If I could put zero stars I would. Their customer service sucks, they have auto messages that respond to you via email and say someone will contact you within 24 hrs. Then you hear nothing. All I wanted to do was return something, I have bought things from this site a few times and now they will forever be on my $#*! list. I am telling my entire family to never buy from them again. Any of my hair stylist friends I am telling them too. Companies should not be allowed to get away with this kind of poor service. I had to report them to the BBB just to get a actual response and they had the nerve to say they contacted me multiple times when I attached pictures of the auto responses I got and the fact that I tried to message them on social media.Don't buy from them!
I never knew this site existed and just found out about it lastweek (through google) and my first time experience was great! I ordered haircare products (shampoos, conditioners etc); the prices were very inexpensive, the shipment was fast (which was expected since it did cost $12.00 - a bit high in my opinion) and none of my products were damaged (they were sealed securely in bubble wrap and came in a box).
I saw alot of negative reviews about persons not receiving their packages (mainly weave) or products being damaged etc which made me very nervous to make a purchase but I took a chance and did it anyway and I am pleased.
I will definitely purchase from this site again!
I placed an order and received confirmation then I received a notification that the amount was refunded to me so I have no way of following up but I feel lucky that they did not keep the money. Now I'll look to order from another site.
I just received the 2 units Bobbie Boss Aimee and I am highly upset with the quality. I contacted them and told them the units are stringy and thin...and they tell me they inspect all of their wigs, etc., etc., and went on to tell me I can return them along with a 20% restocking fee. I will not be ordering from them anymore and might as well keep this trash rather than pay for shipping plus 20% restocking fee. Crazy...
This place lies, and they have fake documents for refunds. I bought 4 wigs, I only got 3. They did not refund my money for this wig, and I did not get a replacement. This wig store needs to be shut down. Its full of crooks!
I love the prices at wigtype. I would suggest that you order a product from Wigtypes that you are familiar with. If not, good luck on trying to return item. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.
You can not talk to anyone over phone. They don't answer via email. Live chat does not work. There are no instructions on how to return the item. My advise is to pay a little more from another company that has good customer service.
They sent me wrong item an refused to receive it back even though it was their fault they do not honor their policies an when i told them i was going to give them bad review they removed my order from account.
I've tried several times to order a wig for My Mother that She really wants and had absolutely No Success! Your Website is Trash and Needs a Serious Upgrade! You're Losing Customers! If you order from them expect to never get your package. They still use UPS despite the fact that UPS HAS NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEM. What I am pissed about it they don't respond to customers. They have an audacity to post these ugly wigtype girls false advertisement, but regular paying customers don't get replied to. They are absolutely horrid. I will never spend another dime on this website again. I suggest y'all use elevate styles. They respond immediately. Wig types is too busy promoting ugly chicks with ugly wigs.
I requested a refund from wigtypes.com and, not only did they ignore my request, they REJECT any orders I make. The public including reviewers on YT have been notified about their BAD business ethics. I was shipped wrong wig wrong color and never given an email confirmation.The company won't exchange but said I could return it for a 20% stocking fee. I even read the reviews and should have followed my gut ugh. Do Not I repeat Do not order from This company which is known as Brooklyn Beauty supply company.
My first order was for 2 wigs. I loved them! Ordered 6 more for a total of 8. I love them all. Also, the price and delivery time were phenomenal. Sign me a satisfied customer with no intention of wig shopping elsewhere.
This company only wants to sell -not service. One of the three wigs I ordered was damaged out-of-the-box. I never even tried it on. All I wanted was to exchange for a non-damaged replacement. After three calls that were never answered and three email messages that were never returned, I have to cut my losses. I had another 7 wigs (sister/mom) is my basket, but knowing that I will have no recourse if one of them is damaged, I decided to shop elsewhere. Yes, the prices are good, but if you have to throw away money on damaged merchandise, the price shoots up. It's not worth the risk.

The wig came in AWFUL it was thin and had so many gaps! Stay away from this company. In the process of trying to get a refund will write another review of how that goes and there is NO way im paying any restocking fee i better get all of my money back.
All our products come directly from the manufacturer. We do not open the wigs for sanitary reasons. If there is an issue with the quality we accept returns within 10 business days. After this time you may contact the manufacturer in regards to quality concerns.
The guy I spoke on the phone with was completely rude and did not have any sense of hospitality. The wig sent to me looked nothing like the image online and he gave me an attitude because I want to return it for that reason. Do not buy from wigtypes!
I recently purchased 4 wigs from this company, and one of them was supposed to have been Champagne colored, but instead, had a lot of grey/white streaks of hair. It only cost $20, but I do not want a wig with grey hair in it, so I called to have them replace or refund, and they would not, and told me it should have grey hairs in it.
They have lost a customer, and now get this review rather than make it right. Really?
Pictures on our website show that is grey hairs in the wig. You are more than welcome to return the product if you are unsatisfied however the item was pictured correctly.

If they can somehow fix how they communicate with their customers, they wouldn't have so many on the blacklist. Luckily for me, I found a better inexpensive wig store online. Ordered wig, paid threw paypal, and the Web site charged also, then when I contacted them to let them know I was charged twice, they were very rude, said I would get refunded after two business days, that was three weeks ago, contacted them threw email, no response called, no response. Never again.
I have placed 7 orders since Sept 2017 and have received all of my packages on time or early and in great condition. I have never had to contact customer service, so I am unable to rate the customer service rep experience. When search the site for a new wig, I review the product reviews if available. The videos are most helpful to actually viewing the wig prior to purchase. The presenter will generally discuss the preparation needed for the wig to fit her liking. I have purchased a total of 50 wigs and I am 98% satisfied with my purchases. The prices are good and the wigs are definitely quality products. Packaging is great too, easy to stack the wigs when being stored.
