I've been trying to schedule a mental health visit with these idiots for 2 months now. *2* months. And every single time, the therapists confirm the scheduled visit...THEN CANCEL IT. I honestly don't get it?!?! Where do they find these slap$#*! people? Oh, I was mistaken, my FIRST appointment, the therapist was a straight up no-show. No message, no cancellation, just didn't show up. Hung out in the video call like a dummy for 20 minutes. Unreal. Pay the extra money, go find a REAL therapist somewhere else. I dunno where Teladoc are contracting these feebs but if they can't even show up to an appointment, it's probably not worth your time.
I had a severe reaction to a prescription and they would not give me a new one without a new appointment and charging me again. Awful service. Very disappointed and bad customer service. Also, rude. What a scam to steal peoples money. Shame on you.
I relocated from Buffalo, NY lived there my entire life up to 34 & am 35 now) w/ my husband & our 4 daughters down to Tampa, FL. After the struggle of switching everything to here, getting to appts is hard bc my husband works 6 (usually 7) days a week & we share a vehicle. Health Ins. Informed me of Telehealth options, & since Jaunary, I've been using it & have nothing but great experiences with each doctor, each appt. I highly recommend them & don't be concerned w/ privacy at all! Thx Teledoc!
Really easy to take your money with absolutely no results in your healthcare! What a scam and a rip off
I think it's absolutely ridiculous that the clinic is unable to provide a doctor's note after the appointment. I was told that I should have requested the note during my appointment, however I did not know that my employer would require one. The reason they explained, is that they don't have a record of which doctor I've seen and would be unable to contact him. How can you not keep detailed medical notes? She also told me, even if she could get in touch with the original doctor, it was unlikely he would remember the details of our appointment enough to write the note now (3 days later)
On June 12th at 1pm, I paid $75 to Teladoc Health, Inc. for a doctor consultation due to a two-week-long cold that has progressively worsened. During the consultation, I specifically mentioned using nose sprays, cough medicine, and expressed the need for a stronger treatment to alleviate the cold. The doctor acknowledged my request and assured me of ordering a prescription for antibiotics, steroid nasal spray, and additional cough medicine. However, upon attempting to fill the prescription, I discovered that there were no antibiotics included, only over-the-counter medications that I already have. When I reached out to Teladoc Health, Inc. again, they insisted on an additional $75 payment to see a different doctor. Despite explaining my situation as a sick Veteran unable to leave due to the fires in NYC and being on a budget, their response displayed a lack of concern and understanding. I am reaching out for urgent assistance in resolving this matter. I kindly request your intervention to ensure that Teladoc Health, Inc. addresses their failure to provide the promised prescription and their unsatisfactory customer service.
I've had 4 out of 4 appointments as no-shows with 3 different doctors! Don't use this service for mental health/ psychiatric services. They will make you wait in the virtual "waiting room" for an hour and not show every-single time.
I paid more than $70 for consultation which they refused and they refused a refund.
I filed a complaint with a BBB and they sent me three automated messages telling me just to accept it that they weren't going to pay me back and then they called me to tell me the same thing
I paid to speak to a doctor, if I'm not allowed to speak to a doctor I need my money back
They are very unethical company who just want money from you. Please do yourself a favor, don't use this company. I used it for the first time for medication refill and they still charged me when the doctor did not give me a refill. And no, it was not narcotic or any of the meds that listed that they cannot refill. The call was literally 1-2 minutes. The doctor said they will issue refund. When i called the customer service they said no matter if they provide service or not, once the call started no refund. It's a thief. I will never use this and other people need to know how bad this company is.
Talked with a doctor for not even 4 minutes just for him to tell me he can't help my son and hung up.
I'm lucky it was a free session and I didn't have to pay 50 dollars just to be hung up on.
Not worth it at all.
Had the most incompetent unprofessional doctor on the call, Anthony Luis. The call lasted all couple minutes. He did not ask any questions, and the diagnoses he put in was the most ridiculous one, he did not even discuss with me. It seems as he was just rushing to send me off some place else and cut the call as soon as possible. 2 hours later received help I needed from Sesame. Would never use Teladoc again.
