I purchased a $3,000 credit package in 2021 and was told the credits do not expire. So, I was in no hurry to use the credits. In 2023, Simply Noted decided to change their terms that the credits expired after 1 year. So, they retroactively wiped out my account with no notice. In January 2024, I realized my credits were gone and have tried for 4 months to have my missing credits reinstated. Their solution is for me to pay more money to have them reinstated or have a colleague pay $1,000 for their services which seems inherently unfair. Their Customer Service reps are random people (never a name provided) so you never know who is responding on which day. One of the more professional reps offered a partial reinstatement which I was willing to consider just to move on, but then Customer Service stopped replying to emails. Even 2 emails to the CEO, Rick Elmore, have gone ignored. So, it is clear that their intention is to keep my money. I hired a company to "look back" at their website terms back in 2021. I have proof that the change in their terms and conditions was made between April -December 2023. Prior to April 2023, their terms of service did not include an expiration. Between losing so much money and then being ignored when they know they are wrong, I would never recommend this company.
