I have shipped many books to this company and was always impressed with the turn around time and the price they paid for my used books. The process is easy, the website is super use friendly, I just type in the ISBN number of all the books I am shipping to them, print the packing slip and free shipping label and off they go. I usually get the money in less than a week via Paypal or by check. The customer service is prompt in answering questions if I have any. I've checked other prices online and this company gave me the most dollars for my books and music CDs. Totally reliable folks!
This company is deliberately informing customers that their books have mold so they won't return them, allowing the company to resell the books without compensating the customer. Customers are never provided with photographic evidence—untruthful behavior! Do not sell books to this company. They are scamming everyone. Sell books only in person.
In addition to advertising that they buy textbooks, this company operates a used bookselling operation under the name "Good Deals on Used Books" on Biblio.com. I should have noticed that they had a low rating for their fulfillment on Biblio, but I didn't think to look, and ordered from them via the Biblio marketplace. Big red flags when the package arrived - instead of the book I ordered and paid for, they sent me a crappy worthless bestseller that obviously came out of a garage sale penny bin. It arrived without a real receipt, just a paper slip with a bar code and number and "sellbackyourbooks.com" on it. I wouldn't even have realized it was the same company as Good Deals on Used Books if I hadn't noticed that their customer service e-mail on Biblio *******@sellbackyourbooks.com. No return label or instructions or anything like that. I alerted them and Biblio to the "mistake," and they said if I returned the book by mail they would refund me, or I could keep the book for a 20% refund. I told them I would prefer to receive the correct book, but I suspect they never had it in stock, and their scam is sending people junk books they didn't order, hoping that people won't want the huge inconvenience of going to the post office in the middle of a global pandemic and won't want to bother with returning them. Eventually they sent me a printable return label via e-mail - no help for me since I don't have a printer or shipping supplies. Super sketchy and these people come across as scammers. Thankfully Biblio finally refunded my payment, and I recommended to Biblio that they ban these people from their marketplace. We'll see. Anyway, I recommend staying far away from them. (And when you're on Biblio, definitely check the seller rating before ordering anything!)
