Be careful when purchasing cards in bulk. I have literally purchased over $100,000.00 in gift cards from this company over the past few years, and had one of them expire. They refused to reissue the card and kept my $500.

So I am ocd about checking my balance. They decided to randomly charge me 3 fees. Their first email said "nothing they could do" they cannot reverse fees. Lies! I called and complain and he investigated it, they charged me 4.95x3 for the hell of it. See below for evidence of how shady they are
I ordered a $200 egift card and didn't get the card. When I checked, the money was taken from my bank and bank says it's been processed but giftcards refuses to send the card or my money back. They're saying that the funds could not be captured but clearly if the transaction was processed THE FUNDS WERE CAPTURED
I can't actually believe that this company gets away with this and is still up and running. They have never tried to rectify any of the problems that they create and they should be put out of business PRONTO

Every time I went to use the card, it was not authorized and by the time I battled with Giftcard and their monthly deductions, there was nothing left on the card. You see, Giftcard take monthly deductions.

Placed an order that my card company stopped due to security. I can understand that. Cleared that with the card company and placed the order again. After I get the order confirm, giftcards.com canceled stating it didnt pass their screening? I never had this issue in this way on any other website for any amount.
When you need a canned answer on why your transaction cannot be processed then you've come to the right web site. "Your order was not approved by our security screening process" they say. Its BS. There is only one company worse than this one and its Comcast. Now I'm sure you realize how bad they are after that comparison.

I've tried purchasing in the past, and they cancelled the same order three times in a row. I opened a ticket, they eventually called, and said everything was "fixed", and I could place an order now. And I did. A month later I tried another order, and once again they cancelled. Opened a ticket, received an email 2 days later say someone would contact me within 24 hours. They didn't, sent a follow-up and heard from someone. Basically told to make sure all information is properly entered. Something raised a red flag, though they cant tell you what it is, and to retry. I understand they have to protect against fraud, but the systems they employ sure do catch and revoke a lot of legitimate business. I'm done with them.
This company is a total scam. They steal money from the card holders by charging a bogus monthly fee due to non use. This is not disclosed ANYWHERE on the card. We are given a gift card with a validity of 5+ years, nobody said we have, "days" to use our money or forfeit it to their fees. Total sham! Let your employers know and whoever else gifts them to you so they can avoid using them in the future.

Giftcards.com is a total scam. I'm not sure how else a gift card company would make their money but it shouldn't be by taking $X dollars per month from peoples cards that aren't being used and it definitely shouldn't suspend your card for checking your balance online more than once. I am going to make sure the company I work for is notified about Al of this hassle and next year they likely won't use them going forward.

I don't know how many times I have to place an order before it actually goes through. I'm not a 70 year incompetent online buyer. This ain't my first rodeo. I've spent hours designing a customized gift card and holiday card and every time I get to payment it kicks me out and I have to start all over again. F this S.
We have been a loyal customer of Giftcards.com for over 5 years. We spend thousands and thousands of dollars year after year with them. We use the gift cards for our customers and employees. Very rarely do we have any issues. Recently a customer of ours thought he lost his gift card, he then found it but noticed it had expired. He was very upset. I asked if giftcards.com would please cancel and then reissue a new card since it was never used and it's very rare we have requested something like this. We understood there would be a processing fee. Then today I received an email stating that my case request was denied. I am asking them to reconsider and reissue the unused gift card we purchased.

Purchased $1,000 in gift cards to be delivered electronically. According to the automated system 3 days later, the order was canceled. Thankfully they refunded my card, however, no reason was given, but they sure send out marketing emails every day wanting me to buy more gift cards. Why would I do that when they cancel orders?

I will never use this company again. I received an email that my visa gift card account was suspended. I called Giftcards.com and the representative told me that apparently I checked my balance too frequently, therefore the card was suspended. If I want to check my gift card 100 times per day I should be allowed the independence to do so without the threat of suspension. Prior to the card suspension, I had multiple problems with paying for any goods online. I emailed support and got an automatic response that the issue was resolved. It was not resolved! Poor service, time consuming and a scam. Avoid at all costs. The email they replied with also stated that I can't use the card to gamble, pay bills with etc. I was trying to buy items online, none of which were for gambling or paying bills. PATHETIC Company.

I called these guys hoping to get a replacement card when my card expired. After wasting a bunch of time with these guys, I was told to go read the contract. Effectively, they told me that I can't get a replacement card and my money is gone. For sure they had some clause in their fine print to cover themselves legally. That's what they do. Don't fall for their marketing. Don't waste your time/money with these guys. Their primary business model is to steal from their customers and they'll use legal jargon, fine print, contracts etc. Go with someone else that is legit.

This company is horrible. I would give it zero stars but that was not an option. Horrible customer service, they do nothing to resolve any issues, keep referring out the issue for more business days and will never escalate the call to someone actually helpful. Don't expect a refund either. Buy directly from the stores and save yourselves the hassle!
Tried to cancel. Got a huge run around after spending forever going through the prompts to speak with a real person. Asked for supervisor, put on hold and then disconnected by them. Called back, another representative said he would cancel, but it would take 6 business days to get a refund. It's not looking good. Plus they have an expiration date. I am sorry I didn't check reviews first. Never again!
I bought an e giftcard that was invalid. When I reported it to customer service they offered no resolution and closed my inquiry because too much time had passed since my original order. They clearly do not stand behind the cards they sell. The giftcard was for around $25 and they would rather lose a customer than credit me back. Horrible company. Will never buy from here again. I'll stick with cardpool for future discount giftcards.
So sorry I did not check customer reviews before I frustrated myself trying to order actual gift cards. TG that neither my credit card nor bank debit card would honor the orders. Thought I must be making errors in entering info. But maybe not. Guess I will just have to hoof it to the gift card rack at the supermarket and buy direct. This card doesn't work at most places. Denied at Macy's and Walmart and pet store. Only Boscov accepted one. Not cool.
Update: Customer service got back to me right away so changed 1 star to 3 stars. If you buy something and cost is more than the card value the cashier must input the card for the amount on the card. So you got $25 on the card and you try to buy something for $172, the cashier has to know the value on the card and enter $25 for the card and you pay rest in other way. Some places like Boscov don't have a problem but for stores who do the cashier/manager has to enter it this way for it to work. Still its a little bit of a PITA.
1 Star: I paid $78 for a $100 Starbucks gift card. When I first bought the card, I thought I could use it in store but I was told later that it's for online use only. As disappointed as I was, I accepted it. I couldn't find anything to buy online at the time until now, only to find out the balance on the gift card is completely empty and unusable. I tried to complain only to find out it's out of their 100 day warranty period. I got robbed out of my money and they won't do a thing about it.
Edit: 4 Stars. After arguing my case that they should still make it right, CS decided to refund my $78 after all. Glad to see a company deciding to make the customer happy. I won't give 5 stars because I shouldn't have to argue my case in the first place. I came away satisfied in the end.
