I completed a survey 45 minutes later and i submitted it and the response was invalid request. I snapped. Why dont you guys get it together. This has happened many times.
They pay on what you earn, but be prepared to do many entire surveys then when it says your done, click to submit, a box comes up after submitting that says you didn't qualify? And you've wasted the entire time it took to do the survey. I did a 40 minute survey. It said Congratulations it was done, then wasn't paid when the click to submit was clicked on. And this happens often.
Hi Joe- I sincerely apologize for the negative experience you have had on the site, and I wanted to reach out to see what I could do to help make things right. Could you please contact me at support@thriftypig.com, so we can set up a time to chat? Normally I would try to reach out to you directly, but I wasn't able to find any accounts in our system that I thought might be you. Thank you! Mary Griffin
They pay me through my PayPal payment and email amazon gift cards. They majes very happy when I give them my opinions on everything and I get rewarded
Thank you so much for your support, Sonia!
I signed up to the invitation I received, but after a while I decided to close my account because I was not having time to do the surveys. I contacted the customer service from Thriftypig and they gave a fast response and tried hard to solve my problem (that did not existe) and they are great. They are are a new website and I recommend it!
While it is true that sometimes you screen out of surveys after answering a lot of questions and spending a lot of time, I don't believe this is the website's fault. They simply route you to the survey and sometimes it isn't structured correctly so that they ask the relevant qualification questions right away. I do surveys on 8 different sites and they all sometimes route you to a survey that isn't set up very well. Of all the sites that I do surveys on, this is one of the best. I had a small technical issue with trying to cash out and contacted customer service for help. Mary gave me the instructions I should follow to avoid another glitch. I decided not to cash out until I had reached a higher dollar amount and Mary reached out to me to make sure that I wasn't still having technical issues. I highly doubt that any other site I deal with would have a customer service representative that would notice this and bother to contact me. Mary was beyond kind, respectful, and helpful. I highly recommend giving them a try and sticking with them.
Answer: Hi Robert - Thanks for reaching out! 1 coin is equal to 1 cent. Once your rewards reach 500 coins (or $5), you will be able to request your payment in $5 increments via Amazon code, PayPal or paper check. Definitely let me know if there is anything else I can help with. Mary
Answer: As I mentioned in my email to you, the Internal Revenue Service requires that any individual, LLC, LLP, etc, (and now including Corporations, Inc, PC) that earn more than six-hundred dollars ($600) in the calendar year be issued a form 1099-MISC reflecting the amounts paid. As we prepare for issuing our 1099-MISC for the year 2021, we requested that you complete a Federal Form W-9 – Request for Taxpayer Identification. Because our company has paid you more than six-hundred dollars ($600) during the previous calendar year, you will receive a 1099-MISC form from us. I have confirmed with our accountant that your tax situation has nothing to do with the IRS 1099 filing requirements for payers. Please direct any further questions to mary@thriftypig.com. Thank you.
Answer: Thank you for your time on the phone, Shannon! Definitely let me know if there is anything else I can help with. - Mary
Answer: Legit. I just joined and as soon as I reached my first level for a reward, I did it just to be sure, and it worked.
