I love to challenge myself by entering the contests on Viewbug. I also enjoy having a website to share my shots and encourage others to vote for my photos. I've been using this service since September 2023.
Viewbug is a fantastic platform that you can use to share your work and even enter into various different competitions to challenge your ability and your skills. I would highly recommend you join and give it a go.
It's a pretty good site for getting advice and inspiration. They have contest and skill blogs within the site. All in all a good experience here.

I have been a member of viewbug for many years now and I've entered hundreds of contests. Never won. I have however won challenges
I have used Viewbug for ca 5-7 years. I have posted close to 300 photos, all of which are creative, lit properly, not blurry, and if I do say so myself, quite well set and captured. However, I have nearly 600 awards. Now you might say, "But that's great! Why complain or question it?" Well, what bugs me is that some people who have well over 5000 awards, have only 13 photos and they are really not that special. Sometimes photos among the 5 - 13 to 27 photos in their collection are even blurry. How in the heck did they get an award? Is it a fake profile created by Viewbug's AI to make you think they give out awards to real people?... I have submitted to easily 20 or contests over the years, with photos that won plenty of community awards, but I have yet to win any equipment. Just saying... it smells a bit odd.
Winning my first photo contest on ViewBug was an exhilarating experience! The recognition and exposure I gained were beyond my expectations. I can't thank ViewBug enough for providing a platform that appreciates and celebrates the art of photography...
I have participated in other photo contests elsewhere but I find ViewBug's approach to be the most unbiased and credible. It's reassuring to know that your work is evaluated based on its merits. The ranking and voting is clear and you cannot buy votes which I think is as fair as it gets

The memberships are reasonable.
Uploading from phone is the only downside.
I am a Lite Member and LOVE IT. Viewbug gives me the opportunity to see other's work and to gather inspiration the next time I use my camera. I'm not a pro by any means. Just a person who is enjoying a hobby. Yes, I enter contest and could careless if I win... the likes and small peer awards that I am receiving give me the courage to press on and hopefully one day capture the most amazing photo ever.

I have been a Pro+ member for several years now and at first it was reasonably good value but to be honest I now see no benefit from paid for membership and in fact no real benefit at all from the site. The incessant emails are annoying, the contests are pointless, and the so-called benefits of membership offer little that can't be obtained elsewhere, often free of charge.
I shall not be renewing my membership.
I love ViewBug because as a photographer, I can share my work with the world. People can leave you feedback on your photo's, you can enter photo competitions and contests to get social exposure to your name and work, plus win cool prizes like tripods, gift cards, and cameras. It's really helped build up my clientele, plus people have the options of taking a picture and paying to get it put on a canvas or print, so you can make money from your work. A passive income. Plus, I don't have to pay to be part of the community. Overall, I give ViewBug a 5 star rating. Thank you for the exposure to my photography.

I love ViewBug, it's a great place to showplace your photography. What I'm not absolutely sure about is why, when I'm going through other people's photos, some of them are repeated on different profiles. I have emailed ViewBug about this twice, but they haven't as yet responded.
I can't believe how much my photography has improved since joining ViewBug. The tutorials and feedback from the community have helped me see things in a whole new light.
You have to be a very good photographer to win any competition these days and it is no different with View bug. I see a load of rubbish when voting for competitions but unfortunately everyone including myself thinks their work is the best! Still blasting away yet to win anything!
Learned about this site from my younger brother when he won a contest on viewbug.
It is an amazing community and it offers many benefits, including contest for different levels and you can choose to pay or not. The voting is superb and I feel like a real photographer by awarding images I consider should be awarded ;) Very inspiring and fun!
