I was an avid Target fan years ago when they sold brands that people actually liked and wanted to wear. Then for some reason, who ever they have as buyers lately, are totally missing the mark, esp on clothing. I never see anyone looking (or buying) their clothes these days. I only buy here for my 5% off w/Red card purchases on certain items. Have no idea if they can 'recoup' as they've been 'in the dumps' now for years imo.
I have had good luck with some things from Target, and some not so good. They are getting better on keeping there stores clean.

This is our last visit to Target. It's only self checkout. Although it is a good way to steal an item, I prefer a person to check out my stuff.

Horrible experience! Based on order **************! The website showed 4 containers of Byotrol24 - they were marked available! I ordered, the payment went through, THEN a few days later there was a back order. ONE container was sent with 4 containers of Clorox Bleach. I chatted with a service rep named "ROBERT" who offered a gift card for the inconvenience.
The Byotrol24 and 3 containers of Clorox were set to be delivered tomorrow. Well, I just checked my order status and this ROBERT had cancelled my order which was set to be delivered TOMORROW. So the ONLY container of Byotrol24 has now been cancelled! Why would he do that? Because it is in demand? This is Shady, dishonest, and poor business practice for a company that provides eCommerce options! It sounds like corruption. I have already called another service rep and all he could do is offer a $10 gift card. So an ENTIRE order of Bytrol24 "Disappeared?" Target is the worst company I have EVER dealt with. I am considering contacting an attorney and going to the media (including posting this on a website for potential consumers to see).
So if a product is in demand someone just "marks it" as "out of Stock" THEN when I chat with a service rep "ROBERT" he then cancels the order of the last container of the product I can receive! Fortunately I have a transcript of the interaction with Robert! Thank God I used PayPal or next my credit card would be breached! I have never had such a terrible experience! The date is 2/4/2020 and the service rep I chatted with was ROBERT! What a SCAM!

Everything in box damaged. Shipping is never adequately protected. Boxes are way too big and flimsy! Never is there any packing.

Chips were smashed cookies have been obliterated in the past. Canned fruits and vegetables have been smashed in the past did not receive a refund last time. Doubt if I will be able to get one this time. I need to learn how to ship products if they’re going to stay in this business.

Target is an American retailing company and it is the second largest discount retailer in the United States behind Walmart. Some of their subsidiaries are: Target Brands, Inc, Target Sourcing Services, Target Global Trade, Inc. among others. Many subsidiaries indeed. So there will be a lot of raves and or reviews about such a company, because of its size and the fact that many Americans and People from around the world will be doing business with this company.
I have not personally done any great shopping at a Target store, in terms of shopping but, what I can say is that I love the layout of the store. I also love the way they arrange their items on the website, many items on one page and easy navigation to the other items on the left that makes it easy to find the products without getting impatient. Great way of finding and shopping at Stores at different locations.
I have friends who do online shopping at Target and as far as I know I have never gotten a bad report or review from them. They usually say they enjoy the free shipping, great items, real value for money and great discounts so I can only base those comments on what my friends say.
In regards to negative comments about target; I do read reports about delay in shipping though but I cant say this is my comment since I have never had them ship anything for me. I have also read negative reports from customers who believed that they have been discriminated against because of their skin color. Customers have also complained about attendants not treating them with respect and giving the kind of customer care they should give. So if there is truth in this I would recommend that Management step up to the plate and deliver. I know that people will always complain even if they are dealing with a perfect business and perfect customer service representatives. People will be people but, never let it be true when the comments are negative.
What I do know via the media though is that Target has been given legitimate status by a recognized organization that vets online Pharmacies and was given legal status. So I think that is a big plus for Target. Go Target, keep doing what you are doing and do it better y as long as you can.

I ordered an above ground pool on 8/1/2013. Web site said delivery date would be between 8/8-8/13. The delivery date was very important!
They waited a whole week to let me know the order was "delayed" and wouldn't arrive until the 20th-22nd. I immediately called and cancelled the order on the 7th, and then got an email later that day that my order had "shipped". I use quotes because the order did not actually ship, according to UPS, until the 19th.
However, the entire time their customer service insisted the package was en route with UPS and would arrive on the 20th-22nd. My only option would be to refuse the package when it gets here and wait for a refund. It didn't end up arriving until the 26th. Unbelievable. Now I have to wait two weeks for a refund.
Every time I called customer service they just lied about the package shipping and the delivery date. Look at other reviews - this seems par for the course. Claim a delivery date, then keep delaying, deliver it even later, and hold the customer's money for 1 - 2 months. Will absolutely never, ever order from target.com again.
