I love Softmoc weather you go in person or online, it is a great customer experience. Now they even offer payment plan through their website, so that you can pay off with 4 payments which is so great! With my last order I actually had a $40 Reward that I could use toward purchase. They are just awesome.
Poor customer service. SoftMoc does not care about their customers. No help from representative nor the rep's manager. Unable to return boots that ran small. Would not allow to ship return as across border. Will never look at another SoftMoc item again.
I bought the Muse boots, treated them 3 times with Soft Moc's "waterproofing" spray and after wearing them 4 times my socks around my toes were completely wet after walking in slushy snow in a couple of parking lots for no more than a few minutes while doing errands getting in and out of my vehicle. It's not even like I was going for a long walk in snow. What's the point of boots if your feet get wet?
Bought a pair of vans skate shoes online at Softmoc. After about 1 month of light use, the soles started coming away from the shoe. As per instructions on their website, I took them to the local store at seven oaks shopping centre in Abbotsford. The store manager rejected the return and said that these shoes are not for everyday use, a claim that is not stated on either the Softmoc website, or on the Vans website. I tried contacting their "customer service" online and they said that it's normal wear and tear. These shoes are 1 month old. This is disgraceful customer support and a shameful management approach.
Don't waste your time or money with softmoc sheepskin slippers. I go a pair for Xmas & within 3 months they look in worst shape than my UGGS that I've had for 2 years. The staff at the Red Deer, Alberta location are so rude I will not go in there.
When a website claims that online returns are free, Softmoc lied. I contacted their customer service to complain about a pair of defective $64 slippers. Softmoc asked me to return them by mail at my expense, and they would determine whether or not they were defective once they received them. $ to purchase, $ to return them and $ to get them back. Expensive slippers! Horrible customer service.
Ordered a pair of sandals, 130$ before taxes. Tried them on when they arrived by mail, too big even though my size! Wore them 2 minutes, TOO BIG. They returned them back to me saying they were worn. Wrote to explain, nope, they maintain the shoes were worn and that is that! Now stuck with expensive shoes that don't fit. ******* is my order number incase Softshmuck give a crap!
Soft moc has the worst customer service ever! Managers don't deal with the problems arising and they try to SCAM people out of their money and rights! I bought an Ugg that was deemed defective by Ugg company and the company asked me to take it back to softmoc (where originally purchased) for an exchange as it was still within the 90 days and they have refused to do anything about it, not an exchange nor anything. Paid $120 for it and basically it is unwearable. Worst company to deal with and their personnel are even worse
Been shopping with softmoc a few years already, before pandemic instore mostly but decided to use online option and result is the same. I got nice pair of sandals for this summer. Maybe some delay from customer support stuff
I was in the Conestoga mall in Waterloo yesterday in Soft Moc to look at sneakers. The service was terrible. All the sales clerks were young men. There were maybe three or four of them supposedly working but one was busy on his cell phone, two were busy talking to young girls. They spent a lot of time in the storage room talking and laughing. I had three shoes in my hands wanting to try on. After about 10 min of waiting a young fellow came out and asked if I wanted help. He came back out with two boxes of shoes and handed them to me. I had shopping bags and a purse so it was hard to carry the boxes. When I opened the boxes one of them only had one shoe in it. I did notice that everyone trying shoes on were not getting help. I put the shoes on the floor and walked out. While I was in there another woman asked the woman on the till if she was the manager. She told the manager that she was being ignored. The manager was overwhelmed and flustered. I will not be returning to this store
