Fraudulent company

Worst delivery ever

Bought something from best buy and it was shipped by them wasn't at home for sigma told the driver to make the order as a pickup from the store instead the idiot made the order as a return saying I don't want the product fro him to be paid extra

Delivery service that doesn't deliver?

Their drivers are clearly the laziest drivers around. Anytime I've had something being picked up by shipt, the "shopper" cancels it and I end up getting regular delivery. It's a complete waste of time.

I have had nothing but issues with Shipt any time we have attempted to have a delivery. Today I am trying again because my car broke down. I purchased my membership through target.com in Oct. Of 2021, and am trying to order for same day delivery from target today in Aug. 2022, where it is now showing a $9.99 fee for delivery, or prompting me to purchase the annual membership. I know my membership is active, I know it's still within the year I've paid for, so I contact target. They said the email address doesn't match and I have to contact shipt to change it to match the email from my target account. So even though they matched before, and I have never had a problem before, nor did I change the email on my account, somehow my email address on my shipt account has been changed. I called and they told me they cannot change it over the phone. Since I signed up through target and never got the shipt app or used their website, I don't have an account to log into. I created an account with my correct email address, but there is no way to link it to my shipt membership. When I purchased the membership through target, no membership number of any sort was provided. So now I have absolutely no way to access my membership and they are unable or unwilling to help me! I'm just completely screwed out of the last few months of the membership I paid for. Absolutely will NOT be ever using shipt again and I do not recommend it. Shipt is completely unreliable and seems super scammy considering how they just took my $99 and never provided me with a membership number, then allowed my email address to be changed somehow (hacked?) without my knowledge or consent and no way for me to change it back and retrieve my account.

My shopper had completed my order through Target yesterday for $186 and was ready to leave store. There was some error on their computer system so they canceled the order! She called me as she was on hold. I called Shipt, All they could say was Sorry and it would take 10 DAYS to refund my money and the entire order would have to be placed again and re-shopped. Your bank card is charged within 30 seconds of the order being placed from from Target. NEVER AGAIN. Terrible customer service on both ends for a waste of my time, the shoppers and shame on Target for just canceling and Shipt for doing absolutely nothing! Here is the order information Aug 25,2022:

I have been really happy with shipt. I like that they don't have any hidden fees and i can sign up to have free delivery for a yearly fee. I am very grateful for this service and how it saves me time. It is also very easy to find the things you want or need. You also have the option to use different stores, such as target and petco. I just love it and it's really changed my life. No more lists, no more having to forget!

We received a gift card from friends while wife had cancer treatments. First, there was no way to check gift card balance. We ended up placing an order which arrived. We tried again with a second order to see if there was any funds remaining. The order got placed but never delivered as shopper could not find address. In addition, we went over the gift card balance by $4 as we could not see balance. Long story short, we had to purchase a second monthly membership to be able to use remaining funds. There seems to be little understanding in regards to customer service. It seems more like a scam to steal money from people trying to bless others. We originally signed up for a trial membership but cancelled after second order as we do not have service locally and we were using on a vacation to celebrate wife's recovery. Shipt really needs a better process to deal with gift cards in terms of showing balance and allowing a canceled membership to stay active until through date like every other service does. Overall, I would avoid this company like the plague.

Jewel-Osco uses Shipt to deliver their grocery orders... the first time I had ever heard of them they emailed me saying my delivery might be delivered by 3pm when it was scheduled for 9am... I called the store and had it straightened out... this last time I received a text saying my groceries had been delivered at 8am... I went to check and there were no groceries... I called the store and they said they would resend with a different delivery service... Shipt STOLE MY GROCERIES! I am a disabled senior who depends on grocery delivery. I never received the normal email telling me what I was receiving... I never got a text saying they were on the way... and my food was never delivered. I am now out almost $200 for food I never received. I cannot send you the proof of purchase because I never received the email saying what I was receiving... and there is nothing to send a picture of as nothing was delivered.

Never again!

Never again shipt! You order delivery in the morning and deliver it to you in the evening. You wait all day! For what? You pay the delivery, you pay the tip and they postpone your delivery from morning till night without a single explanation! Rescheduled all day long!

I'm scared.

