I feel similarly about Avalanche as I do about Solana. I get that today they can offer cheaper more efficient transactions compared to mainnet Ethereum, but if demand for their block space rises significantly, prices will rise just like they did on Ethereum. And today you can develop on Layer 2 Ethereum and get the performance and low prices with the security and decentralization of the Ethereum layer 1. Maybe I'm missing something but that's the lay of the land as far as I can tell.
