Bought some Wasabi ready meals in Sainsburys today. Got them home to discover just how much of a con this company is pulling on the British public. False bottoms on their food packaging, with more space inside the food trays. Essentially they have a cardboard tray with a false bottom, then a plastic tray that sits inside the cardboard tray with another hidden gap. This gives the misleading impression that you're getting a reasonable portion of food, when in fact half of the space is just air.
The content is the next disappointment. Some noodles, peas and a small piece of chicken. You could put together the same 'meal' for a fraction of the price.
I've come across some cynical marketing and profiteering, but the Wasabi Company are the new low for me. Absolutely disgusting way to make money.
MY RATINGS:
5 Stars = Excellent with minimal or no problems. I would recommend.
4 Stars = Very good, and I would use again
3 Stars = Average, with room for improvement
2 Stars = Poor service or goods. I don't recommend.
1 Star = Gross incompetence/ dishonesty/ negligence. Stay away.
Tip for consumers:
Don't encourage this company by buying their products. They need to take a look at just how unethical their practices are.
