I work with this company for a fews month when I had some very important documents I was working on and needed to faxed to the government! So i was a little concerned how the quality would turn out on the there end when they received my faxes. I was happy to know one they received everything I sent had no missing pages. This was a great relief and everything resolved perfectly. Thanks Fax.com
On 10/1/21 I requested a cancellation for my account after 1 month. It is now 11/15 and they have still not refunded nor cancelled my account. They are not a good company to do business with and will continue to bill you despite sending them what information they've requested from you. My only option is to dispute with my bank, again and order a new card which I already did.

fax.com has no phone service anymore, even though their website says they do. Thus if you get locked out. You have no way to reach a person. Overpriced asses. If there is a better option, please let me know. I am sick of this.
I signed up as a customer at home one evening. When I got to work the next day, my login wouldn't work. I changed my username and my password and it still wouldn't work. I needed to use the fax that day to send court paperwork so I signed up a new account. Guess what, that username and password didn't work either. And now I am being charge a double payment. On top of that, I emailed customer support 5 days ago about this issue and Ii have yet to hear from them. 100% worthless. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Horrible reviews. Wish I would've looked at the reviews before putting my credit card in.
SCAMMERS. They offer fax services under two different names, J2Metrofax and Fax.com. I called about them charging me $9.99 and then $9.95 after I attempted to cancel these services. They still charged me and would not give me back my money. Both customer services told me that a refund was not applicable. I have never had to deal with scammers to this degree which is so obvious. Then they had the nerve to offer me a plan of $2.95 a month! How dare you! You already charged me $19.95 for services that did not work properly. They ask you to sign up for a trial just to encounter that it does not work properly. Then it's a major ordeal to cancel the so called fax services. Stay clear of these two companies. They are rude, very horrible English on purpose so that you don't understand what they are saying.
I had no idea these thieves were still charging my card until I lost it and they sent me an email saying my payment didn't go through. I also signed up for the "free" trial which they charged me for anyways. I talked to some guy in India who repeatedly said I got no proof of cancelling, where was the confirmation number?, of course I got no money back.

Nearly impossible to cancel. Don't sign up. You can cancel online supposedly, but need to do it via chat, which is never available. When calling, I was moved back and forth between departments for 14 minutes before I finally got forceful and demanded the account to be cancelled.

They officalyy have no customer phone support they have you write them an email and they responded after 2 weeks that i need to send another email... calling my bank now to make a charge back and finally get rid of them wow a new low in customer service!
You can not cancel. Ever. No mater how hard you try. I even cancelled my credit card and that didn't work. I'm now thinking of switching banks just to lose this. Don't know what to do.
After attempting to cancel for several months either through their support email, phone listed, I was unable to get my account cancelled!! After finally trying again, i saw there was a live chat. I haven't received my confirmation email for cancellation yet, but I was told it was cancelled! I also want to add, they will NOT refund you for any prior attempt at cancellation!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND FAX.COM.

I found the service to be ok, but when I didn't need them anymore I literally couldn't cancel the service. (If anyone has, I'd love to hear how). I ended up having to call my bank and put a stop payment on future billings because the 2 paths through the phone system both ended in dead ends with a recording option that they never respond to. (You can't cancel online or through email) Because of how hard it was, I ended up not doing it and they got over $100 from me for 6 faxes, but that's my fault for not calling my bank sooner.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I tried several times to cancel my account. They continued to charge me. I called the number to cancel and after a 15-20 minute conversation the man told me in broken English that they system was down and he could not do anything. I opened tickets and emailed. Nothing. I finally got a hold of someone on chat today (after numerous attempts) and they finally said they would cancel my account, and then proceeded to ask if I'd like to purchase a different service from them. I said NO and when I asked them what about all the months I've been getting charged, they disconnected. SCAMMERS!
It's a basic fax web site, allowing you to send documents from uploads without needing a fax machine. However, you can't delete your credit card number on their web site. They say their account cancellation function doesn't work, so submit a ticket. Nearly two weeks after I submitted a help ticket to cancel the account, nothing had happened. I called their 24/7 customer service on a Saturday morning and I talked to a live person. I requested "Cancel" and a man from India tried to give me a "Better Offer." I had to repeat, twice, "CANCEL MY ACCOUNT. If my credit card is charged again, I will submit a fraud complaint to American Express, Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Consumer Protection Agency.
Horrific Customer Service and they refuse to return my money. I had to contact the company more than once before I was able to cancel my account. Upon cancellation and my explanation as to why I chose to cancel, I requested a refund and the representative became rude and argumentative. I asked to speak with a supervisor and after an additional 20 minute hold someone else got on the phone that sounded just like the previous representative except with a deeper voice. I explained the situation again but he was worse than the first representative so I asked to speak with someone else and he refused my request. I've never dealt with such rude and unprofessional individuals in my life. This company is a complete scam and something needs to done about their poor business practices. I wouldn't recommend this service to my worst enemy.
The interface is clunky and would take more time than it's worth to get used to. Small font can't be changed. Unreliable service, particularly sending fax via email. Worst of all, trying to cancel is a chore. First you have to hunt around to even find the right page that gives the cancel option. After that you jump through hoop after heep furniishing ID information and in the end the cancellation is not completed but you are transferred to live chat.
Wait for live chat to start. Explained I wanted to cancel my account. Reply was I was connected to sales and they needed to transfer me to support. Get support and go through all the same questions again plus a few more. And then... instead of canceling they makes a sales pitch to keep me as a customer. I had to be firm and insistent almost to the point of rudeness to shut down that process and get them to agree to cancel.
Waste of time.

They assigned me someone's phone number and NEVER responded to customer service ticket requests or multiple emails. Calling their customer service line results in a long hold... and I got hung up on, not once, but TWICE! Online chat with Kyle Woods resulted in no admittance of error or resolution. In fact, he offered me a discount (FOR A FAX LINE THAT NEVER WORKED)! He claims he called my number and heard a fax tone... not once did I receive any faxes and multiple people (doctor's offices, businesses, etc.) reported a man answered the fax line Fax.com assigned to me. When I called "my" fax number, a man answered and/or his voicemail picked up. DO NOT USE FAX.COM!

What online E service requires phone cancellation? Impossibly long wait on phone and be sure to GET a cancellation confirmation- get the # /if have patience to HOLD. There are other Efax companies, my experience is that fax.com is a shady operation.
Customer service takes forever and makes you go through several phone tree options. Hung up on twice after being on hold 10 minutes without them dating a word. When I finally got through, there were communication issues because the rude guy was from India and wasnt helpful. The website is a joke. I cannot login to fax.com and see the entire fax, just the preview. Its supposed to be emailed and it wasnt. I called to ask him to email it to me and he didnt understand what I was asking him to do. This is so frustrating because my work orders come through on fax and without being able to see them, I cannot help my customers, which hurts my business. I HATE this company

I used this company for several years and decided to cancel and I was offered 2.95$/mo but continued to charge 15$/mon. This time i saved my chat with Joey Anderson and got the confirmation number. If I see a charge i will sue them. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY AND I WOULD REPORT TO BBB.
I called them every month for 6 months to cancel, got a confirmation number, and was still billed every month. The only way I was able to make the charges stop was by cancelling that debit card - my primary card, so a huge hassle - and replacing it.
Just as others said, they will take your credit card information and never let you cancel. You call and hold will be an hour, they give a confirmation and it doesn't matter.
