If it were me I would say stay away!

I have been buying from BTR for several years and have not heard of anyone getting anything but new, authentic goods.

Stay away... I bought "authentic" transworld luggage that transworld themselves told me (in writing) that it was not their product. After battling with BTR re: authenticity - they actually argues with the transworld employee, I kept the luggage and chaulked it up as a bad experience - my last with BTR. Guess what, after the first use, the luggage cracked in two pieces! And of course when I went to put in a claim with the airline, they didn't recognize the value of the luggage because they too were already aware of the BTR knock off and told me very clearly that it was made very poorly in china and they could not give me the full value of the luggage. How was I to argue with the airline, they were right!

I purchased a purse about 6 months ago and while is was supposed to be a name brand, I am very skeptical. Why? Because over the course of the last few month, I have seen the exact same purse being sold under a different name. It has certainly made me go... hmmmm. I also don't feel it was worth the money I paid, let alone what the 'original' price was.

I have made multiple purchases from BTR over the course of many years. Sometimes I am very satisfied while other times not so much because the item(s) received were cheaply made (china most times). As a result I do not purchase as many items as I used to.

Do your research. If you purchase and don't like it, you have to pay a $10 shipping fee to return it, which will be deducted from your credit... yes a BTR credit. You only get a refund if the product is damaged. Many times I have not bothered to return item for this very reason... cause in the end it just wasn't worth it.

Hey Rose, BTR is quality merchandise. I have bought from them before and have not had any problems... and I am a very satisfied customer. But we must remember that we often "get" what we pay for.

PS. One should know that one cannot buy a LouisVuitton or a Gucci quality purse for 100-200 dollars... they are 1000/s of dollars and an investment.

Hi Rose, to be honest, I haven't bought a handbag from them. It's very true though, if you aren't satisfied with the item, you're responsible for the return shipping and only receive a credit, no refund. Many times, the products are a different quality than stated in the description. Hope that helps.
