For some reason, none given to me, this web-site suspended my account. I only went onto the site one time to read something & was suspended. Well, twitter can stick their site you know where. My use of E-Bay was also suspended because they said I committed fraud. Thats hard to do when you only buy & not sell, but I could care less. Several other accounts have also been suspended, ones that I never use. I don't need any of these accounts & I have suspended them!
My twitter account was hacked in 2009 with things posted that I did not write. I have tried to contact the company to have my account deleted because all of these posts are public but you cannot call them and they just keep telling me to change my password. However the person who hacked my account hacked my Email as well so I cannot get into my email to change my password. I am incredibly angry with the lack of help that twitter is providing me. I have asked them to delete my account which has been inactive since 2009 multiple times through their service email and they will not do it.
Twitter stinks now, the 'musk' is too overpowering. Like a teenage boy with a fresh bottle of Axe. Just think of all the happy memories you had with the platform over the years, before it died, started to rot and became covered up with conservative cologne. Hopefully those memories will be all that it becomes one day.
I posted a tweet reply to somebody detailing what the US did in My Lai to women, children and babies and about the 50 million litres of agent orange they dropped on the civilian population.
See screenshot for the result.
I used the personal shopper service to ship buy an exclusive product from Australia, and the entire process was a very pleasant experience. The customer support provided by Ausff would place in the top few places out of all the services I've used, being very quick, helpful and friendly in response.
I definitely would recommend this to anyone interested in getting products from the Australia that you can't get
Whenever I get involved in something new, I like to get the definitive source of information to make sure I do it right.
"Twitter Power" certainly fits the bill on that score. Lucid and well-written, the book will be my Baedeker as I navigate the world of Twitter and social media.
I only wish Comm had spent a little more time on the most basic of basics -- deciphering the Twitter interface and Twitter conventions, for example. It took me a while to figure some of that stuff out and I'm still learning.
I've had twitter since 2011, and I never had an issue before. I'm suspended for a total misunderstanding. I was talking about food, and Twitter is denying me access to my account, accusing me of "promoting self harm and suicide" and denying my appeal. I will not "delete" my "problematic" tweet because I was absolutely NOT promoting "self harm" or "suicide", I was talking about FOOD. The question I am directly replying to was "is it immoral to eat meat?" Super lame. I though Elon Musk allowed users to speak words without fearing online jail. I may never use Twitter again.
It is not a five star website but pretty useful for social media. The hardest part is using it for business; if you're not a recognized brand then it is an uphill climb to become relevant. It's telling when the most popular brands start off with hundreds of thousands of followers.
So I guess that is kind of biased from a business perspective.
My son tried 2 sign me up 4 twitter and after reading and following a couple minutes I was blocked 4 no reason! Said I cant unlock without phone number, im not giving those scumbags my number. Bad company!
I have a truckload of expletives to throw at this dictatorial app! After a couple of nonsensical lockouts for my harmless & completely justified comments, I felt my best course of action was simply to delete them from my life.@&!#%* YOU, Twitter! And your unjust Censorship!
Twitter is genuinely a best source of news, current affairs. This is the best platform for celebrities, politicians to connect with their fans. It is different from other social apps. If you want to get updated about current affairs, or what is going on around you, just login to twitter and go through the "Trends". I usually use Twitter to get updated. I will recommend you to install this app if you are interested in connecting with Public figures especially.
I created an account there to be able to enter a give away contest. But not even 5 minutes after account creation, they locked my account. They refused to allow me to unlock it with out a phone number. (Despite being told things when I sign on that submitting information like things like your phone number was optional...) I contacted twitter staff for help. But was ignored. And soon afterward asked them to just delete the account. But they refused and I am to this day being spam with notices and alerts from their site. Despite the fact I can't log in.
And oh yeah. On a side note. I found out that If I was able to actually be able to enter that contest. I would have won because I had the right answer...
You make like a swarm of 20 or more truly offensive people decending on you and harassing you.
You may not care that twitter ignores your complaints. After all, the owner was an avid trump fan until it went to far.
You decide but i don't need constant bs when I'm just trying to chat with friends.
Twitter limits free speech of those with conservative values yet allows all kinds of horrible language from liberals, especially "celebrities." (See Bette Midler among others) Their government protections from lawsuits should be lifted to allow suits brought against them for limiting free speech. Their commitment to free speech was supposedly how they received these protections. I will be contacting my senators and congressmen (one of whom is chair of the communications committee) to see these protections removed.
You are obviously run by SJWs who have a little power yet need safe spaces.
This company markets itself as being the place where you can share your thoughts through a social media platform, but what they don't say is that if your thoughts don't align with the companies political leanings, then you will be banned. Mass censorship should never be tolerated, stay free in expressing yourself... elsewhere. #FreeMilo
Twitter used to be such a handy place to get snippets of information. Now, however, Twitter and their ilk seem to be the newest version of 1984. Their hypocrisy in banning "some" people while keeping others for the same types of tweets is unbelievable. I understand its your company and you can do as you see fit, but to be so completely hypocritical in your censorship does not bode well for our future as a nation that (previously) allowed "free speech" of all kinds. I have cancelled any interest in Twitter including any investments. You are censored from my life. Good riddance.
Basically twitter, has kept me happy with their service, but the down-side is that most of all these social-media sites have millions of people on them creating fake accounts, buying tweets and followers, which never amount to anything. Fake accounts can't read. Post or reply to your messages, so why have them?
Twitter is a cesspool of everything wrong with our world. Don't bother voicing your own opinion. If it doesn't align with twitters, they'll delete it, suspend your account and make you provide all your personal information to get back on their site. Twitter promotes every type of swill known to man. Definitely not for children.
Twitter.com as well as facebook ban conservatives and let liberals say anything that they want. If you are a supporter of President Trump it gets much worse. I have made comments on both using the exact words of previous liberals commenting on the same subject and my comments are considered hate speech while liberals get a pass and can express themselves however they choose. Our FAKE NEWS media, la la land Hollywood buffons, and now social media is becoming a haven for liberal views and conservatives are locked out. Twitter and facebook both are trying to do away with free speech.
The current problem with Twitter is Freedom of speech, whether it's Republican or Democrat or Religion for that fact. I sent a form to Twitter as to give me the reason why, I'm being suspended of which they have not gotten back to me yet...
Now if Twitter keeps this practice up I don't see them being a social media platform in the coming years. Even Myspace has Freedom of speech...
I've actually moved on to different Social media platforms and networks with much less worries concerning freedom of expression. If Twitter decides to unsuspend my account fine if not well... I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
Answer: This is a common theme running through Twitter and Instagram. They unjustifiably are blocking accounts deliberately in order to obtain your personal data for financial gain. If you have nothing in which they can make money from, your account is automatically blocked and you will be waiting until sundawn, they will not respond. If enough people leave their platforms there will not be profits for them to make and would crash and burn.
Answer: I would recommend Twitter for the reasons you listed.
The company, formerly known as Twitter, has garnered significant criticism regarding its customer service and platform management. Customers frequently report issues with account access, lack of responsive support, and perceived bias in content moderation. Many express frustration over automated responses and difficulty in resolving issues, leading to a sense of abandonment. Conversely, some users appreciate the platform's potential for engagement, although this sentiment is waning. Overall, the reputation is marred by concerns over ineffective customer service and a perceived decline in the quality of discourse, prompting many to consider alternative social media platforms.