I am not feeling well. After another day of teaching elem. Kids, I decided to head straight home. I got on my target app and began ordering. Realizing I could just get it delivered rather than pickup sounds like the way to go. My gut told me something was wrong.
The delivery window was 8-9pm est. It was placed/confirm at 6:18pm.
It NEVER CAME.
I kept checking because I hadn't heard much. After 9pm I tried to get in touch with Shipt. Their hold time was crazy and guaranteed under 50min but I was on for well over an hour. The first time it said less than 40min and then mentioned calling a list of stores, including Target, customer service directly to assist. I called Target and the guy said they can't do anything because it's 3rd party. So I went through my confirmation link, from target, and this guy named "Hugh" wouldn't give me clear responses and kept insisting I give it another hour or 2 to deliver. So I tried asking clearer questions, confirming it has been shopped and that it will arrive today 3/6, etc. Hugh insisted it would deliver. Still the run around and just wait. He said he'd transfer me to help, but they're closed in that dept until morning. I emailed Shipt support during that chat time and still have no response. I called twice and tried to chat online with Shipt; you can't get through. I tried chatting through my target confirmation link again and that lady said she can't see any of my info just the order date and I'll have to wait for the Shipt team to come in. Nobody will help or assist from Target nor their acquired company, Shipt. I'm not even able to process a refund or cancel until tomorrow. But that will take up to 7 days and I needed the stuff now.

The lack of care from these 2 companies is a huge red flag. I love Target, but man they messed up royally buying this company out. At 4:46am on 4/8 I received a response to my email: they couldn't make delivery window and rescheduled for this morning 9-10. So unprofessional! I work during the day. Fortunately, I took off because I'm sick, but the principal is that normally I wouldn't be home. Also, I expected it last night with my soup and OTC stuff. I told them it needs to deliver and asked to prices a refund for their Shipt fee.

Terrible company

They are a terrible company, they take advantage of their customers by overcharging and won't refund you unless you complain, upon complaint they apologize and tell you that they have issued a refund but they really have not until you complain again. That kind of business practice is dishonest and I will never shop with them again

Horrible service

Worth Every Penny

Shipt is the best—shoppers are fast, efficient and helpful; customer service is outstanding! On the rare occasion that an item is missing or past it's sell by date, customer service gives an immediate credit. The shoppers text me when they start my order and keep in touch with me throughout the process. I can't say enough good things about this service. It's worth every penny.

The culture is unreasonable. You must deliver furniture, space heaters, etc in a projected 1 hour time frame. We are not a moving company. Kelly Caruso is a terrible CEO and promotes intolerance and unrealistic expectations. Customer fraud for missing items with proof of delivery is not addressed. Email "support" is the only contact method with no response. Must maintain 4.7 ratings or deactivation but platform cannot keep over 4.0 elsewhere. Pay does not include travel time to order pickup. "Rating Forgiveness" is a joke and seems to be automated and arbitrary. Data usage is gigabytes per hour and crashes constantly.

Shipt is a third-party entity, your order is $5 to $35 more than the annual membership fee ($99), tip to shopper (20% or better) and due to the member fee, no delivery charge. The last order I had gotten the receipt in a bag for my order. It came to $99.33. Tip:$26.03. The charge on my card? $150.38. Explanation: because Shipt is a third-party you will be charged anywhere from $5 to $35 extra that does not come off after your order is delivered. They are a third-party and can charge that much. Being a disabled person that cannot walk or drive, this is not acceptable. Ever. Check for your receipts and be aware of this added extra.

Been with Shipt for over 2 years, I am happy with it. I am a flexible person so substitution never bothered me. I think one of the reasons is that I only need basic and common stuffs. Shoppers are good at communication and delivery my orders as instructed. The price of Shipt is good compared to Instacart, just a membership free without no additional fees for each order.

Worst delivery service EVER! Customer Service is a joke. I placed a Target order that was supposed to be delivered between 2-3 pm. I tracked my order online, which said that it was 'on its way'... it said this for hours. I thought maybe they were just busy, so I waited until 6 pm to call and check on my order. Shipt told me that my order was canceled due to a 'processing' error (no further detail was provided). There was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION about my order being canceled! They told me to call Target and tell them what happened to get a refund. I called Target --- who then told me to call Shipt --- which I did (again). Shipt told me that they would refund my order. I ended up getting a refund FOR ONLY PART OF MY ORDER THAT THEY CANCELED! I am on my 7th phone call to try to find out why I am still being charged for part of my order. Now, after just a few minutes on 'hold' the phone just disconnects. I have called multiple numbers for both Target and Shipt. Keep in mind that Target is parent company of Shipt... DONE WITH BOTH OF THEM!

NEVER ANY TIME SLOTS
April 15, 2020

Why would a company have you take the time to fill your cart and when you try to check out there are no time slots. This has been going on for over a month. Prices are crazy expensive but at the very least inform people there are no time slots and you just wasted an hour out of your day.
