Umi Tea Sets was very quick to ship and send my order. The quality of the tea pot and cups I bought were great and they were packaged safely so they would not break. I chose Umi Tea Set to buy my first tea set since I am getting into learning about tea ceremony and tea, and so far after using the set for a few months, it has held up nicely. I had no problems and would recommend Umi Tea Sets for anyone starting out interest about tea and tea ceremony. The tea cup set was also nice (see picture included for which tea cup set I got), I could see wanting to gift it to a friend since it comes so nicely packaged and for a decent price. The website seems to have good discounts often as well, another reason to enjoy. I had no issues with their service, even though it came from China, it shipped within a couple of days and I received my package within 2-3 weeks in the US. Again, all in all I would recommend Umi Tea Sets to buy tea ware from, and would use again to get my own tea ware.

Last year, I bought a bamboo tea table from Umi Tea Sets and have since used it every day for gong fu brewing. The shipping and customer service were great and I'd definitely return to their store for more teaware down the line.

Excellent customer service and exceptional quality teaware. With help from a customer service representative, I selected and purchased my first Yixing teapot and a fair cup from them. Upon arrival, everything was packed super carefully and arrived in perfect condition. The fair cup is made from quality glass, not too thin walled, and the teapot is beautifully crafted.

Recently, I purchased the Keemun Black Tea Small Caddy set. I loved the taste of tea. I find that with every purchase that I have made from Umi Tea the quality of the product always exceeds my expectations. I like how the customer services representatives get back to you so quickly if you have a question about your order. Once when my order got lost in shipping, I contacted customer service and within fifteen or so minutes they got back to me about the issue and refunded me my entire payment for my lost order. I don't know how many places do that, but I'm thankful that Umi teas did. It made me want to order from them again, which I did. Each time I have ordered anything, they have not disappointed. I also like the variety of teas as well as the information about each kind of tea. I love how they have pretty much everything you'd need for tea. Everything from wedding tea sets to tea accessories such as tea utensil sets. Most of all, the site is so meticulously informative about each product. Anyone who likes to know what they are buying would definitely like to use this website.

I have nothing negative to say about their company at all, they arrive fast, its a fair price, and NOTHING was broken during the travel, so I could not be more pleased by this company.

I bought a set from the brand for my partner's birthday. It came just in time and it's such a beautiful piece of art.

My order was extremely late took over month to arrive. They didn't even send me an order confirmation, I had to bug them to provide me with a tracking number. When I opened to the package, I noticed that a lot of the ceramic pieces had shattered during transit. Not only that, but certain items were just left out (e.g. Sending only 1 quantity of multiple items).

What got me the most was a bait-and-switch on items in a complete tea set. They sent a completely different tea tray than what was shown in the listing, and it didn't match the set at all.

When I contacted the merchant, they told me to ship the package back to them at my cost (the cheapest option was well over $100 USD for service back to China) and refused to do anything else other than fight my dispute with the credit card companies to the bitter end.

Avoid this scam site at all costs, not only are their products low quality, they are disingenuous and will not offer any customer service on the items that you order, even if it's ENTIRELY THEIR FAULT!

I had been looking for a chinese teapot for some time and decided as part of my chinese zodiac year of the dragon to look for a dragon teapot. My intention is to collect nine different dragon items thoughout the year (inspired by nine dragon scroll) and hoped to have a dragon teapot in my small collection.
While searching I came accross Umi Tea Sets on Instagram, now I dont usually purchase anything from instagram adverts but I decided to check out the Umi website.
I am so glad I did, the large choice of tea pots was impressive and there were several dragon teapots.Dragon heaven.
I eventually decided to buy the Yixing Purple Clay double Dragon playing with beads teapot from UMI TEA SETS.
The set took about 10 days or so to arrive. Opening the box was a lovely experience in itself, it was received inside a presentation wooden box with a colourful silk protective travel cover.
The artisan workmanship of this tea pot is truly incredible, it's a piece of art in its own right.
I can tell it's been made with passion and precision, it feels just right when I lift the teapot.
The hardest decision I've had so far is should I use it or display it?
I've been so happy with my teapot that I am considering buying a second dragon teapot but could that spark a teapot collection? Oh nooo.
