How reliable is a client that makes a job offer through email and they have not spoken to you or met you. They like your profile and would like to extend a job offer site unseen. I know in this day and age everything is through email and text. But to trust someone with your children and in your home without meeting them seems a bit suspicious to me.

Well I would be very careful if you haven't met the family or even meeting a family online or from craigslist.
It best to work for a reputable agency that knows the clients, has their information and credit card on file.
There are lots of scams going around.
