I am writing to share my deeply unsatisfactory experience with the services provided by Winni.in on Valentine's Day, 2024.
Having placed an order for a cake for my wife on February 14th, 2024, through their website www.winni.in, my expectations were set high, given the promised 2-hour delivery window displayed on their platform. However, my experience turned out to be a complete letdown.
To start with, I paid Rs 1000 for the cake and selected the delivery time of 1 PM. Unfortunately, the cake was delivered a staggering eight hours later at 9 PM. This significant delay not only violated the promised delivery window but also disrupted the special plans I had in mind for the occasion. To make matters worse, there was no communication from Winni.in regarding the delay, leaving me frustrated and uninformed.
Adding insult to injury, Winni.in charged an extra fee for the delivery, a service that was far from satisfactory. The website showcases appealing images of their products, creating an expectation of high-quality items. However, the reality was starkly different. The cake delivered was not only subpar but could be described as nothing short of pathetic.
Attempting to seek redress, I tried to contact their customer care through the provided phone number, only to discover that it was out of service. The live chat option on their website proved equally futile, as it appeared to be automated and provided no real assistance. This lack of accessible customer support added to the overall frustration of the experience.
One of the most disheartening aspects of this ordeal was the realization that Winni.in outsources its orders to local vendors, who, in this case, failed to meet the promised standards. The disparity between the showcased images and the actual product delivered was evident, suggesting a lack of quality control and accountability.
Despite the 5-star ratings displayed on their website, my personal encounter with Winni.in has led me to question the authenticity of those reviews. I am inclined to believe that they may be misleading or, worse, manipulated to create a favorable image.
In conclusion, my experience with Winni.in on Valentine's Day was not just disappointing but also frustrating and infuriating. The late delivery, lack of communication, substandard product, and unresponsive customer service have left me with a bitter taste. I strongly advise against using Winni.in for any future purchases and hope that others can learn from my unfortunate experience.
What a pathetic response and customer care attitude from a *Senior Executive* named *Ajay Kumar* who disconnects my call when he got trapped for giving me untrue replies.
Their executives at the *Call-Centre* as well as their *Vendors* are very much unprofessional. They just kill and dampen your spirit of celebration and occasion. I had placed an online order for a Birthday Card, Chocolate cake and a Bouquet of Carnations (12 Pink Carnations and Chocolate cake combo) from Mumbai ORDER NO. ************ to my aunt at Goa-Merces on 28th August late in the night of which delivery time was given anywhere between 10am to 9pm the next day i. E. on 29th August. From 11am their site had a fixed message *"OUT FOR DELIVERY"*. And somewhere around 11:00am, I received a call saying Carnations are not available, instead they would be replaced with Roses. I agreed for the same. It was at 20.46pm that I started following up with the call centre no. ********** to find out about my order. The first response for my first call was "THE ORDER WILL BE DELIVERED WITHIN HALF AN HOUR AS THE CAKE WAS DAMAGED BY THE DELIVERY PERSON". I kept chasing them till 23:41pm. When called the second time at 21:18pm, Executive Rohan again told me another half an hour or more which would be night after 10pm. At this point of time, very much disappointed I wanted the order to be Cancelled because it crossed all limits. Executive ROHAN assured me that my order stands Cancelled and I will get the refund in the same mode as done by me i. E.: GOOGLE PAY and I would receive an email regarding the cancellation. Everything was agreed and I was about to get a mail about the cancellation and a refund within 12-15days. Later at 10:46pm I get a message that the order is delivered whereas it wasn't at all. When I called the customer care, my call was transferred to Senior Executive AJAY KUMAR. He gives me bull$#*! replies saying it's delivered when asked to whom he wasn't ready to respond and got stuck in his own untrue replies. Later I asked him to put me on a Conference Call to the vendor. So I get a reply "VENDOR TEAM IS NOT ANSWERING". AJAY tries to end the call by saying "IT IS DELIVERED". Unsatisfied by his reply, I called back but he wasn't ready to come on call and said he wasn't on the floor.
Today morning I called the call centre number once again and spoke to Executive MAHI to get the updates. It was confirmed from her end that the order was not delivered due to some reason. I spoke last to RAHUL SHARMA after which I received an email at 10:38am from *******@winni.in "YOUR ORDER #************ on Winni.in has been cancelled". But nothing about the refund is mentioned in the email.
My suggestion to everyone please do not rely upon them. They are truly unprofessional. I will prefer *Ferns & Petals* instead. Ferns and petals are highly professionals as they stand up to their commitments. Winni.in is more costly as well as poor, worst, disgusting, in services. A COMPLETE MONEY MAKING RACKET.
I won't sit quiet on this matter but surely I'll put it up everywhere till I don't get my refund through the same mode of payment which I have done through Google Pay.
Service is pathetic, my order ID is "************", specially done for valentines day and also recommented by friend. But:
1. Beside asking time, my order is not yet delivered.
2. Phone on the website is never responding "I am trying to call on +91-********** also now"
3. On chat - Customer service agent replies after 40 min "Hi", and then vanishes.
I think this is a fraud website.
