Are the high prices of these lamps worth it? Or is it a waste of money on an overpriced lamp?

I bought a nice lamp shade and it was definitely worth it.

Only if it is to match an existing lamp. Of course during Covid-19 when we are always home, having the exact type of lamp fixture probably makes more difference now then during normal times.
