I ordered a Lews baitcasting combo. I specified a left handed reel but was sent a right handed reel. I contacted TD about the issue, their response was that combo had only right handed reels, yet the order form did not specify this fact and allowed me to complete the order anyway. Now I'm stuck with it unless i choose to return the reel AND rod but I have my doubts that will be processed correctly. They should have offered me a suitable exchange but did not.
Ordering was easy. But I paid for expedited shipping. I did not receive the boots I ordered when I should have. I understand with COVID limiting shipping but I was charged and waited for almost an additional week. Tackle Direct was easy to deal with but the shipping was subpar.
Products and service are first quality, however your shipping policy for Puerto Rico needs to be revised. USPS delivers for a fraction of the cost. Basspro shops delivers to the same address for FREE.
First and foremost tackle direct and customer service is outstanding, product wasn't in stock but was available from one of their vendors, I called to check status and customer service rep was very helpful and it was two or three days after calling that the primal 12HS arrived, this reel is a beast for the small size, it is very smooth with very smooth drag and holds a lot of braid and is lightweight but it's a tank
I ordered a rod and braided line on April 26th. I received the line today on May 27th. Still no word on the rod. If the rod doesn't get here this is the most expensive braided line I have ever purchased. I will look elsewhere for my fishing needs in the future.
I'm still waiting on items from the orders ******* and ******* I've continued to attempt contact and have had no luck at first I understood due to Covid there were difficulties, but eventually there were no response emails and that's frustrating I spent over $600 with this company and haven't received my orders in full this is not ok.

I've given tackledirect my credit card and a few minutes after doing that, my credit card number was stolen. A few days later, I got a new credit card and gave the number to tackeldirect and a few minutes after having placed the order, my credit card number was stolen again. The internet/security/ordering system/staff at tackledirect is terrible. I will never do business with tackledirect again and I guarantee the problem is with tackledirect and not me or my computer.
Recieved my order but shirt was not the one I ordered, after several back and forth emails it was finally determined the shirt I ordered was no longer available (don't know why I wasn't informed of this to give me the option of changing or cancelling my order instead of sending me another totally different shirt).
I decided to keep the shirt TD sent me, they also said they would give me a ten dollar reward
The only thing I had concerns about where the differnt arrival times. I had to keep a hold of my original order and check every thing off as it arrived. I think it was 3 differnt packages on differnt days just wish that way layed out for you on the order page so you would know what to expect in each package. But all in all very satisfied with my purchases and the price I got them@. It was a nice touch to get the free sticker. Not only is it free advertising for you but it looks great on my plano boxes
