Okay, so it does help with typing but it really wants kids to be pitch perfect, which can anger kids. Kids can cheat on it as well. And whenever it says type 2 WPM to earn 5 stars you do it again and then you have to work on your accuracy. Like its FINE chill out typing club!
Typing club is a great way to improve typing, but there is one big dumb problem. Whenever you return to fix your mistake, why would you remove your words per minute!? Also, there should be more informational articles instead of some stupid text that we already know. And finally, typing club should have more updates because it has some very poor features. Typing club is not bad, but a lot of improvements could be added.
It's incredibly spammy with ads and what they offer is inferior to free options that just aren't paying as much for google to put them at the top of the search results. It's especially trashy when educational things are sleazy.
When I do a lesson the ads show barbie life hacks, many show pregnancy.
It hates me like I wanna chill at home but my school probably has market share in them so I have to do it.
Whenever I start typing and I accidentally barely slip my finger onto a wrong key, like extremely lightly, it still somehow registers it. This site is terrible
There are an abundace of bugs and inconsistencies, and the later levels seem to get much more difficult almost exponentially. You can't improve your WPM count by ten or twenty by writing just a few paragraphs, and being expected to improve at a basically superman rate does not help in the slightest. It feels as though the developers of this site can't comprehend the fact that there might be people who type under 60 WPM. The flawed design choices make this issue even worse. For example, typing in a wrong character by accident will skip over that slot and move to the next. Because of this, skipping a character or typing twice will be detrimental to your accuracy if you're typing at 70 WPM or higher. This forces you to essentially handicap yourself at a lower WPM. The high expectations make this issue much worse, and it feels extremely frustrating at times. Other than that, the site is generally okay, and has large amounts of content and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. I would not recommend this site if you are looking to improve your typing speed or accuracy. There are much better alternatives.
I have to do this website for school and boy when I say it is bad, it is bad. The WPM counter was most likely made by a man who was drunk.
It's bad you can't type if you use this site typing.com is very very better
And typing it's very bad
