Worst customer service and experience. Would not recommend. Made a purchase and was told I could return with a restocking fee and had to mail back and pay for costs. Which was all ok! So I place a second order knowing I could return the first one I placed... Then when I reached out about where to ship I was told I couldn't return the products(that were pricy, to say the least). No help from management, just we're sorry and can offer a $25 credit for future use! No thanks, I will not be a retuning customer nor will I ever recommend them to any of my other business partners!
Ordered some sundae cups from the website. It was promised that the item generally ships in one day. After a week I contacted customer service only to be told that it would probably ship in another week. I can't wait at least two weeks for something that I was told would come in a few days.
Ridiculous level of customer service or lack thereof. I ordered three cases of bottles one of which came with broken ones in it. Instead of refunding me for my inconvenience they issued me a whopping $2.41 for "One broken bottle" after informing that they would make me whole for the entire case. Mind you I offered to return the remaining bottles to the store. The 3rd case arrives and the clasps will not seal properly leaving me unable to place the liquid in them that I intended to deliver to 12 of my clients as a Christmas gift so now the store has inconvenienced and cost me money twice not to mention my word to my clients which is a lot more valuable than the small sum spent on the bottles themselves. Instead of issuing a refund I was asked to provide video and photos then asked if I would be able to spend a few dollars sending the unusable bottles back. At this point the call was over. I have dealt with the Webstaurant's customer service over the summer and they were fabulous. This nonsense from The Restaurant store however was absolutely unacceptable. I will absorb the cost of what is now money wasted and never purchase from The Restaurant Store again in addition to informing my network of restaurant owners and clients of my experience with them. I typically do not take the time out of my day to leave negative reviews however this particular experience had to be shared,

Great care is taken when packing your order, but on rare occasions damage may occur after leaving our warehouses. I spent $530 on them, bought a heavy duty stainless steel prep table. These scam artists sent me a table w crooked legs, missing hardware (to support the table), & a scratch with a black stain. They never returned any of my calls or voicemails, only replied to a review i left elsewhere. They emailed me that they'll help soon as i send pics. Within 3 minutes my reply was sent with 6 clear pictures. 4 days later they were still ghost, so i call them n someone picked up he said he never received any pics. I sent them right there & then, he said he never saw any damages like that before and he'll send me a new one that same day. They went ghost again for A WEEK, i had no tracking number, nothing. Again, I had to call them and the replacement was never sent! I was told I'd get an email with their decision on the matter (like the decision to send me a replacement never happened)! I get the email the next day with a tracking number for the replacement & when i check fedex THAT TRACKING NUMBER DOESN'T EXIST!
