They blanket-disapprove your campaigns, even when they approved nearly identical campaigns, and don't tell you why. Zero transparency and cooperation. Guaranteed waste of your time at this point. They're probably scared of losing MSN or other premium traffic platforms right now. In the process of acting on this fear, however, they are going to lose their biggest paying clients. And you can bet that, if you're not spending on a large ad budget, they'll pay even less attention to you.
Set up the account, added the credit card, before we could even do our first ad, we get notified that our landing page was misleading. Website landing page had one full sentence. Account was disapproved and closed. Upon reviewing the post here, I really hope they change or they will not have clients. Never have we ever been treated this way. We sent an email asking for someone on their staff to assist us with the ads. We get shut down. Really, people. Guess they don't need clients or have bills to pay.
I wouldn't trust them as far as I can spit, I automatically blacklist all their ads and redirect urls via their domain and sub domains, worst company even worse than the other ad companies out there, just today I ended up watching two ads of websites that are reported as scam and phishing...
Sucks. Total wast of time. Misleading. False headlines. Avoid this site. Last one I saw was a woman with big breasts hunched over clutching her midsection and this was for prostrate symptoms.
When they send you a contract to sign, make sure they don't lock you with any mandatory period of time to run them.
Even if their representative agrees on dropping some of the conditions from the contract make sure you'll have that in writing. They will not honor their promises unless it is in writing.
If you'll decide to drop them, they will not pay the money they still owe you, which is about month and a half of your traffic. You will not see those money.
I'd recommend to use some other ad providers, Taboola pays about the same or less, but not honest with their payments if you go away from them.
I don't know what the problem is. Maybe they just do not like their customers or perhaps they are disgruntled. These people are off the chain! In my site I advertise turmeric tea that helps with sleep. They told me my ad is unacceptable because to advertise a tea that enhances sleep is a "medical claim." In order to run my ad now, I need to site scientific research and so forth. I would totally agree with them if my product did not work, but because it is a truly great product that helps relax people, I don't see I to eye with them.
Many companies pay money to advertise these fake gimmick products that don't work. I bought Prevagen yesterday from GNC and I found out it doesn't work. Turmeric Tea has helped people relax for 5000 years in the past, and if we manage to survive our against our own stupidity on earth, the custom of drinking Turmeric tea will still be here 5000 years ahead from now. I guess I am just fed up.
Come to think of it, nobody tells Coca-Cola that they need to stop advertising because High-Fructose syrup is making people who drink it diabetic. Alcohol the same. Its only when a person tries to advertise something positive do they become harassed. If I owned a liquor store and advertised on Taboola I would have no problem! Buy the F****** boose. But Turmeric tea sets of a big nasty red flag.
Taboola will steal your location info, and make fake ads that don't make any sense, with vaguely related images, these ads are either scams or clickbait, and will never lead you anywhere useful.
As a user of the internet, I urge you to find anywhere else to spend your marketing dollar. Taboola is clickbait. They plaster what interesting content with so many ads that you cannot read the content much less the ads.
I filled out a small form about my business and the next thing I know, they pulled $103 out my account without warning. In my dashboard, it says I had 83 clicks and they are suppose to be. 73 a click so something definitely does not ad up so I cancel and check my own stat counter and it seems that I only had 3 unique visits during that time frame and I bet there were 3 employees of the company. It's a rip off and I wouldn't try it again.
So, I have an app that shows the location of the person and the items they look at and also sends them a message when they first come on the website and when they return, It keeps this record and shows me each time someone logs in. Today is Nov 5th, I started Taboola Oct 19th, Everyday I was seeing the same what I thought were people coming to the website and going to the same page but never purchasing anything or going to any other page, they were doing this, sometimes 3-4 times a day the same what I thought were people. Then I started to see a pattern and realized this is a FAKE BOT STEALING MONEY FREAKING SYSTEM they have going on, took me a month to figure out they are fake and use bots to steal your money! 98% of the so called people 9BOTS) that came to my website where the Same BOTS looking at the same exact thing every time! BEWARE!
Answer: Taboola is a joke, literally a joke. I went to sign up, thier site didn't ask me to set a password, it didn't have a start date, an end date or a budget amount to set? They did however ask me for a credit card to get started. LOL
Taboola has a rating of 1.5 stars from 28 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Taboola most frequently mention and credit card. Taboola ranks 561st among Advertising sites.