I repeatedly requested they delete my account. I've never used their services. They won't respond and won't delete, or tell me how to. I tried changing all my info with fictitious data, but they won't let me delete prescriptions or insurance info. DO NOT TRUST THEM. You have no control over what data they keep on you.
If I could, I would put -1 star.
You will not get ANYTHING from Teledoc. Absolutely the worst. I used them once and did not get any help. The doctor said he could not give a prescription for a common issue.
Two years passed, and I decided to give them another try on another (different) common problem. Exactly the same result. The doctor said according to Teledoc rules, she had to refer out.
What do they actually do? Nothing but collecting the $$$. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. NEVER AGAIN WILL USE TELEDOC. PERIOD.
It's very hard to contact anyone/reps are nasty and untrained/customer experience is horrible/and the rep named Jessica was a the worse of them all! I actually had to ARGUE with her today in the middle of a bipolar episode seeking help! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
To even make it to the long list of therapists to choose from who will treat you like a check-list of symptoms, you will need to sign in; an impossible task since the "change your password" links don't work. The website will not recognize any new password despite following the process correctly. You can always try calling and listen to classical music keyed too high and a message every 30-seconds telling you that your wait time is 10-minutes...over the next 20-minutes until I decided to hangup and find real help.
I had appt < 24 hrs after my wife got seen for same exact symptoms and got antbio only to be told i was unvaccinated and i told her I would never get vaccinated her whole demeanor changed. And she refused any other medication or advice for the same exact illness which my wife is now recovering and I was refused care because Im a vax denier. Teledoc needs to fire this doctor
Hello. I have systemic lupus erythematosis and I constantly take a steroid cream called clobetosol. After they have spoken to me a few times got to know me in my medical history, now that my case has gotten more than the basic limitations of what you normally see they are refusing treatment. I don't mean normal I just mean very basic. They've only ever given me skin cream in a couple of antibiotics before when I had an ear infection. I pay my insurance digilantly and they are refusing treatment to me. I've practically begged on my hands and knees for a antibiotic it's not like I'm asking for drugs I'm literally asking for treatment. Begging over and over and over again for them to help me. I have Amber of Georgia and they are refusing treatment
I used this service for the first time because it came highly recommended from colleagues. I didn't want to spend hours in the emergency room so I called them with concerns of strep throat. The first doctor told me that there's a 50/50 chance it's strep, and just to keep an eye on it for now and call back if it gets worse. I called back a few hours later because it did in fact get worse. The second doctor finally prescribed antibiotics but unfortunately they weren't strong enough so my symptoms worsened until I eventually went to the emergency room with completely white tonsils.
After 13 hours at the hospital and the worst pain I've ever had, the HOSPITAL gave me antibiotics and a 7 day prescription. Everything went well until I finished my prescription a few days ago. My throat started hurting again, likely because I needed to be on the antibiotics for a few more days, and I could see a small bit of white left on my tonsils. I called Teladoc to see if they could extend my prescription or refill it, and this doctor was the worst one yet. She immediately asked about my previous appointments with Teladoc, before saying she needed to look at my throat. She FaceTimed me and looked at my throat for half a second in terrible lighting, before saying it looked viral and I just need to gargle some salt water and didn't need antibiotics.
2/3 doctors made me feel like I was just asking for drugs without reason. Someone please explain how I was doing extremely well on antibiotics but as soon as I stopped, my condition started coming back again, but yet I don't need antibiotics?
I don't know how one gets high off antibiotics but maybe ask these doctors because they seem to think that's what's we do. They do nothing but gaslight you and waste your time.
I would hope that when service is provided online, the provider would invest in a functional website. Not so with Teladoc. I've learned that the website will only work on some browsers but recently had trouble scheduling basic appointments because of web issues on all major browsers. The web problems are very basic, but extremely frustrating and impossible to resolve. Each time my website froze or link didn't work, I decided not to bother and suffer through symptoms but I imagine many people don't have this luxury.
Answer: It seems legit for the company but many providers just use it a a conveyor belt to get 1 minute visits paid as a whole visit. They obviously are paid by call because they are so rushed.
Answer: It depends who I got. A few good people, but mostly impatient reps.
