“Great Delivery Service”

Been with Shipt for over 2 years, I am happy with it. I am a flexible person so substitution never bothered me. I think one of the reasons is that I only need basic and common stuffs. Shoppers are good at communication and delivery my orders as instructed. The price of Shipt is good compared to Instacart, just a membership free without no additional fees for each order.

Shipt is the worst delivery service. It's horrible. I used Shipt twice in the past and without my knowledge the company enrolled me in a membership. I never asked or agreed to this. I disputed all charges and my money was returned, the company had no documentation or proof that I had enrolled in there services.

Lazy, disrespectful attitude. To lazy to call and explain. Disgusting service. Target needs to stop using them

I I no longer use shipped as my shopping provider. I have gone to instacart and the service has much improved.

I have had nothing but issues with Shipt any time we have attempted to have a delivery. Today I am trying again because my car broke down. I purchased my membership through target.com in Oct. Of 2021, and am trying to order for same day delivery from target today in Aug. 2022, where it is now showing a $9.99 fee for delivery, or prompting me to purchase the annual membership. I know my membership is active, I know it's still within the year I've paid for, so I contact target. They said the email address doesn't match and I have to contact shipt to change it to match the email from my target account. So even though they matched before, and I have never had a problem before, nor did I change the email on my account, somehow my email address on my shipt account has been changed. I called and they told me they cannot change it over the phone. Since I signed up through target and never got the shipt app or used their website, I don't have an account to log into. I created an account with my correct email address, but there is no way to link it to my shipt membership. When I purchased the membership through target, no membership number of any sort was provided. So now I have absolutely no way to access my membership and they are unable or unwilling to help me! I'm just completely screwed out of the last few months of the membership I paid for. Absolutely will NOT be ever using shipt again and I do not recommend it. Shipt is completely unreliable and seems super scammy considering how they just took my $99 and never provided me with a membership number, then allowed my email address to be changed somehow (hacked?) without my knowledge or consent and no way for me to change it back and retrieve my account.

Never delivered order. Impossible to get refund. They give you the run around for weeks. Avoid at all costs. Fraudulent company

Shipt delivered an expensive Christmas gift for my daughter to the wrong house and then wouldn't help me. Do not use this company!

Worst delivery service EVER! Customer Service is a joke. I placed a Target order that was supposed to be delivered between 2-3 pm. I tracked my order online, which said that it was 'on its way'... it said this for hours. I thought maybe they were just busy, so I waited until 6 pm to call and check on my order. Shipt told me that my order was canceled due to a 'processing' error (no further detail was provided). There was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION about my order being canceled! They told me to call Target and tell them what happened to get a refund. I called Target --- who then told me to call Shipt --- which I did (again). Shipt told me that they would refund my order. I ended up getting a refund FOR ONLY PART OF MY ORDER THAT THEY CANCELED! I am on my 7th phone call to try to find out why I am still being charged for part of my order. Now, after just a few minutes on 'hold' the phone just disconnects. I have called multiple numbers for both Target and Shipt. Keep in mind that Target is parent company of Shipt... DONE WITH BOTH OF THEM!

Shipt.com has no I-9 Verification. All you need as a Shipt shopper is to provide the following:

Your name
Your address
Your contact phone number
You email
Your Social Security number (which was stolen)
For Direct Deposit - your bank account routing number and account number
A copy of your driver's license
Proof of Insurance for the car you are using, even if it is not in your name.

In New York State, if your Identity is stolen and and you have an online account with the Dept. of Motor Vehicles, the person who stole your identity can request a replacement license with their address. If you have an enhanced driver's license, they can't do that.

At the end of the tax year, you(the ID victim) will get a 1099NEC, showing you earned X amount from Shipt, and you will have to pay tax on that amount. The ID thief makes the money, you pay the taxes.

The other possibility is that someone at Shipt works with ID thieves, sends the money to their bank account knowing that you, the ID theft victim gets the tax bill and splits the money with the ID thief. This is also a way in which big corporations get around the money-laundering laws.; because it looks like a legitimate transaction. When the ID thief lists that address, they use their actual address, so they get the 1099NEC and you get a call from the IRS about unreported income later in the year.

I know this can happen, because it happened to me. I am permanently disabled and I cannot work. I have all the paperwork and the emails that I sent to Shipt and the responses from Shipt.

To protect yourself, get an enhanced license, accepted by the federal government, and if you can get the ID thief's address, you can file a change of address form with USPS, with your name and the corrected address, so any information can be sent to you.
