All my items were backordered and no email to let me know about back order. When I called the girl seemed to have an attitude saying we dont let people know that items are backordered. She told me my items would be shipped out Monday 2 weeks later I called again talked to a guy was friendly and helpful told me they would be getting them Monday then they will ship out. I got 2 items out of my order. I dont remember how many items I ordered. Then they just canceled the rest.
I would have waited for the rest. But no communication when items are backordered is not good business. I was told by 8 other people they had same problem and wouldn't order from you again. Those are just people I fish in a club with. I'll pay more elsewhere to get better service.

Lost my tension cap fishing on my bait caster. And needed to go fishing the next weekend and it was there before the weekend started so I didn't miss my fishing trip. Delievered very fast and was an awesome color
I live in Ohio and enjoy surf fishing on the beach in north carolina. So inorder to prepare for trips to the surf I order from Tackle direct. Great selection and great service...that way i can maximize my time in the suds!
Everything from tackle direct was excellent, very happy with delivery, packaging, and customer service was excellent as well. I wasn't happy with the product i ordered but, tackle direct took very good care of me and I will order again and again because they have excellent service.
Your purchase process was great but when I realized that the shipping address was wrong I couldn't get your system to let me make a change. The postal service was even worst but we did finally get the merchandise to the correct address.
Products and pricing are good thru TackleDirect, but delivery option (USPS) is terrible. For this delivery., USPS would not leave the items (even though this was requested online), and left a notice for customer to sign for re-delivery. Notice was signed, and USPS subsequently lost the items. Customer had to follow up multiple times over a period of two weeks. Finally the items were tracked down and delivered. This was in San Diego, CA. TackDirect needs to have other options for shipping, so that the customer can select the one that works best for them/their area. Probably won't order thru TackleDirect, just based on the lack of shipping options.
The service they offer you couldn't be more happy with tackledirect. I'm so glad they had the manufacture codes for fishing rode, here in Australia they just don't do that so you never know what the product is.

St croix rod was back ordered but was never told that. Had no clue when it would show up. Can understand the back order but was left hang n. Rod showed up in good condition and eventually there was comunication once i emailed. Have had good experiences with ta kle direct
Product was back ordered so took a while to get it. When it got here was advertised to be waterproof. Is not even close to waterproof. Soaked thru first use that it rained. But I did get what I was supposed to get appx when I was supposed to get it, so cant fault this company.

I bought a Loomis rod. I have emailed tackle direct twice and no one's getting back to me. I would like to return this rod back and get the rod I was expecting. If someone does not get back to me I'm calling Loomis corporate. I'm so disappointed in the customer service.
I was surprised to find exactly the fishing line I was looking for. I had checked several sites before I found this one. Most of them had only 150yd. Spools of the wrong diameter line for my purposes.
When my wife first placed the order. She had inputted it wrong, so I sent numerous emails to the service web site with no response. I had to reach out to the Avet Reel Rep to make contact finally the Tackle Direct for a response. Receive the first order incorrect, so it was rejected. Finally made contact with Tackle Direct and the order was fixed and resent. Received correct order. Thanks
Ordered momoi hicatch monofilament fishing line because of all the good reviews I had read. Don't know whether I received a bad spool, but the line was really weak and I had several break offs while using it. Not the most expensive line, but not the cheapest either. I expected more from the product.
I ordered board shorts,I tried to change the size before they shipped and was told it wasn't possible. I was told I would have to send them back in order to exchange the size. Again I contacted the store before the order had shipped.
Order # *******. Placed order and never received it. I saw the money was already taken from my PayPal account. When I called about it I was told that the product was not available. Why did I have to call to have the money refunded? Why wasn't it automatically done? Pretty disappointed.

The Seigler reel I received had a mechanical issue with the drag and drag lever. It was stuck in the free spool position and yet the spool would turn when the reel handle was turned. It was though there was some drag in free spool. The drag lever was frozen and could not be moved. Also learned someone else had a similar problem on the net. This particular reel came without any written material at all. It was as though the Seigler was just tossed (with a very nice bag) in a box and sent on its merry way. On the positive side the Seigler is beautiful in appearance! I am planning a ( read as expensive) charter. And felt even if the reel was repaired, I would not be able to (fully) trust it on this particular trip. I requested TackleDirect to grant an in store credit and returned the item. The request was granted.
I have 2 items on backorder. I received an automated response to check on whether I had received my order but the only response choice I had was to say yes I have received my order which lead me to this survey. So I am wondering what will happen to my B/O hooks at this point?
I thing the continue shopping button at the cart need some changes after I click it I can't change the color of the living room looking that I have to push back twice to get back at that page but other than that loved it we'll just see how fast it gets hear
I ordered 2 Daiwa Lexa HD reels. 1 HS-P and 1 XS-P. The box for the XS-P was very heavily damaged. I am very picky about my reel boxes as I keep them all for every reel i ever buy. The reel inside was not damaged in anyway but the box is beat up. Wish I had a new one. I tried calling the store to see if I could get a different one, got put in the cue to receive a call back but never got a call back so I gave up. Look, I love Tackle Direct but trying to get them on the phone is next to impossible. Guys, please pick up the phone!
Answer: Yes, other companies I have used for online purchases are much better with communications and customer service.
