This platform was working well for my freelancer, so she suggested I sign up for it and hire her through there instead of Fivver. I switched platforms and my account was immediately suspended for violation of service terms. I did no such thing and was not even given the opportunity to dispute their decision. To top it off they suspended my account and now I can't delete it. They have all of my information, including my financial information and are refusing to remove it from their site. I will be contacting the BBB about them. What a horrible company. They must not like money.

Of all the freelancer platforms out there, Upwork is certainly the best. Thanks to the many and different daily job offers, to the certainty of meeting only top professionals, and to a team always supporting every need of its community, Upwork has been able to demonstrate that freelancing is a serious thing and a true lifestyle for creatives from all over the world. Obviously there are many things that could be improved, since generally speaking it's always possible to do better, but the changes over the years have been many and each of these has brought more and more benefits to all the clients and freelancers who meet every day on Upwork with the aim of giving life to projects of all kinds.

Defiantly not worth it!

So if you use the time tracker, the freelancers can just use as much time as they want and you pay the hourly rate no matter what they do and how much they decide to use.

They say they have a low activity policy but this is a lie because they do not do anything about very low activity ratings.

The support does nothing as well.

If you leave a review and the freelance does not like it and is top rated, they can have it removed so are they really top rated lol.

Upwork is a company that I find particularly correct in what it offers for the freelancer like me. I like the harmony that emerges when I work there and the client and freelancer relationship is very good. It is a company that offers to all those who want to get into freelance.

Upwork is a friendly freelancer site for both clients and freelancers. You don't have to worry about you done the job but not getting paid or you paid but you don't get the work done. Upwork will stay in the middle and get things right.

I am truly disappointed that my application did not go through. Not because I did not qualify, but because the website/company was not transparent enough from the beginning to make it clear that there was a possibility of not being accepted as a member. I thought that the submission was a checking process to see if we were real candidates. I dont appreciate having to give my private information and picture to a company that had these conditions. It would have been more honest on their part to have screened the career quota from the beginning. I feel that the Upwork site is just phishing for data because even if I close my account, they will still have my data. This is very disconcerting.

Awesome experience of using Upwork... we all have through tough times due to Covid... lost my job. But thanks to Upwork I have found work and confidence to get back with my life... highly recommended.

Upwork provides a great service and is a win win for client and freelancer. The client finds the most suitable freelancer for their job and the freelancer gets work. Freelancers scan available work offers and then bid for the job. This should lead to an interview either via Upwork messages, a skype or a mobile call. With the random screen shots taken when the freelancer is working on the clients accounting system, the client can be confident the freelancer is working on the job when they get the Upwork invoice and the freelancer gets paid weekly. When the job is finished, the client should leave a reference and as good references build up, the freelancer gets invitations to work on new client jobs which in my case led to more and more work, a considerable number of regular clients and I have done a lot more one off jobs..

If you are registered with Upwork than surely you are going to earn especially It is an industry which is working in this COVID pandemic. And Upwork gives you the platform to showcase your skills and by completing tasks you can earn the money which you have asked for so so no wrong negotiation as well you do not need to take part in any unwanted marketing and lead generation stuff as its project market place. It's like do fishing in the sea which is full of fishes.
