verification? That is highly unlikely. Sad that they don't have one good review. This is why.
