I've rented at one of Towne Storage facilities for over 3 yrs now. They advertise, (and charge for), "Climae controlled" buildings, as well as a secure site. Neither of these is true. Every summer when the heat in Las Vegas gets to over 95 degrees, which is normal for Las Vegas, the buldings become intolerable. You can't spend more than 30 min in there without feeling as if you're going to pass out from the heat.

Every summer I'm told they're going to fix it, and yet, it has never been fixed.

On top of that, their security gates frequenlty get broken and will sit open, for months on end. Anyone can walk in off the street. Currently, there's a gate that's been inoperable for 5 months now. On ttop of that, one of the builldings has a door where the lock is broken.

Do yourself a favor. Find a better storage facility, because these guys certianly aren't it.
